Synthesis and Properties of Dicyclohexyltin(IV) Complexes. Structure of $Cy_2Sn(S_2CNMe_2)_2 $

  • Dicyclohexyltin(IV) complexes $Cy_2SnX (X = O,\;S,\;(Me_2NCS_2)_2)$ have been prepared and characterized by means of elemental analysis, cryoscopic data, and IR spectroscopy. X-ray structure determination for $Cy_2Sn(S_2CNMe_2)_2$ (monoclinic; P2/c;a = 8.992(1), b = 6.688(1), c = 19.453(2) ${\AA},\;{\beta}$ = 96.556(7) ; R = 0.041) has shown that the molecule is $C_2$-symmetric with both dithiocarbamate ligands bonding in anisobidentate mode and the local geometry around the hexacoordinate Sn(IV) atom is a distorted octahedral arrangement with the two cyclohexyl groups in trans position. The physical and chemical properties measured suggest polymeric and trimeric structures for $Cy_2SnO\;and\;Cy_2SnS$, respectively.

어닐링처리한 Ni-50at%Al 압분체의 연소합성 거동 (Reaction Synthesis of Annealed Ni-50at%Al Powder Compact)

  • To reduce the heat released during intermetallic reaction, Ni-50at%Al powder compact has been previously annealed at several conditions before the reaction. The effects of the pre-annealing conditions on the reaction synthesis process have been investigated. Experimental results show that the heat released during the reaction synthesis decreased proportionally with increase of the pre-annealing temperature and duration time. The reaction duration period was significantly increased when the intermetallics were formed in the powder compact during the pre-annealing. This was attributed to the fact that the reaction occurred by solid-state diffusion between the un-reacted elemental atoms and that the $NiAl_3$ phase formed predominantly during pre-annealing.

Green flow injection spectrophotometric system for lead ion (II) evaluation in vegetables samples using new azo reagent

  • A new, sensitive, and reliable flow injection methodology was investigated for the determination of lead ion (II) in vegetables' samples using a laboratory-prepared reagent 2-[(6-methoxy-2-benzothiazoly)azo]-4-methoxy phenol (6-MBTAMP). Infrared spectroscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometry, Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Elemental Analysis (CHN), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy 1HNMR, and 13CNMR techniques were used to characterize the reagent and lead (II) complex. The method is based on lead ion (II) reacting with the reagent (6-MBTAMP) in a neutral solution to produce a green-red complex with a maximum absorbance at 670 nm. The optimum conditions, such as flow rate, lead ion (II) volume, reagent volume, medium pH, reagent concentration, and reaction coil length were thoroughly examined. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) were determined to be 0.621 mg·L-1 and 2.069 mg·L-1 , respectively, while Sandell's sensitivity was determined to be 0.345 ㎍·cm-2.

형광 X-선 스펙트럼의 잡음 특징 분석 (Noise Characteristic Analysis of X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrum)

  • 형광 X-선 스펙트럼을 분석 방법은 RoHS 성분 및 중금속 함량 분석 등 여러 분야에 응용이 가능하며 비교적 빠른 시간 안에 함량 분석 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 형광 X-선 스펙트럼에는 잡음 및 여러 요인이 포함되어 있어 분석 정확도를 떨어뜨린다. 본 논문에서는 여러 요인 중 잡음의 특징을 분석하여 형광 X-선 스펙트럼 분석의 정확도를 높이고자 한다. 형광 X-선 스펙트럼은 산탄잡음(푸아송 잡음)의 특징을 가지고 있으며, 따라서 작은 신호에서는 잡음의 크기가 상대적으로 크고, 큰 신호에서는 잡음의 크기가 상대적으로 작은 특징을 가지고 있다. 기존에 잡음을 분석하고 제거하는 방법 및 알고리즘은 이러한 특징을 반영하지 않은 일반적인 목적으로 사용되는 방법으로 일반적인 알고리즘을 사용하여 잡음을 제거하게 되면 왜곡된 결과를 얻게 된다. 정확한 잡음 분석을 기반으로 효율적인 잡음 제거 알고리즘을 설계할 수 있고, 또한 높은 정확도의 원소 함량 분석 결과를 기대할 수 있다.

소나무와 리기다소나무를 사용하여 제조한 목재펠릿의 품질 특성 비교 (Comparison of Quality Characteristics of Woodpellet Manufactured from Pinus densiflora S. et Z. and Pinus rigida Mill)

  • 목질 바이오매스 자원의 효율적 에너지화 방안의 일환으로 소나무와 리기다소나무를 목재펠릿으로 만들고, 그 특성을 조사하였다. 제조된 목재펠릿의 함수율, 발열량, 회분, 겉보기밀도, 내구성, 원소분석을 측정하여 비교하였다. 소나무와 리기다소나무 목재펠릿의 원소분석의 결과, 소나무는 61.42% (C), 수소 5.56% (H), 산소 32.87% (O) 그리고 0.15% (N)로 나타났으며, 리기다소나무는 61.03% (C), 수소 5.96% (H), 산소 32.83% (O) 그리고 0.18% (N)로 나타나 두 수종 간에 거의 차이가 없었다. 각 시료의 발열량은 약 19 MJ/kg로서 품질규격 1급((${\geq}18.0MJ/kg$)을 만족시켰다. 회분량의 경우 소나무가 0.50%, 리기다소나무가 0.53%로 양자 간의 차이가 거의 없었으며, 품질규격 1급(${\leq}0.7%$)을 만족시켰다. 겉보기 밀도는 소나무 펠릿의 경우 $648kg/m^3$으로 품질규격 1급(${\geq}640kg/m^3$)을 만족시켰으나, 리기다소나무의 경우 $622kg/m^3$으로 품질규격 2급(${\geq}600kg/m^3$)을 만족시켰다. 함수율의 경우 두 수종 모두 품질규격 1급(${\leq}10%$)를 만족시켰으며, 내구성의 경우 소나무 목재펠릿은 품질규격 3급(${\geq}95%$)를 만족시켰으나 리기다소나무 목재펠릿은 내구성 품질규격을 만족시키지 못하였다.

  • Aging characteristics of 13 years service-aged distribution cable terminations which dismounted from 3 regions were investigated by material characterization and electrical test. All dismounted terminations have propagating micro-cracks on the surface of weathershed and chalking fillers from bulk. Elemental analysis of these terminations showed that the carbon was decreased and the oxygen was increased on the surface of weathershed due to a little oxidation reaction. Contact angle of terminations was abnormally increased with time. In the analysis of anti-oxidation ability and chemical structure, there were no differences between new and dismounted terminations. All terminations showed satisfactory results in electrical test. Therefore, itcan be considered that aging is only propagating on the surface of dismounted terminations. Also, it was confirmed that environmental factors such as UV, pollution and salt have an effect on the aging through the observation of polymer composition change.

  • p-페닐렌 디아민과 maleic anhydride, 아세틸 아세톤과 커플된 O-아미노 페놀의 아조화합물으로 부터 폴리이미드가 만들어졌다. 합성된 폴리이미드(PA)는 DMF용매 속에 다른 몰비율로 녹아있는 $Co^{+2},\;Cr^{+2},\;Ni^{+2},\;Cu^{+2},\;Zn^{+2},\;Cd^{+2}$ and $Fe^{+3}$ 를 포함하는 전이금속이온들의 금속염들과 함께 환류되었다. 이 complex들은 원소분석과 열분석, IR, $^1H$ NMR으로 구조분석, 특성 연구되었다.

  • Schiff 리간드인 (Z)-N-((Z)-2-(sec-butylimino)-1,2-diphenylethylidene)butan-2-amine을 벤질과 sec-부틸아민과의 축합반응에 의해 합성하였다. 일 주기 전이금속인 망간(II) 및 니켈(II)과 리간드와의 착물반응을 시도하였다. 리간드 및 착물의 특성을 FTIR, 원소분석 및 열무게분석으로 고체 상태에서, 그리고 NMR ($^1H,\;^{13}C$)로 용액 상태에서의 각각 조사하였다. 두 착물 모두 온화한 조건에서 methylaluminoxane (MAO) 존재 하에 부타디엔 올리고화 반응의 조촉매로 좋은 촉매활성을 보였다.

Piaget 사고유형에 의한 4.6학년의 자연과 내용분석 (An Analysis of Contents of the Fourth & Sixth Grade in the Elementary Science Using Piagetian Thinking Patterns)

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze the fourth and sixth grade in the elemental)' science contents using piagetian thinking patterns. An analysis of the elementary Science contents used the systems of Han Jong-Ha(1977), Lee Won-Shic and Lee Sang-On(1979). They analyzed the science contents based on Piagets' cognitive developmental stages. According to the results of this study, science contents consist of more difficult concepts those of children's thinking level. In other words, 6.4-19.3 percent to 23.5-25.0 percent in the fourth and sixth grade of the science contents are consisted with abstract level concepts that formal operational children can perform. But each grade, 99.2-95.3 percent of children have a difficulty in understanding such a abstract level concepts. They are in the concrete operation thinking level. Therefore, we say that children have difficulty in understanding of science contents and may lose interest in the contents.

Development of Near-Critical Water Reaction System for Utilization of Lignin as Chemical Resources

  • Plant biomass has been proposed to be an alternative source for petroleum-based chemical compounds. Especially, phenolic chemical compounds can be obtained from lignin by chemical depolymerization processes because lignin consists of complex aromatic polymer such as trans-p-coumaryl, coniferyl and sinapyl alcohols, etc. Phenolic chemical compounds from lignin were usually produced in super critical water. However, we applied Near-critical water (NCW) system because NCW is known as a good solvent for lignin depolymerization. Organic matter like lignin can be solved in NCW system and the system has a unique acid-base property without conventional non-eco-friendly chemicals such as sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. In this work, we tried to optimize the NCW depolymerization system by adjusting the processing variables such as reaction time, temperature and pressure. Moreover, the amount of additional phenol was optimized by changing the molar ratio between water and phenol. Phenol was used as capping agent to prevent re-polymerization of active fragment such as formaldehyde. Alkali-lignin was used as a starting material and characterized by a Solid State 13C-NMR, FT-IR and EA (Elemental Analysis). GC-MS analysis confirmed that o-cresol, p-cresol, anisole and 4-hydroxyphathalic acid were the main product and they were quantitatively analyzed by HPLC.
