입지계수를 이용한 지역 농특산물 지리적표시제의 정량적 평가기준 연구 (Quantitative Evaluation on Geographical Indication of Agricultural Specialty Products using Location Quotient (LQ) Index)

  • Using geographical indication, a type of source identification, can effectively promote local specialty agricultural products of superior quality, by identifying the specific geographic location or origin of the produce. Agricultural products can be registered using the geographical indication by describing the product's relation to its geographical origin including the reputation and quality. However, this indication has no objective standards to qualify goods as agricultural specialty products. The purpose of this study is to suggest basic criteria to define the characteristics and criteria of agricultural specialties based on a quantitative evaluation method. To propose this basic standard, we used the proportion of arable land to denote the major production areas and the location quotient (LQ) index to grasp the extent of the specialty of a product. The results show that the average LQ values of registered agricultural products, particularly apples, pears, and garlic, are 3.26, 8.01, and 2.82, respectively. This indicates that they are more specialized than produce from other areas that have not registered for a geographical indication. Low LQ values were found in some areas with registered rice geographical indications, which are also more focused on their historical reputation as the main rice producing areas. Considering the agricultural specialty of products, the recommendation is that the producing proportion should be over 1% of the national scale and over 10% of the province scale, and the LQ value should be over 2.0. This recommendation is not a requirement, but the criteria can prove to be useful in identifying a higher range of specialized agricultural products.

패스트 패션의 상품 공급 프로세스 설계에 관한 연구 (The Product Supply Process Design for Fast Fashion Industry with BPMN)

  • This paper suggests the product supply process model based on the store and production capacity, assortment planning and quick response for fast fashion retailers with BPMN. In the fast fashion industry, the standardized business process model is required to respond quickly market trends and customer requirements based on the quantitative and qualitative criteria. Thus we define the product supply processes which incorporate forecasting and assortment plan, cost and profitability of the production, store capacity based on the visual merchandising, and production capacity of the fast fashion retailers. Also we design the key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of these product supply processes. The product supply process model for the fast fashion has great significance in embracing the fast fashion product development process because it presents the holistic view of the product supply process of the fast fashion and provides a performance evaluation mechanism. A case study shows that adopting the processes, a Korean fast fashion company achieves improvement in various performance indicators.

미디어아트의 정량적 평가체계에 대한 연구 (Framework for the Quantitative Evaluation of Media Arts)

  • 예술작품의 평가는 작품의 제작과 감상자체가 매우 정성적인 가치관을 기반으로 한다는 전제아래 객관적으로 수치화 하려는 노력을 찾아보기 어려웠다. 이에 1960년대 말 이후로 후기 모더니즘적 사조 내에서 급격히 증가하는 미디어아트를 중심으로 기존의 예술평가의 핵심이 되었던 감상자의 주관적 의견을 최대한 반영할 수 있으며 동시에 미디어아트에 포함되는 기계적, 제품적 측면도 동시에 검토할 수 있는 정량적 평가체계의 구축을 시도하였다. 이에 따라 제시되는 평가체계의 항목에는 매체평가, 작품평가, 감상평가, 상품평가, 전시평가를 포함하였으며 관람자의 미디어아트에 대한 경험수준에 따라 일반감상자, 미디어아트 전문가 그리고 전시관련 업종 종사자, 즉 전시기획자로 분류하여 평가를 실행하도록 하였다. FGD를 거쳐 평가자에 따라, 그리고 평가항목에 따라 가중치를 적용하여 작품에 대한 객관적인 비평과 주관적 선호도를 적절하게 적용하는 평가체계가 되도록 수정하였다.

사용자 리뷰의 평가기준 별 이슈 식별 방법론: 호텔 리뷰 사이트를 중심으로 (Methodology for Identifying Issues of User Reviews from the Perspective of Evaluation Criteria: Focus on a Hotel Information Site)

  • 최근 IT기술의 발전에 따라 많은 사람들이 자신들의 여가활동에 대한 경험을 공유하고 있으며, 역으로 다른 사람들의 여가활동에 대한 경험을 참고하여 더 나은 여가활동을 누릴 수 있는 기회를 얻게 되었다. 이러한 현상은 영화, 숙박, 음식, 여행 등 여가활동 전반에 걸쳐 나타나고 있으며, 그 중심에는 여가활동에 대한 정보를 요약하여 제공하는 수많은 사이트가 있다. 대부분의 여가활동 정보 사이트는 각 상품에 대한 평균 평점뿐만 아니라 상세 리뷰를 제공함으로써, 해당 상품을 구매하고자 하는 잠재고객의 의사결정을 지원하고 있다. 하지만 기존 대부분의 사이트는 한 단계의 평가기준에 따라 평점과 리뷰를 제공하기 때문에, 각 평가기준을 구성하는 세부요소에 대한 특징과 평가기준 별 주요 이슈를 파악하기 위해서는 상당히 많은 수의 리뷰를 직접 읽어야 한다는 불편이 따른다. 즉 사용자는 자신이 중요한 것으로 생각하는 평가기준에 대한 조건을 파악하기 위해, 많은 수의 리뷰를 하나하나 읽어보는 과정에서 많은 시간과 노력을 소비하게 된다. 예를 들어 호텔의 접근성, 객실, 서비스, 음식 등 한 단계의 평가기준만을 사용하여 평점과 리뷰를 제공하는 사이트의 경우, 접근성 중 특히 지하철역과의 거리, 객실 중 특히 욕실의 상태를 살펴보고자 하는 사용자에게 필요한 정보를 충분히 제공하지 못하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 여가활동 정보 사이트의 한계, 즉 평가기준별로 입력된 리뷰를 신뢰하기 어렵다는 점과 평가기준을 구성하고 있는 세부 내용을 파악하기 어렵다는 점을 극복하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법론은 사용자가 별도의 구분 없이 입력한 리뷰를 그 내용에 따라 평가기준별로 자동 분류하고, 각 평가 기준 별 주요 이슈를 요약하여 제공한다. 제안 방법론은 최근 텍스트 분석에 활발하게 사용되고 있는 토픽 모델링(Topic Modeling)에 기반을 두고 있으며, 각 리뷰를 하나의 문서 단위로 사용하는 것이 아니라 리뷰를 문장 단위로 끊어 개별 리뷰 유닛(Review Unit)으로 분해한 뒤, 평가기준별로 리뷰 유닛을 재구성하여 분석한다는 측면에서 기존의 토픽 모델링 기반 연구와 큰 차이가 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안 방법론을 실제 호텔 정보 사이트에서 수집한 423건의 리뷰 문서에 적용하여 6가지 평가기준에 대해 총 4,860건의 리뷰 유닛을 재구성하고, 이에 대한 분석 결과를 소개함으로써 제안 방법론의 유용성을 간접적으로 보인다.

역량바탕의학교육을 촉진하기 위한 교육평가: 통합평가모형 적용 (Adapting an Integrated Program Evaluation for Promoting Competency-Based Medical Education)

  • Educational program evaluation can improve the quality of the curriculum, instructional methods, and resources and provide useful data for making educational decisions and policies. Developing and implementing a program evaluation system is essential in competency-based medical education. The purpose of this study was to explore and establish an educational program evaluation system adapting an integrated program evaluation model to promote competency-based medical education. First, an Educational Evaluation Committee was organized, consisting of faculty, staff members, and students. The committee established an integrated program evaluation model, combining Stufflebeam's Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model of a process-oriented approach and Kirkpatrick's four-level model of an outcome-oriented approach. Kirkpatrick's model was applied to the product evaluation of the CIPP model. The committee then developed evaluation criteria, indicators, and data collection methods according to the components of the CIPP model and the four levels (reaction, learning, behavior, and results) of Kirkpatrick's model, and collected and analyzed data. Finally, the committee reported the results of evaluation to a Medical Education Quality Improvement Committee, and the results were used to improve the curriculum and student selection. To enhance the quality of education, identifying educational deficiencies and developing various elements of education in a balanced way through educational evaluation will be needed. Furthermore, it will be necessary to listen to opinions of various stakeholders, work with all members involved in education, and communicate with decision-makers in the process of educational evaluation.

Determination of Shelf Life for Butter and Cheese Products in Actual and Accelerated Conditions

  • The aim of this study was to estimate the shelf life of butter and cheese products, with shelf life being a guide used to determine the storage period of food before deterioration. Butter and cheese samples stored at $10^{\circ}C$ and $15^{\circ}C$ had a shelf life of 221 d, while those stored at $25^{\circ}C$ and $35^{\circ}C$ had a shelf life of 109 d. Quality changes, including total cell count, coliform counts, Listeria monocytogenes counts, acid value, moisture content, pH, acidity and overall sensory evaluation, were monitored. In order to pass the overall sensory evaluation, a quality score of 5 points on a 9-point scale was required. For other quality criteria, legal quality limits were established based on the "Process Criteria and Ingredient Standard of Livestock Products" by the Animal, Plant and Fisheries Quarantine and Inspection Agency (Republic of Korea). The nonlegal quality limit was estimated by regression analysis between non-quality criteria (y) and overall sensory evaluation (x). The shelf life was estimated based on the number of days that the product passed the quality limit of the quality criteria. The shelf life of samples stored at $10^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$ and $35^{\circ}C$ was 21.94, 17.18, 6.10 and 0.58 mon, respectively, for butter and 10.81, 9.47, 4.64 and 0.20 mon, respectively, for cheese.

패션브랜드 분류 기준 모형에 관한 연구 - 패션업체 실무자 관점으로 - (A Model of Criteria for Classifying Fashion Brands - from the viewpoint of fashion business practice -)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out criteria for classifying fashion brand from the viewpoint of fashion business practice in order to develop strategy of fashion brands and to manage brand effectively and systematically, and to suggest theoretical frame for application of these criteria. Survey was implemented for this research. 388 Data from the people who works for merchandising, sales or design in fashion business company was analyzed. Questionnaires were developed based on 37 fashion brand classification criteria. SPSS package and LISREL program were used to analyze data. Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, $$\mu$tiple response analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation model analysis were applied. The results of this study were as follows First, factor analysis considering 37 classification criteria identified 7 factors as classification criteria which can be used effectively by fashion business company. Second, in two cases, based on the job description and the responsible items, analysis showed that importance of the 7 classification criteria factors was different. And all of 7 criteria were correlated to each other. Third, the effective method to classify fashion brands was proposed by establishing the model of the relationship among the values of 7 criteria and by proving it by the structure equation model analysis. And the two types of the courses to classify fashion brand were shown. Forth, according to the evaluation of these criteria in the importance of appropriateness and difficulty of implementing, classification criteria factor of "the level of product concept" was found to be very effective and "the level of brand value" was ineffective to apply.

Development of a Comprehensive Usability Testing and Analysis Framework for the Physical Interface Between Product and User

  • Objective: The present study developed a comprehensive usability testing and analysis framework based on a physical interface model of product and user and applied the proposed framework to usability testing of canister-type vacuum cleaner. Background: The development of a user-centered product design is important to satisfy customers who want to use the product with ease of use and to keep the manufacturer competitive in the market. Method: The proposed testing and analysis framework consists of (1) characterization of physical product-user interface, (2) preparation and administration of usability testing questionnaire, and (3) analysis and interpretation of usability testing results. A usability evaluation of five vacuum cleaners was planned and administered based on the proposed framework and its analysis produced detailed and overall usability testing results for various aspects such as tasks, usability criteria, and design components. Results: The testing results were further utilized to identify usability problems and preferred design features of the vacuum cleaners. Conclusion: The proposed usability testing and analysis framework was found effective to identify preferred features and problems of a product design in a systematic, holistic manner. Application: The proposed framework can be of effective use for practitioners of product design and development to obtain comprehensive, quantitative usability testing information in a systematic manner.

  • 소프트웨어에 대한 품질 측정 및 평가는 많은 인원과 시간이 소요되는 작업으로 다양한 종류의 소프트웨어에 적용하기 어려운 면이 있다. 또한 신속한 품질 측정 및 평가에 대한 중요성이 대두되고 있으며 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 측정평가에 대한 자동화를 통해 신속성과 정확성을 확보할 뿐 아니라 측정과 평가 과정에서 평가자의 주관을 최소한으로 배제할 수 있도록 고려한 품질 측정 및 평가 도구에 대한 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문은 소프트웨어 실용적인 품질평가를 목적으로 품질의 특성 중 사용성에 대한 평가모델 및 평가 방법을 통해 평가도구를 개발하여 소프트웨어 설계 개선요인을 발견하고 제품의 품질을 개발자 및 사용자 측면에서 향상시킬 수 있다.

A Study on Assumptions for Operational Environment of OS Security Enhancement System

  • Trusted operating systems (OS) provide the basic security mechanisms and services that allow a computer system to protect, distinguish, and separate classified data. Trusted operating systems have been developed since the early 1980s and began to receive National Security Agency (NSA) evaluation in 1984. The researches about trusted OS are proceeding over the world, and new product type using the loadable security kernel module (LSKM) or dynamic link library (DLL) is being developed. This paper proposes a special type of product using LSKM and specific conditions for operational environment should be assumed.
