일본(日本)에서 한류변(漢流邊)의 환경부원(環境復元) 발전전략(發展戰略)(I) (Strategic Prospects of Environmental Restoration of Stream Side in Japan(I))

  • This study was carried out to introduce current status and development strategy for an environmental restoration of stream side in Japan, and to consider a methodology which could be effectively applied for the environmental restoration of stream side in Korea. Since the end of 20th century, the native ecology and landscape of Japan remained only a limited areas such as stream side, water side and forest areas. Therefore, recently the works of forest conservation and erosion control of environmental restoration on stream side tended to increased. The strategic prospects of environmental restoration in Japan were summarized as follows : 1. From the ecological point of view, we have to develop a certain method and technology in construction of forest conservation and erosion control to prevent environmental problem from erosion control works. 2. We have to restore not only a continuity of stream side forest from a primitive area to an estuary but also the stream side forest to preserve and restore a stream side vegetation on a primitive watershed areas. 3. We have to improve a method of construction or removal of a structure which were constructed in the stream to restore a water side environment and an interaction system for an integration on a forest land, stream, and erosion control. Additionally, we have to establish an integrated evaluation method and an enforcement system after investigation of influences on natural environment, stream, and forest etc. 4. We have to conduct an integrated research to investigate the ecosystem of stream side, and construct environmentally friendly water park and erosion control park which considered natural environment and its landscape. Additionally, we need to introduce and adopt a natural style stream construction method to restore a water side areas.

인삼 가루깍지벌레[Pseudococcus comstocki (Kuwana), Pseudococcidae, Hemiptera]의 환경친화적 방제를 위한 친환경유기농자재 선발 (Selection of Environmental-Friendly Control Agents for Controlling the Comstock Mealybug [Pseudococcus comstocki (Kuwana), Pseudococcidae, Hemiptera])

  • 경기도 양평 인삼재배지에 발생한 가루깍지벌레는 7월 중순에서 8월 초까지 가루깍지벌레의 개체군 밀도가 증가하였다. 또한 인삼을 수확하기 시작하는 9월말까지도 주당 평균 8마리 이상이 발생하면서 지하부에 있는 인삼 뿌리까지 이동하여 피해를 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 실내에서의 생물검정을 통해 고삼추출물과 파라핀유를 주성분으로 하는 친환경유기농자재인 노버그와 깍삼이, GB-1, GB-2, GB-3, GB-5 등 6종을 선발하였다. 이들 6종의 친환경유기농자재는 화학합성 살충제인 clothianidin이나 thiamethoxam과 거의 비슷한 살충활성을 나타내었다. 선발된 친환경유기농자재를 인삼재배지에서 처리하여 방제효과를 확인한 결과, 고삼추출물과 파라핀유, 키토산을 주성분으로 하는 2종이 살충제 2종과 동일한 방제효과를 나타내었다.

  • 인삼줄기버섯파리(ginseng stem fungus gnat, Phytosciara procera, Diptera)는 인삼재배지의 고죽과 지하부 뿌리에서 5월초까지 유충으로 월동하다가 용화 후 5월말부터 우화성충이 발생하기 시작한다. 따라서 인삼줄기버섯파리의 최초 방제시기는 5월말에서 6월초가 가장 적당한 시기이며, 아울러 이 시기에는 화경절단이 이루어지는 시기이기도 하다. 이후에 발생하는 인삼줄기버섯파리 성충을 방제하기 위해서는 한 달 간격으로 두 세 차례 방제활동이 이루어져야 한다. 인삼포장에서 고죽을 제거함으로 월동한 인삼줄기버섯파리 유충의 생존과 제 1세대 성충의 밀도는 감소시킬 수 있었으나, 이후 다음에 나타나는 제 2세대부터의 개체군 밀도는 고죽제거여부와는 큰 상관성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 고삼추출물을 주성분으로 한 친환경유기농자재 3종이 인삼줄기버섯파리 유충에 대해 높은 살충활성을 나타내었으며, 이 중 고삼추출물과 파라핀유가 주요성분인 친환경유기농자재 1종은 인삼줄기버섯파리 성충의 산란기피효과와 알의 부화를 억제하는 살란효과 도 확인되었다.

The effects of additive biomaterials and their mixed-ratios in growing medium on the growth of Quercus serrata container seedlings

  • The materials of artificial soils in the production process of container seedlings have a great influence on plant growth. Peat moss, vermiculite, and perlite have been used as major components of artificial soils for many years; however, they could decrease carbon fixation carried out by the soil and cause environmental problems such as a change in the water quality. Thus, environmental friendly materials to replace them must be developed. The purpose of this study was to verify the optimum additive materials of artificial soils and their mixed ratios for the growth and seedling quality index (SQI) of Quercus serrata. Rice husk, mushroom sawdust, and pine bark were each used as an additive material and mixed into the growth medium at 10% and 20% of the total volume. There was no significant difference in the height growth of Q. serrata. The 20% mushroom sawdust decreased the root collar diameter by 23.4% compared to the control. The total dry weight was highest with the 10% rice husk and was significantly lower by 10.3% for the 20% mushroom sawdust compared to the control. Additionally, the SQI for all the treatments showed no tendency to increase compared with the control. Thus, this study showed the possibility of recycling biomaterials from agriculture and forest for seedling production. This method could reduce environmental problems and help eco-friendly nurseries to achieve a carbon negative impact by the recycling of by-products.

전력분야의 바이오 기반 친환경 전기 절연유 적용에 관한 개발 동향 분석 (Analysis of Development Trends on Bio-based Environmental Transformers Oils in Power Sector)

  • Mineral electrical insulating oil, which is widely used in transformers, exhibits excellent cooling performance and transformer efficiency. However, given that it is composed of petroleum-based components, it is weak in terms of biodegradability. This causes environmental problems in case of leakage and a low flash point, which is a factor that would cause great damage in the event of a fire in a substation. In this context, the use of eco-friendly electric insulating oil composed of bio-based vegetable oil and synthetic ester, which has excellent biodegradability and flame retardancy performance, has recently been expanded to the field of electric power, and various research and development (R&D) studies are in progress. According to different research results, vegetable oil and synthetic ester manufacturing technology, thermal stability, oxidation stability, property change, and quality control, which are characteristics of eco-friendly electrical insulating oils, are major factors affecting the maintenance of insulating oil properties. In addition, power companies have established and operated quality control standards according to the use of eco-friendly electrical insulating oil as they expand the exploitatoin of renewable energy in electricity production. In particular, deterioration and oxidation characteristics were jointly identified in R&D as an important influencing factor according to the content of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids present in vegetable oils and synthetic esters in power transformer applications.

  • For trying to frontal attack of new solution by fusion of technical tasks and conditions with it's solving methods of the essential tasks of marine resource development and environmental conservation in addition with elements of electronic high-technologies, the skimmer robot was proposed by using of oil spill disaster prevention and its disposal system with sequentially circular collection type of magnetic oil spill adsorbent powder and fabrics on the electronic barge robot for the scheme of sustainable development of environment-friendly technology. It was verified from the experiment of electronic barge robot demonstrator that the skimmer system of magnetic oil spill adsorbent powder and fabrics was very effective and useful technique to collect oil spill samples. At this point, the barge-based electronic remote control was very useful system operating easily on the marine fields to skim oil spill with dangerous toxic substances of crude oil and very harmful to human. Therefore, fusion technology proposed in this study combined with electronic and marine technology is the novel contributable technology for developing marine environmental conservation and environment-friendly disaster prevention, and also its management techniques.

승용 CR 연료분사시스템에 대한 유압 Modal 분석 (Hydraulic Modal Analysis of High-Pressure Common-rail Fuel Injection System for Passenger Vehicle)

  • Recently, R&D demand for environmental friendly vehicle has rapidly increased due to its global environmental issues such as global warming, energy and economic crisis. Under this situation, the most realistic alternative way for environmental friendly vehicle is a clean diesel vehicle. The common-rail fuel injection system, as key technology of clean diesel vehicle, consists of a high pressure pump, common-rail, high pressure fuel line and electronic control injector. In common-rail high-pressure fuel injection system, high pressure wave of injection system and geometry of injector elements have a major effects on high-pressure fuel spray. Therefore, in this study, the numerical model was developed for analysis about the common-rail fuel pressure pulsation by using AMESim code. We could secure stability of common-rail high-pressure fuel injection system through optimal design of fuel line.

실내조건에서 친환경농자재가 기생성 천적곤충에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Environment Friendly Agricultural Materials to Insect Parasitoids in the Laboratory)

  • 시설하우스의 주요 난방제 해충인 온실가루이, 진딧물 및 아메리카잎굴파리의 생물적 방제를 위해 사용되는 온실가루이좀벌, 콜레마니진디벌 및 굴파리좀벌 굴파리고치벌에 대한 친환경농자재 사용에 따른 영향을 조사하였다. 먼저 친환경농자재가 천적과 직접 접촉하였을 경우의 영향을 알아보기 위하여, 온실가루이좀벌의 머미에 분무하였을 경우, 61개 품목 중에서 살균성친환경농자재인 FEFAME (0.4%), 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재 G (2.7%)를 뿌린 경우에는 거의 우화하지 않았다. 또한, 성충에 미치는 잔효독성을 조사한 결과, 식물성추출물친환경농자재 J 와 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C는 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율이 0%였고, 미량요소함유친환경농자재인 EFAMME B (6.7%)., 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE H, 토양미생물친환경농자재인 EFAMSM H (13.3%), 살균성친찬경농자재인 FEFAM A와 D (20.0%) 등이 처리 48시간 후 생존율이 낮게 나타났다. 콜레마니진디벌의 경우 직접접촉에 대한 평가에서 머미에 분무하는 경우에는 대조구(물)조차도 22%의 낮은 우화율을 보이고 있으며, 성충에 대한 잔효효과의 경우에, 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C는 처리 48시간 후 0%의 생존율을 나타내었고, 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE J (6.7%), EFAMPE F 와 EFAMPE H, 토양미생물친환경농자재인 EFAMSM H (13.3%)등이 20% 이하의 낮은 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율을 나타내었다. 굴파리좀벌 굴파리고치벌의 경우에는 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE J가 처리 후 48시간 후 0%의 생존율를 나타내었고, 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C가 53.3%로 낮은 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율을 보였으며, 이외 친환경농자재에 대하여는 영향이 거의 없거나 낮은 것으로 나타나고 있다.

경주 양동마을의 외래식물 현황 (Status of Exotic Plant Species in Gyeongju Yangdong Village)

  • 경상북도 경주시에 위치한 양동마을은 중요민속문화재 제189호로 지정된 500년 역사의 한국의 전통마을이다. 최근 유네스코(UNESCO)의 세계유산인 양동마을은 보존 가치가 높아짐과 동시에 관광객의 증가에 따라 많은 위협을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 양동마을의 관속식물과 외래식물 및 귀화식물의 현황을 조사 분석하여 전통문화공간 관리체계의 부재를 인식하고 차후 외래 식물 관리보전방안 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 실시하였다. 관속식물상은 89과 227속 261종 1아종 5품종 26변종 총 293분류군이다. 외래식물은 53과 98속 104종 2품종 8변종 총 114분류군이다. 귀화식물은 15과 36속 37종 2변종 총 39분류군이다. 이에 따른 양동마을의 귀화율은 13.31%, 도시화지수는 13.64%이다. 양동마을의 전체 관속식물상 293분류군 중 외래식물은 114분류군으로 38.91%에 해당하는 높은 수치이다. 따라서 우리나라의 전통유산으로서 양동마을의 식물관리지침을 수립하고, 이에 따른 외래식물 유입 방지와 관리 및 식재계획을 세워야 하며, 주민을 대상으로 한 교육을 병행하는 것이 바람직하다.

우리 나라 기업의 환경성과평가 실태 연구 (An Empirical Survey on the Current Practices of Environmental Performance Evaluation in Korean Firms)

  • Environmental Performance Evaluation(EPE) is a key process of Corporate Environmental Management. This paper presents the results of an empirical survey on the status of current practices in EPE of Korean firms. Based on a corporate environmental management(CEM) model, which is initially developed by Hibbitt and Kamp-Roelands(2001) and modified in terms of EPE, the survey is peformed on the population of Korean firms, which are composed of firms certified as "environmentally friendly" by Korean government and/or certified under Is014001, and compares its results with those of Europe's. Although the relatively low response rate and some methodological limitations makes us be cautious about the interpretation, the results shows many interesting aspects of the current states of Korean firms' EPE practices. That is, the levels of EPE implementation in the environmentally-leading companies of Korea are almost the same as that of European companies, I. e., in the-final-part-of-developing-stage (3rd stage) level of the CEM model. It is also shown that as In Europe's case, Korean firms are also moving slower in external relationships than in internal control and management, are more developed in the parameters like environmental policy, Internal control, Information system, which are requirements of certification under Is014001, than in parameters like life cycle analysis and full cost accounting, which requires more research efforts, etc.orts, etc.
