In order to care about preserving the environment for future generations, each country has been required to make the laws of the environment. So manufacturers must design, manufacture and sell goods that meet customer's need and must do this while meeting the needs of the environment. In this research we have developed product structure and configuration management system that treats electronic catalogs for recycling of train parts. This research focused on two system. One is JAVA-based electronic catalog that give the information about recycling of train parts. The other is product structure and configuration management system based on electronic catalog and Bill of Materials(B.O.M)

본 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 전자자원 메타데이터와 관련된 현황을 살펴보고, 정보조직 패러다임 및 목록 환경의 변화에 대응하기 위한 방향성을 제시하기 위함이다. 국내 대학도서관의 전자자원 도입 및 조직과 최근 정보자원 조직의 동향을 살펴보았고, 디지털콘텐츠 구축 건수 상위 30개 대학도서관의 홈페이지를 방문하여 현황과 문제점을 조사하였다. 앞으로 전자자원을 포함한 다양한 유형의 정보자원을 통합적으로 관리하고, 접근성을 강화하여 이용자들에게 확장된 목록의 기능을 제공하여야 할 것이다.

In the catalogs that have presently been under research, the product information cannot be represented in a classified form but it also fails to be well defined, lacking the description of detail information for various products on a systematic fashion. And the product information is duplicated on its representation. In this study, an implementing model is to be proposed to analyze and classify the information that can be in use of describing various products, and to describe an integrated products information for various types of products while making up for the weak points of presently available researches. Also, this study shows that it is possible for the proposed model to represent various units of product information with presently proposed model applied to computers and book products in high demand of transaction, and by implementing electronic catalogues in the existing researches to prove its efficiency.

One of the important applications for business-to-business electronic commerce is in procurement and inventory management using electronic data interchange(EDI). Using online catalogs and approved supplier lists, firms can easily create requisitions and purchasing documents. The emerging trend in EDI technology is changed from VAN(Value Added Network) based EDI to XML based EDI. This paper intends to suggest a component-based XML/EDI system using Unified Modeling Language(UML), as an application system for automobile part industry. Applying component based XML/EDI systems designed with UML methodology, we analyzed the workflow and the document on procurement process between trading partners and implemented a prototype of efficient XML/EDI system, as a surrogate of existing VAN/EDI. The result of applying object-oriented CBD(Component Based Development) technique is to minimize the risk of life cycle and facilitate the reuse of software as mentioned to limitation of information engineering methodology. It enables the interoperability with corporate legacy systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM(Supply Chain Management). This system proposes a solution to apply analysis phase and design phase in implementation of XML/EDI system. The implementation of XML/EDI system using CBD shows the ease of use in software reuse and the interoperability with corporate internal information system. The purchasing department with XML/EDI system can electronically communicate purchase orders, delivery schedules to external suppliers and interoperate with other application systems.

전자 카탈로그는 시장 참여자들이 제공하는 상품과 서비스에 대한 정보를 가지고 있으며 결과적으로 전자 상거래의 근간을 형성하고 있다. 카탈로그의 관리는 여러 가지 요소에 의해 복잡해지는데, 상품 분류는 이들의 핵심 요소이다. 분류 계층 구조는 지출 분석, 관세 규제의 실행, 상품의 식별 등을 위해 활용된다. 이와 같이 상품 분류 체계는 상품 데이타베이스의 설계에 토대가 되고, 상품 정보의 활용 및 관리의 거의 모든 면에서 중심적 역할을 한다. 그러나, 데이타 모형, 연산, 의미론 등의 측면에서 상품 분류에 대한 형식적인 연구는 거의 없었다. 분류에 관한 논리적 모형의 부재는 분류에 대해서뿐만 아니라 일반적인 상품 데이타베이스에 대해서도 비일관성 및 비융통성 등 많은 문제를 야기시킨다. 상품 정보의 효율적이고 편리한 활용을 위해 각 사용자의 관점에 따른 다양한 뷰를 제공할 필요가 있다. 새로운 상품이 출현하고 기존 상품이 사라짐에 따라 분류체계도 이에 따라 일관성을 유지하면서 변경 및 진화해야 한다. 또한 이질적인 다른 분류체계와 매핑되거나 병합될 필요가 있으며, 이 때 정보의 손실을 줄이는 것이 중요하다. 이들 요구사항에 대해, 분류체계는 제한된 시간 및 비용 내에서 수용할 수 있도록 충분히 동적이어야 한다. 그러나, UNSPSC 및 eClass와 같이 현재 널리 사용중인 분류체계는 이러한 동적인 특성에 대한 요구사항을 만족시키지 못한다. 이 논문에서 우리는 상품 분류 체계의 의미를 이해하고, 기존의 분류 체계의 이면에 있는 의미를 포획하여 표현할 수 있는 방법으로 의미적 분류 모형을 제시하고자 한다. 상품 정의는 재료, 시간, 장소 등의 속성과 무결성 조건과 같은 많은 의미를 지니고 있다. 상품 데이타베이스의 동적 특성 및 이에 대한 기존코드 기반 분류 체계의 한계점을 분석하고, 제안된 의미적 분류 모형이 상품 데이타베이스의 동적 특성에 관한 요구사항을 만족시킨다는 것을 설명한다. 이 모형은 상품 클래스를 명시적이고 형식적으로 정의할 수 있는 수단을 제공하며, 상품 클래스간의 관계를 그래프로 구성한다. 이 모형은 분류 체계의 매핑을 용이하게 하며, 선행 연구에 의해 제기된 요구 사항 및 문제를 해결한다고 믿는다.

Product catalog information is the most important factor to make customers purchase the product for various B2B or B2C businesses provided on the Internet. As catalog information differs from company by company, it cannot provide common criteria standard to customers to make decisions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a platform independent system, which integrates incompatible data from each company' catalogs and manages its database. This paper describes the integrated E-catalog system made up DB module, catalog management module, and interface module. This system allows customers to view standardized product catalog information from different companies with real -time updates, and also provides extensibility, flexibility, and interoperability for the effective E-Business management.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 구매자가 효과적으로 상품을 검색할 수 있는 상품 검색 지원 에이전트를 설계하고 구현하였다. 기존 쇼핑몰에서의 전자 카탈로그는 주제별 또는 검색어에 의한 상품 정보를 제공하거나 상품구매 이력에 관한 구매 정보를 구매자에게 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 보다 효과적인 구매 정보를 제공하기 위해 기존 구매자의 탐색 패턴을 분석하여 이를 근거로 하여 구매하려는 상품과 관련된 상품 정보를 제시해 주는 상품 검색 지원 에이전트를 개발하였다. 따라서 구매자는 구매하려는 상품과 관련된 정보를 보다 효과적으로 얻을 수 있어 효율적인 쇼핑을 즐길 수 있을 것이다.

B2B의 전자상거래의 발달로 상품 정보를 효과적으로 표현하고, 이러한 정보를 회사들간에 교환하기 위한 디지털 카탈로그는 점차 그 중요성이 인식되고 있다. 본 논문은 상품들을 통합하여 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 통합 상품 표현 모델을 참조하고, 이 모델을 Oracle 8i에서 제공하는 XDK(XML Development Kit)를 사용하여 구현한다. 먼저, 상품 표현 모델을 XML DTD로 표현하고, 이 DTD로 표현된 KML상품 정보를 효과적으로 Oracle 8i에 데이터베이스에 저장하고 검색하는 시스템을 구축한다. 마지막으로, 구축된 시스템에 대한 실행 예제를 보여준다.

Until recently, there have been fundamental changes in many fields of industries. Especially, the mass-production is being changed into mass-customization. In order to construct a 3D e-catalog system far the utilization of mass-customization, there are several matters to consider. Setting realistic 3D image should be effective fur providing the customers with the product information with reality and raising their interest. This study explains the whole process to convert CAD data formed from the production activities into VRML data used in virtual reality environment. Examples are given and discussed to validate the proposed activity.
