  • The construction debris has been enormously increased since 90's because of a reconstruction and developing a new building site. Under the construction law, construction debris must legally recycle or reclaim at cost, but almost people have depended on reclamation of the illegal process to treat construction debris. Therefore, the environmental disruption and contamination have been begun the hot issue of society and in controversy with residents. With the consequence that indicates a substitute about an application of construction debris units is the most important thing for studying construction debris of quantity when the construction units are demolished. Nowadays, the area under the housing environment amelioration policies is getting rapidly old, then it is beyond anticipating reconstruction. Before construction units are demolished, generally three of four engineers investigate or predict the quantity of construction debris for two months. But this study is using the units of construction debris instead of the investigation and gets more precise data than investigation or prediction. In conclusion, the purpose of this study offers that units of construction debris can alternate the investigating of construction debris and curtail the expenses of labors and finances. Finally, those effects are going to make economical benefits covering the whole of the process of constructions.

  • Programming-in-the-Large refers to software development environment and includes the organization and representation of a system structure, module decomposition, component dependence analysis, seperate compilation, subsystem and composition identification. The most intricate problem in this environment is the mastery of the structural complexity of large software systems. Ada programming language is tailored to the needs for building of large, integrated software systems from many program units. The visibility graph generating model presented in this paper transforms Ada source program into a visibility graph with nodes for program units and edges for visibility relations among program units. The system description in terms of program units and their visibility relations produced by this model can be utilized for some apects of Programming-in-the-Large environment and also assists designeers, programmers, integrators and maintainers in defining, understanding and exploring the structure of evolving software systems. The model designed and implemented in Ada programming language runs on PCs and will remain useful both in practice and as experimental tool.

  • In the summer, the irradiated solar heat gain through the roof has an effect on the thermal environment of the top floor units of apartment houses. This paper investigated the differences of the indoor air temperature and thermal comfort index between the top floor unit and the middle floor unit by measuring them at the sample houses. The purpose of this paper is to provide quantitative data about the irradiated solar heat gain during the summertime through the roof of an apartment house and these data to be the source to reevaluate the appropriate roof insulation efficiency. From this study, we obtained the brief results as follows. Indoor air temperature at the top floor unit is $1.2\sim2.2^{\circ}C$ higher than that of middle floor unit. The evaluation of the indoor thermal comfort index at each sample rooms reveals notable thermal differences between the two units. Top floor units need more cooling load during the summertime compared to middle floor units. Therefore, solutions to reduce solar Heat gain at top floor units to be considered.
