It requires a lot of costs and manpower to manage the election system. The electronic voting scheme is needed to make the election system to be economic and fair. Especially, wide spread use of smart phones and wireless networks makes the mobile voting is of major concern. In mobile voting scheme, a smart phone user can vote regardless of the places. In this paper, the mobile voting scheme is proposed where candidates can guarantee fairness of the election system. We analyze mobile voting requirements and create the mobile ID which has legal binding forces and PKI based digital signature keys. In the proposed scheme, a voter's ballot is signed by all candidates using undeniable multi-signature scheme. During the counting stage, the multi-signature on the ballot is not verified without help of all candidates.

Recently, it has been increasing attention on health care that can provide remote medical service to an aging population, people with disabilities and people having a medical checkup periodically due to increasing people's average life span. Home health care system should provide reasonable cost, on-line basic health status monitoring, embedded basic medical helper function and intuitive interface. In this paper, we developed a prototype of 3G networked pulse measurement system that can detect pulse signal information from subject's fingertip using the optical sensor. The prototype had been analyzed in terms of abnormalities, feeling, timing and pulse counting accuracy. Finally we evaluated its suitability.

Recently Usage statistics are widely available from online content providers. However. the statistics are not yet available in a consistent data container and the administrative cost of individual provider-by-provider downloads is high. The Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) is developing an automated request and response protocol for moving Project COUNTER (Counting Online Usage of Networked Electronic Resources) Code of Practice usage statistics from providers to library electronic repositories. SUSHI will help libraries make better decisions by reducing the administrative overhead of using Project COUNTER statistics. Publishers in the recording and exchange of usage statistics for electronic resources, initially journals and databases. By following COUNTER's Code of Practice, vendors can provide library customers with Excel or CSV (comma delimited) files of usage data using COUNTER's standardized formats and data elements. The result is a consistent, credible, and compatible set of usage data from multiple content providers. On this study, We propose the acquisition model of usage data based on SUSHI for KESLI that is overseas electronic journal consortium in korea.

The number of pedestrians is considered essential information which can be used to control a person who makes a entrance or a exit into a building. The number of pedestrians, also, can be used to help to manage pedestrian traffic and the volume of pedestrian flow within the building. Due to the fact there is incorrect detection by occluded, shadows, and illumination, however, difficulty can arise in existing system which is for detection and counts of a person who makes a entrance or a exit into a building. In this paper, it is minimized that the change of illumination and the effect of shadow through the transmitted image from camera which is created and processed with great adaptability. The accuracy of the calculations can be increase as well by using Kalman Filter and Mean-Shift Algorithm in order to avoid overlapped counts. As a result of the test, it is proved that the count method that shows the accuracy of 95.4% should be effective for detection and counts.

Unlike traditional delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters, incremental analog-to-digital converters enable 1:1 mapping of input and output through a reset operation, which can be used very easily for multiplexing. Incremental analog-to-digital converters also allow for simpler digital filter designs compared to traditional delta-sigma converters. Therefore, starting with analysis in the time domain of the delayed integrator and non-delayed integrator, which are the basic blocks of analog-to-digital converter design, the design equations of a second-order input feed-forward, extended counting, 2+1 MASH (Multi-stAge-noise-SHaping), 2+2 MASH incremental analog-to-digital converter are derived in this paper. This allows not only prediction of the performance of the incremental analog-to-digital converter before design, but also the design of a digital filter suitable for each analog-to-digital converter. In addition, extended counting and MASH design techniques were proposed to improve the accuracy of analog-to-digital converters.
In case of a dangerous situation, the roof, which serves as an emergency exit, must be open in case of fire according to the Fire Act. However, when the roof door is opened, it has become a place of various incidents and accidents such as illegal entry, crime, and suicide. As a result, it is a reality to close the roof door in terms of facility management to prevent crime, various incidents, and accidents. Accordingly, the government is pushing to legislate regulations on housing construction standards, etc. that mandate the installation of electronic automatic opening and closing devices on rooftop doors. Therefore, in this paper, an intelligent emergency door opening/closing device system is proposed. To this end, an intelligent emergency door opening and closing system was developed by linking wired and wireless access counting and AI image analysis. Finally, it is possible to build a wireless communication-based integrated management platform that provides remote control and history management in a centralized method of device status real-time monitoring and event alarm.

We consider a distributed estimation where many nodes remotely placed at known locations collect the measurements of the parameter of interest, quantize these measurements, and transmit the quantized data to a fusion node; this fusion node performs the parameter estimation. Noting that quantizers at nodes should operate in a non-regular framework where multiple codewords or quantization partitions can be mapped from a single measurement to improve the system performance, we propose a low-weight estimation algorithm that finds the most feasible combination of codewords. This combination is found by computing the weighted sum of the possible combinations whose weights are obtained by counting their occurrence in a learning process. Otherwise, tremendous complexity will be inevitable due to multiple codewords or partitions interpreted from non-regular quantized data. We conduct extensive experiments to demonstrate that the proposed algorithm provides a statistically significant performance gain with low complexity as compared to typical estimation techniques.
This paper deals with the surge counter drived by lightning and switching currents. In order to install the effective surge protective devices, it is important to find the parameters of incident surges. In this paper, for the purpose of protecting the electronic circuits and counting the occuring frequency, the current driving type surge counter is designed and fabricated. The surge counter consists of surge protective divices, current detector, metal oxide varistor(MOV), rectifier, capacitor, and electromagnetic counter. This surge counter is able to count the occuring frequency of surges and to clamp lightning surge current. To evaluate the performance of the surge counter, impulse voltage and current were applied at the surge counter by the surge generator. As a result, applied surges were exactly counted and clamped.

Electronic voting machines (EVMs) are replacing research ballots due to the errors involved in the manual counting process and the lengthy time required to count the votes. Even though these digital recording electronic systems are advancements, they are vulnerable to tampering and electoral fraud. The suspected vulnerabilities in EVMs are the possibility of tampering with the EVM's memory chip or replacing it with a fake one, their simplicity, which allows them to be tampered with without requiring much skill, and the possibility of double voting. The vote data is shared among all network devices, and peer-to-peer verification is performed to ensure the vote data's authenticity. To successfully tamper with the system, all of the data stored in the nodes must be changed. This improves the proposed system's efficiency and dependability. Elections and voting are fundamental components of a democratic system. Various attempts have been made to make modern elections more flexible by utilizing digital technologies. The fundamental characteristics of free and fair elections are intractability, immutability, transparency, and the privacy of the actors involved. This corresponds to a few of the many characteristics of blockchain-like decentralized ownership, such as chain immutability, anonymity, and distributed ledger. This working research attempts to conduct a comparative analysis of various blockchain technologies in development and propose a 'Blockchain-based Electronic Voting System' solution by weighing these technologies based on the need for the proposed solution. The primary goal of this research is to present a robust blockchain-based election mechanism that is not only reliable but also adaptable to current needs.
