The growth of legal and illegal gambling industry in Korea has increased the gambling accessibility. Actually, the prevalence of gambling addiction in Korea is significantly higher than those in western countries. The problems related to gambling make negative consequences in the individual, familial and socio-economical aspect. Previous studies showed that the prevalence of problem gambling by college students was much higher than that by adolescence and adult due to the nature of psychosocial developmental stage. The purpose of this study is to explore the path of problem gambling among college students based on the Jacob's general theory of addiction. Participants are 366 male college students who have experienced on gambling behavior. The main results are as follows. First, the problem gambling prevalence of participants is 14%. Second, statistical analysis using structural equation modeling shows the significant pathway among psychological vulnerability, needs to escape and problem gambling. Instead, the physiological vulnerability is not significant on the path to problem gambling. On the basis of these findings, the implications for social welfare prevention and intervention to college students are discussed.

The present study aimed to emprically verify the materialistic pursuits process of undergraduates by applying the escape theory of materialism(Donnelly et al., 2016). Among the six steps of Donnelly's model, the first step is percieving that the fall short of high standards of life, as measured by external contingencies of self-worth. The second step is blaming the self for falling short of standards, as measured by self-discrepancy. The third step of high aversive self-awareness is measured by low stability of self-esteem. A total of 465(203 male and 262 female) college students participated in the online survey and the model was tested using structural equation model. We found that the relationship of external contingencies of self-worth and materialism was mediated by self-discrepancy and there was a sequential mediation effect of self-discrepancy and the stability of self-esteem. The direct effect of external contingencies of self-worth on materialism was also significant. This study is meaningful in that it used the escape theory to emprically verify the materialistic pursuit process of Korean undergraduates living in a meritocratic society.

Although many researches have been conducted that the contents consumption, called Hallyu, has a positive effect on the national image of Korea, which leads to product purchases, there have been few empirical studies based on the experience economy theory that connects to value relationships with customers. Therefore, based on the experiential economy theory, this research conducted an empirical analysis of the effect on Korean image and cosmetics purchase intention targeting women living in Malaysia and the Philippines who have experienced the Korean Wave(Hallyu). As a result of the research, entertainment experience, educational experience, and escape experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, but aesthetic experience did not. Entertainment experience, educational experience and escape experience also had significant relationships in the indirect effect of Korean image on cosmetics purchase intention. In the moderating effect analysis comparing the two countries, in Malaysia, escape experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, but in the Philippines, entertainment experience and educational experience had a significant effect on the image of Korea, so there was a difference between the two countries. The effect of Korean image on cosmetics purchase intention was confirmed significantly in both countries, but it was greater in the Philippines than in Malaysia. This research is meaningful in that it is an empirical study based on the systematic framework of experiential economy theory. In order to maintain the effectiveness of the Korean Wave(Hallyu), various improvements in the contents that make up the Korean Wave are required and policy consideration by the relevant authorities is needed. It is also necessary to consider each country's different acceptance of the Korean Wave(Hallyu).

The purpose of this study is find the impact of attachment relationships on the Juvenile delinquency. Attachment relationships divides attachment to parents, attachment to teacher, attachment to friends. Delinquency divides status delinquency, escape delinquency, violence delinquency, possessive delinquency. This study was used raw data of the "Survey of the victim in the elementary school." Result of analysis was the case of post delinquency showed a passion for attachment to parents and teachers on a significant impact on status delinquency. Escape delinquency the love of parents has a significant effect on the escape delinquency. Violence delinquency has a significant effect on the delinquency attachment violence against teachers. Attachment of possessive delinquency parents showed a significant effect on the possessive delinquency.

In the present research, wave propagation characteristics of a rotating FG nanobeam undergoing rotation is studied based on nonlocal strain gradient theory. Material properties of nanobeam are assumed to change gradually across the thickness of nanobeam according to Mori-Tanaka distribution model. The governing partial differential equations are derived for the rotating FG nanobeam by applying the Hamilton's principle in the framework of Euler-Bernoulli beam model. An analytical solution is applied to obtain wave frequencies, phase velocities and escape frequencies. It is observed that wave dispersion characteristics of rotating FG nanobeams are extremely influenced by angular velocity, wave number, nonlocal parameter, length scale parameter, temperature change and material graduation.

So many patterns of the clothing give the specific indication for one's clothing behavior and present the common style for the society. Human being gives the one's free expression and attempts to change the existing cultural environment by the clothing even though human being would be restricted in choosing the clothing within the category of the society & the culture. The value of human being which attempts to escape the restriction through the behavior theory of T. Parsons is analysed and studied. The role of the modern society is being transformed and human being attempts to express one's self through the clothing very strongly. The clothing behavior means the expression of oneself for others. This phenomenon comes from the changing of human being's view of value through the social & cultural environment which give human being the freedom of the individual to choose the various clothing.

We present a theoretical formulation of diffusion process on solid surface based on multidimensional transition state theory (TST). Surface diffusion of single adatom results from hopping processes on corrugated potential surface and is affected by surface vibrations of surface atoms. The rate of rare events such as hopping between lattice sites can be calculated by transition state theory. In order to include the interactions of the adatom with surface vibrations, it is assumed that the coordinates of adatom are coupled to the bath of harmonic oscillators whose frequencies are those of surface phonon modes. When nearest neighbor surface atoms are considered, we can construct Hamiltonians which contain terms for interactions of adatom with surface vibrations for the well minimum and the saddle point configurations, respectively. The escape rate constants, thus the surface diffusion parameters, are obtained by normal mode analysis of the force constant matrix based on the Hamiltonian. The analysis is applied to the diffusion coefficients of W, Ir, Pt and Ta atoms on the bcc(110) plane of W in the zero-coverage limit. The results of the calculations are encouraging considering the limitations of the model considered in the study.

Mr. Cho OO, a famous ex-delinquent who has already spent 27 years in prison for his hardened stealing habit and escape, was recently again arrested by Japanese police for housrbreaking in Japan. Every Korean people would have believed that he had abandoned his habit for good, because, since his liberation in 1998 , he showed himself as a man perfectly cured. He became a believer more than ever, married a well-to-do beautiful woman, got a son from her, had a good income from his job as homme security counsellor and from several other occupations, and after all worked a lot for homeless and unfortunate. Now, his case is given as an important subject to approach for criminologists. As well as we are concerned, we thought, to explain his case criminological, it's primarily necessary to skim through the main criminological theories, and that in behalf of this case. After that, we will be able to decide which theory is mostly appropriate to explain his inveterate disease. The one we chose is the social learning theory. But this theory alone won't allow us to understand all aspects of his crime. This is why we will have to turn to several other theories to complete our explanation. But theoretical understanding alone of a criminal case is useless if it cannot suggest a remedy for it. And, we finish our study by making some suggestions on this case.

Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the adaptation process of correctional officers' job stress. Methods: Participants collected were fourteen officers who had experienced the adaptation process of job stress. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews until the point of theoretical saturation from May to August, 2017. Transcribed interview contents were analyzed using Corbin and Strauss' grounded theory method. Results: A total of 98 concepts, 27 subcategories, and 10 categories were identified through the open coding. As a result of axial coding based on the paradigm model, the job stress adaptation process centering phenomenon of correctional officers was revealed as 'repeat-mark hardening', and the core category was extracted as 'endurance in hardening' consisting of a three-step process: enduring, understanding prisoner management procedures, and rebuilding. The rebuilding was considered as the key phase to escape the repeat-mark hardening and the participants utilized various strategies such as finding fun elsewhere, restoring confidence, accepting values of the prison officer in this phase. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the adaptation process of correctional officers' job stress can be a process that endurance the hardening. Therefore, it is necessary to develop systematic practical education and vocational motivation programs.
