본 논문은 하천 생태계서비스의 경제적 가치추정, 특히 수요 및 공급측면에서의 중요성 평가에 목적을 둔다. 지불의 사액(WTP)에 근거한 수요측면의 가치는 환경가치종합정보시스템(EVIS)으로부터 서비스 항목별 단위가치를 도출하고, 도출된 단위가치를 서비스 영향범위인 5대 대권역으로 합산하여 추정하였다. 단위가치 추정에는 진술선호법을 활용하여 추정한 가구당 지불의사액에 한정하였다. 합산결과, 하천 생태계가 제공하는 주요 조절서비스에 해당하는 물공급, 수질정화, 홍수조절 서비스의 연간 가치는 2010년 전국기준 5,012, 4,104, 2,424억 원으로 추정되었다. 공급측면의 가치는 생태계서비스 공급 및 관리에 직 간접적으로 관련 있는 공공부문 투자액(2013 세출결산액 기준)을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 총 투자액은 8조 8천억 원에 이르는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 중 공급서비스가 12.9%, 조절서비스가 81.3%, 지지서비스가 0.3%, 문화서비스가 5.3%를 차지하고 있는 것으로 추산되었다.

현재 여러 나라에서 생활 속에서 편리하게 자전거를 이용할 수 있도록 자전거 대여 서비스를 제공하며 접근성을 늘리고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 창원시 공공자전거 누비자 서비스를 소개하고 누비자 자전거의 수요와 공급의 불균형을 방지하기 위한 최우선 재배치 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 무작위로 터미널을 방문하여 재배치하는 알고리즘과 현재 위치에서 가장 짧은 거리에 있는 터미널을 방문하여 재배치하는 알고리즘을 제안한 방법과 비교하여 더 효율적임을 설명한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 최우선 재배치 방법은 주위 터미널 중 수요가 가장 높고 거리가 가장 짧은 터미널부터 방문한다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 제안한 최우선 재배치 방법이 트럭이 운행한 총 거리 평균 817.44km로 가장 낮은 비용을 보이고, 대여 성공 평균 횟수 6437.45회, 88.14%로 가장 높아 두 알고리즘보다 우수함을 보여준다.

The low load power factor causes various problems such as the increase of the power loss and the voltage instability. The demand of reactive power increases continuously with the growth of active power and the restructuring of electric power companies makes the integrated management of ractive power troublesome, from which the systematic control of load power factor is required. In this paper, the load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is derived and its effects in supplying the reactive power and enhancing the load power factor are analyzed in a small-scale power system. The load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is applied for determining the locations and capacities of reactive power compensation devices. It is shown that the generation cost can be reduced and the system power factor can be enhanced effectively using the load power factor sensitivity.

For competitive hotel business, the hotel must have a sound prediction capability to balance the demand and supply of hospitality products. To have a sound prediction capability in the hotel, it should be prepared to be equipped with a new technology such as quantum computing. The quantum computing is a brand new cutting-edge technology. It will change hotel business and even the whole world too. Therefore, we study the impact of quantum computing on supply chain management (SCM) and hotel performance. Toward the goal we have developed the research model including six constructs: quantum (computing) prediction, communication, supplier relationship, service quality, non-financial performance, and financial performance. The result of the study shows a significant influence of quantum (computing) prediction on hotel performance through the mediating role of SCM in the hotel. Quantum prediction is highly significant in enhancing the SCM in the hotel. However, the direct effect between the quantum prediction and hotel performance is not significant. The finding indicates that hotels which would install the quantum computing technology and utilize the quantum prediction could hugely benefit from the performance improvement.

Rapid social change in economy, society and information technology takes the initiative of changing office formation. It also requires new change in workspace function for the office workers. This research is about the change of office formation chronologically according to the change in economy, society and cultural diversity. The study also shows the directions for the workspace design considering the new demand and flow of the new office formation. Mobile Office, Virtual Office and Moduler Office are the new office formation. Also, the new workspace requires the common space where the workers can communicate diversely and share their knowledge and ideas, enhancing collaboration and productivity of the new workspace.

Various problems such as increase of power loss and voltage instability may often occur in the case of low load power factor. The demand of reactive power increases continuously with the growth of active power and restructuring of electric power companies makes the comprehensive management of reactive power a troublesome problem, so that the systematic control of load power factor is required. In this paper, the load power factor sensitivity of generation cost is derived and it is used for effectively determining the locations of reactive power compensation devices and for enhancing the load power factor appropriately. In addition, voltage variation penalty cost is introduced and integrated costs including voltage variation penalty cost are used for determining the value of load power factor from the point of view of economic investment and voltage regulation. It is shown through application to a large-scale power system that the load power factor can be enhanced effectively using the load power factor sensitivity and the integrated cost.

In the so-called “information society,”the information service function of public libraries is gaining an increasing importance. In order to meet the growing demand for educational information, the Korean government established the Center for Educational Multimedia Research and Development and opened in 1996 the EDUNET as a comprchensive educational information network. In this context, public libraries as social education institutions are expected to provide educational information services by utilizing the EDUNET information resources. The availability of EDUNET will even increase when the librarians assist users with systematic information search services, and digitalize printed materials in the library. For this purpose, it is necessary for them to accommodate new information technologies and, thereby, to raise the level of information services up to that of their users’needs by enhancing the librarians’expertise in helping users search information effectively. In this end, we suggest a financial decision be made to build an oversea educational information exchange system.

The importance of software industry is rapidly increasing with the growth of Internet and the advent of digital economy. The purpose of this study is to research the impact of the copyright protection for securing producers and enhancing of producing on social welfare. The Korean government reformed the copyright law to enhance the copyright protection in 2000 and intensely controlled software piracy in 2001. However, copyright protection has much controversy in aspects of hindering social use of software. This study compared and analyzed the general equilibrium and the copyright protection for social welfare maximization in two cases when network externality exists or not, by assuming the simple demand and supply functions.

Demand for new information services is ever increasing as information technology advances in an unprecedented pace. Capabilities of information technology to overcome the time and space limitations enables efficient storage and processing of a large volume of data shared by many users in geographically dispersed areas. As the users ask for more useful information services, it is necessary to develop information services tp meet the needs of users. Enhancing information services is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information service is also necessary to cope actively with the pressures to open the information and telecommunications market as the level of Korean information services industry is still in its infancy. Value Added Network(VAN) services have a tremendous growth potential and its economic and social impact would be great as the information society matures. This study suggests a direction for the development of value added and new-media services based on the survey of individual and business users of information services.
