Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in plasma and is the most often used intravenous protein in many human therapies. However, HSA is currently extracted only from plasma because commercially feasible recombinant expression systems are not available. This study attempted to develop an efficient system for recombinant HSA production by chloroplast transformation of tobacco. A HSA cDNA was isolated from a cDNA library constructed with human liver tissue. Chloroplast transformation vectors were constructed by introducing various regulatory elements to HSA regulatory sequences. Vectors were delivered by particle bombardment into leaf explants and chloroplast-transformed plants were subsequently regenerated into whole plants. Southern blot analysis confirmed that the HSA cDNA was incorporated between rps12 and orf70B of the chloroplast genome as designed. Western blot analysis revealed that hyper-expression and increasing the stability of HSA were achieved by modification of the regulatory sequences using the psbA5'UTRs in combination with elements of the 14 N-terminal amino acids of the GFP and the FLAG tag. However, only plants transformed with the vector containing all of these elements were able to accumulate HSA.

The placeness has been lost in space design since Modernism, especially Internationalism. Digital space design of today is one of the means to complement that. The purpose of this study is to grasp a trend in the expression of placeness, being appeared in digital space design process through case analysis. As the result of this study, the placeness in digital design process expressed by parametric elements had each effective internal algorithms. Especially, space design using digital process were expressed placeness by physical context such as topography, conditions of location, landscape, axis of road, traffic elements and climate. And social context were expressed by user experience through his cognition.

The aim of the present work was to examine the putative promoter region of the operon ansPAB and to determine the general elements required for the regulation of transcriptional activity. The transcriptional start site of the ansPAB promoter was determined by using highresolution S1-nuclease mapping. Sequence analysis of this region showed -10 and -35 elements, which were consistent with consensus sequences for R. etli promoters that are recognized by the major form of RNA polymerase containing the σ⁷⁰ transcription factor. Mutation studies affecting several regions located upstream of the transcriptional start site confirmed the importance of these elements on transcriptional expression.

Increasing demand for increasing higher data rate in order to solve computationally tasks timely and connecting many user equipment simultaneously have requested researchers to develop novel technology in the area of mobile communications. Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) have been enabling technologies for commercialization of the fifth generation (5G) networks and the sixth generation (6G) systems. In this paper, we investigate a bit-error rate (BER) analysis on IRS technologies for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems. First, we derive a BER expression for IRS-NOMA systems with Rician fading channels. Then, we validate the BER expression by Monte Carlo simulations, and show numerically that BER expressions are in good agreement with simulations. Moreover, we investigate the BER of IRS-NOMA systems with Rician fading channels for various numbers of IRS elements, and show that the BERs improve as the number of IRS elements increases.

Cytochrome P4501A2 (CYP1A2) is responsible for the metabolic activation of a number of aromatic amines and amides to mutagenic and carcinogenic moieties. Considerable variations in the level of CYP1A2 expression in humans have been reported. Thus, the level of human CYP1A2 may determine an individuals susceptibility to these chemicals. Given its importance, the molecular mechanisms of CYP1A2 regulation have been studied by many groups. Direct interactions between transcription factors with the promoters of the gene represent one of the primary means by which the expression of CYP1A2 is controlled. In this review, several important cis elements, transcription factors and the effects of deacetylation/methylation of promoter regions that play an important role in the induction by PAHs as well as constitutive expression of human CYP1A2 are discussed.

There are several way to classify the furniture. The furniture can be classified into use, style, and function, but if the furniture is classified into the way of production, it can be the industrial furniture and the studio furniture. Especially, technology and function of the furniture are important elements in industrial furniture. However, it could be considered artists' character and concept as more important elements in the studio furniture. The studio furniture had come out one of the historical movement in American furniture field after the World War II. This case to apply found objects began to increase after the 1970s. Using objects In furniture design field had built up sprightly after end of 1950s. This expression could be the statement of new expression that essential properties of matter in objects is removed. I try to suggest original and interesting furniture design to apply found objects in this thesis. Especially, I use the Korean traditional objects for the furniture and try to make their essential function to be changed. Also, I focus on furniture design to have formative element in their shapes.

Modern architecture tends to split the everyday life and the space of human. Position of architecture should be on the relationship between nature and human need. It will be study on the everyday life of architecture from architecture and everyday life of human relationships. Based on this study, it makes clear the visual aspects of architectural experience to acquire spatial tones for analyzing architectural Everyday-ness. In this case, Portugal's modern architectural space was impressing, because of the construction of local color and architectural vocabulary of the Everyday-ness. Therefore, the Everyday-ness of Architecture by relationship analysis reveals the space of these spatial tones. Spatial characteristics of the Everyday-ness of architecture be analyzed of simplicity, purity, locality, reminiscent, continuity, and transition, etc. Expression elements of spatial tones can be derived into five classes such as light, color, material, pattern (texture), and depth. In conclusion, spatial characteristics of the Everyday-ness and expression elements of spatial tones consist of configuration matrixes to analyze the spatial tones of the contemporary architecture in Portugal. As a result of this study, the expression characteristics of spatial tones of contemporary architecture in Portugal are background-ness, one-ness, and inherence. I hope this study will be applied to the basic data of the architectural Everyday-ness.

This research analyzed the importance and influence of color expression on psychological and emotional changes of visual perception in the creation of art works. This research takes the element of the sky in the works of Vincent William Van Gogh, a Dutch post-Impressionist representative painter, as the basic research objective to prove the influence of color expression of the same thing on the inner emotional communication of the creator. After synthesizing the contents of previous research and investigation on Van Gogh, this research will summarize the works containing sky elements in Van Gogh's works according to his four creative stages, and select representative works for color analysis and comparison. In this paper, by comparing the colors of the same elements of the sky, we can find Van Gogh's guidance of psychological and emotional changes through the expression of colors in his works, which will play a certain inspiring role in the creation of painting art.

A plasmid vector with combined features of yeast shuttle vector and mammalian expression vector was constructed to facilitate expression of cloned gene in both cell-types. All necessary elements required for plasmid maintenance and selection in E. coli, yeast and mammalian cells were size-economically arranged in this plasmid. The numan cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate early promoter and yeast GAL1 promoter were sequentially placed in front of the gene to be expressed. The synthetic splicing donor and acceptor sequences were inserted into the immediate upstream and downstream of the GAL1 promotor, allowing the CMV promotor to direct the expression of a given gene in mammalian cell environment by splicing out the interfering GAL1 promotor sequence. When the resulting vector containing LacZ as a gene was introduced into yeast and mammalian cells, both cells efficiently produced .betha.-galactosidase, dimonstrating its dual host usage.

In this study, outdoor advertising media, outdoor advertising is now through the case study to evaluate the characteristics of the media in the unexpectedness, in the process based on components derived extraordinariness configure Tetrad Map and extraordinariness factors of outdoor advertising media Analysis of the key elements to configure the user experience factor that has the purpose of identifying the characteristics extraordinariness. As a result of analysis of outdoor advertising media element to configure the Visual / Installation / Technology / Story of the most important factors acting Visual elements were found to be leveraging. Components, as well as factors was higher than the interest factor involved. So now with the development of outdoor advertising media, the unexpectedness expression appears in the flow, limited to the visual aspect of extraordinariness factors that could be seen being used. Characteristics of outdoor advertising media in the past did not deviate more as consumers look to stimulate the technical attributes of a visual form that could be seen to be extended.
