Recurrent gap times are analyzed with diverse methods under several assumptions such as a marginal model or a frailty model. Several resampling techniques have been recently suggested to estimate the covariate effect; however, these approaches can be applied with a time-fixed covariate. According to simulation results, these methods result in biased estimates for a time-varying covariate which is often observed in a longitudinal study. In this paper, we extend a resampling method by incorporating new weights and sampling scheme. Simulation studies are performed to compare the suggested method with previous resampling methods. The proposed method is applied to estimate the effect of an educational program on traffic conviction data where a program participation occurs in the middle of the study.

This study was conducted with respect to the causal factors revealed through the investigation of the recent airlines aircraft crash accident which occurred while aircraft was on the climb-out or on the final approach. This study also highlighted the importance of flight deviation and exceedance occurrences in consideration of Flight Operational Quality Assurance Program(FOQA). Twenty airline pilots participated in the flight experiment to perform ten(10) sets of simulated approaches and landings. As a result, Twelve(12) kinds of deviation events were discovered. In this respect, The FOQA program must be fully implemented to prevent any flight safety incident under the auspices of the Korea domestic aviation community as well.

This paper is to describe LYNX-ESM Simulation System to simulate for EW operating environment analysis and system performance verification of LYNX-ESM system using Discrete Event Simulation(DEVS) Methodology. This system consists of 3 PC with TCP/IP network. Each PC is loaded with Modeling & Simulation program based DEVS. Each connected program conducts EW simulation. As a result, we analyze the operating environment of the maritime EW threat, simulate the EW threat discrimination and geolocation capability, and estimate the LYNX-ESM system effectiveness before real LYNX-ESM system development.

The Storm Water Management Model(SWMM) by EPA is a dynamic rainwater-runoff simulation model used for single event or long-term simulation of runoff quantity and quality from primarily urban areas. The SWMM simulation program is operated by the site area, the weather date, conduit plan etc. on reference region. The purpose of this study was to analyze flood area, the duration of flooded and surcharged on the reference region. Without rainwater stored tank, the area of flooded and surcharged on reference area is similar to the area of reference region. But, With rainwater stored tank, the area of flooded and surcharged on reference area is much reduced compared to without rainwater stored tank. According to SWMM simulation results, the rainwater stored tank is located closer to site is more effective for reduction of duration of flooded and surcharged and flow rate.

In this study we developed the visualization scheme of spatial ground-motion measurements in real time by using DSS data. Even though this scheme itself is useful for national earthquake mitigation plans, this scheme could be served as the crucial core for constructing rapid earthquake damage evaluation system. DSS is the abbreviation of Data Subscription Service and this is the pre-assigned request for the seismic stations to send very limited brief data with high priority and negligible transmission load. In addition to visualize the damage area with intensity, the corresponding epicenter can be estimated roughly for quick event alarm. For the interpolation of spatially irregular PGA data, the program, named as surface. of GMT was used with NetCDF grid file format. Since the grid file is similar to a postscript file, the program, called as shading, was coded with C language by using Matpak library in order to convert grid files into image files.

The former paper (Part I) studies two methods for searching and determining the simple paths in an acyclic or a cyclic network. The two methods are computer programmed as subroutines (SPLP1 and SPLP2) for various use. And a few examples of its applications are discussed Another paper (Par II) studies the reliability computation for a network by using the Event Space Methods. A computer program is developed for the computation by applying the SPLP2 subroutine subprogram. In this paper the former results are summarized with another computer program for reliability computation by using the Path Tracing Methods. The two subroutines appear in the Appendix as reference for others. The programs can be used in the reliability computation of reducible and irreducible structure networks.

The patient with a posttraumatic stiffness frequently has a history of prolonged immobilization after a traumatic event. Adhesions in the extraarticular humeroscapular motion interface may be present independently or in combination with intraarticular capsular contractures. A through history and physical examination usually reveal the cause and anatomic location of stiffness. Passive stretching exercise program is effective as a first line treatment, but manipulation under anesthesia is usually not effective because of potential complication such as fracture, tendon rupture and neurologic injury. The humeroscapular motion interface adhesion can be released either open or arthroscopically. The combined technique coupled with an aggressive rehabilitation program can provide more effective motion restoration and pain relief.

본 논문에서는 TV 프로그램 <한끼줍쇼>를 통해 보여주고자 한 한국인의 정서, 문화, 음식을 이야기하고자 한다. 한국 사회는 그동안 급격한 산업화의 영향으로 도시화가 빠르게 진행되어 왔다. 그로 인해 현대인의 모습은 컴퓨터와 모바일 폰을 친구 삼아 지내거나 식사시간을 넘겨서 혼자 식사를 해결하는 등 단출하고 분주한 생활을 보내고 있다. 이제는 예전처럼 단란하게 가족끼리 저녁을 먹으며 즐겁게 얘기 나누는 것이 이제는 흔치 않은 풍경이 되어 버렸다. 앞으로 4차 산업으로 나아가는 시점에서 한국 사회는 개인주의, 소외된 삶이 가속화될 것이다. 이 시점에서 우리 가족과 이웃을 돌아보며 무엇이 더 소중한지를 자 한다.

A shop floor control system (SFCS) is the central part of a CIM system used to control the activities of several pieces of manufacturing equipment (e.g., NC machines, robots, conveyors, AGVs, AS/RS). The SFCS receives orders and related process plans, and then performs selecting a specific process routing, allocating resources, scheduling the workpieces, downloading the processing instructions (e.g., RS-274 instructions for NC machines, VAL II programs for robot), monitoring the progress of activities, detecting and recovering from errors, and preparing reports on the status of the manufacturing system. Simulation has been utilized in discovering control policies used for resolving shop floor be control problems such as resource contentions, part dispatching, deadlock. The simulation model must be designed to respond to real-time data coming from a shop floor. However, to rapidly build a realtime simulation model of SFCS cannot be easily accomplished. This talk is to address an automatic program generator of discrete event simulation model for shop floor control from process plans and resource models. The program generator is capable of constructing complete discrete simulation models for multi-product and multi-stage flexible manufacturing systems.

2007 Design Festival on Seongnam Living Design has been held with the theme of "You and I, We" on the basis of harmony through design. This kind of theme has the main concepts as follows: Harmony- the exhibition program that can capture our mind, Communication-the experience program not through personal work but through group work, Design Seongnam-joyful Sungnam which we have made together by regional participation design project. Especially, it also has encouraged active and voluntary participation based on the promotion of the event and design exhibition that are hosted by the universities, elementary and secondary schools that represent the downtown Seongnam. In understanding Seongnam City, it has applied the plan introducing emotional process. These are the programs, which are reading, thinking, listening, watching, touching, making, and dreaming. Through the processes of being with Seongnam by participants, it has helped people know more about Seongnam, and focused on being the exhibition understanding the members of the community Seongnam.
