상압 플라즈마 표면처리를 통한 태양광모듈 커버글라스와 불소계 코팅의 응착력 향상 (Improved Adhesion of Solar Cell Cover Glass with Surface-Flourinated Coating Using Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Treatment)

  • We propose a method for improving the reliability of a solar cell by applying a fluorinated surface coating to protect the cell from the outdoor environment using an atmospheric pressure plasma (APP) treatment. An APP source is operated by radio frequency (RF) power, Ar gas, and $O_2gas$. APP treatment can remove organic contaminants from the surface and improve other surface properties such as the surface free energy. We determined the optimal APP parameters to maximize the surface free energy by using the dyne pen test. Then we used the scratch test in order to confirm the correlation between the APP parameters and the surface properties by measuring the surface free energy and adhesive characteristics of the coating. Consequently, an increase in the surface free energy of the cover glass caused an improvement in the adhesion between the coating layer and the cover glass. After treatment, adhesion between the coating and cover glass was improved by 35%.

  • 폴리머 기판위에서 ICP-RIE 방법을 이용하여 $O_2$ 플라즈마 전처리효과에 따른 GZO박막의 전기적, 광학적인 특성을 고찰 하였다. ICP-RIE 방법을 이용하여 폴리머 기판 위에 $O_2$ 플라즈마 전처리의 공정 값은 공정압력은 20 mTorr, 파워는 100 W로 하고 변수로는 시간을 60초 ~ 600초로 하였다. $O_2$ 플라즈마 전처리한 기판위에 RF Sputtering 방법을 이용하여 4인치의 GZO(ZnO: 95 wt%, $Ga_2O_3$: 5 wt%) 타겟을 사용하여 공정압력은 5 mTorr, 파워는 150 W, 박막의 두께는 500 nm의 조건으로 박막을 증착하였다. PET 기판의 600초의 $O_2$ 플라즈마 처리 후 증착한 GZO 박막의 비저항이 $6.2\times10^{-3}\;{\Omega}$-cm이었고, PEN 기판의 120초의 $O_2$ 플라즈마 처리 후 증착한 GZO 박막의 비저항이 $1.1\;{\times}\;10^{-3}\;{\Omega}$-cm이었다. 또한 300 nm 이하의 자외선 영역에서는 뛰어난 광 차단 효과를 가지고 있었으며, 가시광선 영역 (400 nm ~ 700 nm)에서 증착 된 시편들이 80 % 광 투과율을 나타내었다.

  • We studied the external pressure-stable advanced frnge field switching (FFS) pixel design with 3 slit sructue. In this mode, a patterned pixel slit is partitioned into 3 areas, namely, two edges and a center, where the edge slit angle is larger than the center slit angle. Thus the reverse twist region in the pixel edge is reduced comparing to the conventional FFS mode so that the LC dynamics in this region becomes very stable. And also, when the external pressure is applied to the panel at the high voltage, the disclination lines (DLs) were barely intruded into active area. Therefore, the structure is use for the pen based system such as the tablet personal computer (PC), personal digital asistant (PDA).

리튬 폴리머전지용 PVDF/PAN계 고분자 전해질의 이온 전도 특성 (Ion Conduction Properties of PVDF/PAN based Polymer Electrolyte for Lithium Polymer Battery)

  • The purpose of this study is to research and develop solid polymer electrolyte(SPE) for Li polymer battery. The temperature dependence of conductivity impedance spectroscopy and electrochemical properties of PDF/PAN electrolytes as a function of a mixed ratio were reported for PVDF/PAN based polymer electrolyte films which were prepared by thermal gellification method of preweighed PVDF/PAN plasticizer and Li salt. The conductivity of PVDF/PAN electrolytes was 10$\^$-3/S/cm. 20PVDF5PEN LiCiO$\_$4//PC$\_$10//EC$\_$10/ electrolyte has the better conductivity compared to others. 20PVDF5PANLICIO$\_$4//PC$\_$10//EC$\_$10/ electroylte remains stable up to 5V vs. Li/Li$\^$+/. Steady state current method and ac impedance were used for the determination of transference numbers in PVDF/PAN electrolyte film. The transference number of 20PVDF5PANLiCO$\^$4//PC$\_$10//EC$\_$10/ electrolyte is 0.48.

  • A facing target sputtering (FTS) equiment is fabricated and its process characteristics are investigated to search for the possibility of applications to film passivation system for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). We report that the FTS system can prepare a high quality $ZrO_2$ films with a dense micro structure and an excellent uniformity less than 5% and a high transmittance over an average 80% in the visible range. We suggest that the FTS is one of the suitable deposition techniques for the thin film passivation layer of OLEDs and the gas barrier layer of polymer substrate.

  • Off-line programming systems are widely spread in assembly lines of minute electronic products to huge offshore structures. Any OLP system has to be calibrated before the on-line robot tasks are performed because there are inherent differences between the CAD model on OLP and the real robot workspace. This paper uses simple geometric expressions to propose a calibration method applicable to an OLP for SCARA robots. A positioning task on the two-dimensional horizontal surface was used in the error analysis of a SCARA robot and the anaysis shows that the inaccuracy results from the two error sources non-zero offset angles of two rotational joints at the zero return and differences in link lengths. Pen marks on a sheet of plotting paper are used to determine the accurate data on the joint centers and link dimensions. The calculated offset angles and link lengths are fed back to the OLP for the calibration of the CAD model of the robot and task environments.

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트폰에서 사용 가능한 동적서명 인증기술의 사용자 인터페이스와 알고리즘을 제안하고, 제안된 시스템의 성능을 기술하였다. 개인 서명의 모양, 쓰는 속도, 기울기, 획수와 획순서 등의 정보를 활용함으로써 인증 여부를 결정하게 되며, 컴퓨터와 무선인터 넷이 발달하고 관련 산업이 급성장함에 따라서 폭 넓은 산업 분야에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

Effects of Outdoor Housing of Piglets on Behavior, Stress Reaction and Meat Characteristics

  • Well-designed housing systems are important from the viewpoint of animal welfare and improvement of meat production. In this study, we investigated the effects of outdoor housing of pigs on their behavior, cortisol levels, and meat characteristics. Two groups that were born and raised in a spacious outdoor pen ($4{\times}10$ m for every two sows) or a minimum-sized standard pen in a piggery ($1.9{\times}2.2$ m for every sow) were studied. When their behaviors at the age of 2 to 3 wk were observed, the number of rooting episodes tended to be larger (p = 0.0509) and the total time of rooting tended to be longer (p = 0.0640) in the outdoor-housed piglets although the difference was not significant. Basal salivary cortisol levels of the outdoor piglets at the age of 4 wk were significantly lower than those of the indoor piglets ($5.0{\pm}0.59$ ng/ml vs. $11.6{\pm}0.91$ ng/ml, 30 min after treatment), although their plasma cortisol levels were similar ($53.3{\pm}3.54$ ng/ml vs. $59.9{\pm}4.84$ ng/ml, 30 min after treatment). When the ears were pierced at weaning, plasma and salivary cortisol levels were increased in both groups, even at 15 min after piercing. However, the increase in the outdoor-housed group was significantly less than that in the indoor-housed group. Throughout their lives, body weight and daily gain of the pigs were not significantly different between the two groups. In a meat taste preference test taken by 20 panelists, saltiness, flavor, and color of the outdoor-housed pork were found to be more acceptable. Moreover, when an electronic taste-sensing device was utilized, the C00 and CPA-C00 outputs ($3.78{\pm}0.07$ and $-0.20{\pm}0.023$), which correspond to compounds of bitterness and smells, respectively, were significantly lower in the outdoor-housed pork ($5.03{\pm}0.16$ and $-0.13{\pm}0.009$). Our results demonstrate that the outdoor housing system for piglets induces natural behaviors such as rooting and suppresses the strongest stress reaction of piglets, which could be important for animal welfare. Moreover, the outdoor housing system might change muscle characteristics and improve pork bitterness, flavor, and color. These changes may be preferred by consumers, increasing the sale of these meats.

PDA상에서의 한글 필기체 매칭 알고리즘 (A Hangul Script Matching Algorithm for PDA)

  • 전자 잉크 데이터는 펜 기반 컴퓨터나 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)등에서 자연스럽고 편리한 데이터 입력을 제공하기 위해 펜으로 입력한 데이터를 온라인 문자 인식기를 이용하여 아스키 문자로 변환하지 않고 스크립트 형태로 저장하는 데이터를 말한다. 전자 잉크 데이터를 사용하기 위해 가장 중요한 것 중 하나는 전자 잉크 데이터의 검색 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 전자 잉크 데이터를 획 특징 벡터 형태로 저장하고, 이를 이용해서 잉크 데이터를 검색하는 매칭 알고리즘을 제안하고 구현하였다. 제안된 매칭 알고리즘은 입력된 데이터를 곡률(curvature)을 이용하여 기본획(primitive stroke)으로 분리하고 기본획의 종류를 결정한 다음 획 특징 벡터를 생성한다. 그리고 동적 프로그래밍 기법에 의해 획 특징 벡터의 거리값을 계산한다. 제안된 매칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 다양한 실험을 하였으며 한글 스크립트로 구성된 경우 97.7%이상의 매칭률을 보여 주었고 한글 및 한자 흔합 스크립트에서는 94%이상의 매칭률을 보여 주였다.

2D 출력물 비교를 위한 PLC와 아두이노 CNC 제어 (PLC and Arduino CNC Control for Comparison of 2D Outputs)

  • 3D 프린터의 시장 규모가 증가되는 시점에서 출력물에 대한 정밀도와 모터에 의한 작업속도는 매우 중요한 사항 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 PLC 장비와 아두이노 CNC의 동일 출력물 비교를 위해서 CURA 프로그램을 이용하여 동일 출력물의 G-code를 생성하였으며, NC File로 변환 후, 각각의 장비에 펜을 부착하여 A4 용지에 특정 결과물을 출력하였다. 그 결과, 출력 시간이 PLC 장비의 경우 1m 39s, 아두이노 CNC의 경우 2m 5s로 측정되었으며 2D 출력물이 두 장비에서 동일하게 출력되는 것을 확인하였다.
