Ni-Zn-Fe$_2$O$_4$의 조성비에 따른 전파흡수 특성과 미세구조에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electromagnetic Wave Absorption Properties and Microstructure for the Composition Ratio of Ni-Zn-Fe$_2$O$_4$)

  • This paper is a study on electromagnetic wave absorption properties for the composition ratio of Ni-Zn-Fe$_2$O$_4$. Li-Zn-Fe$_2$O$_4$was composed of Fe$_2$O$_3$ 48∼51mo1%, LiO 18 ∼22mo1%, ZnO 34∼27mo1%. and sintering was carried out at 1200$^{\circ}C$. Through the experiments, the resonance phenomenon occured at low frequence range for high permeability, and vice versa. Specialy, In the case of Fe$_2$O$_3$49mol%, NiO 20mo1%, ZnO 3lmol% ,and the matching thickness was 10mm , the absorbing bandwith was 0.35 ∼0.95GHz. Also, In the case of Fe$_2$O$_3$51mo1%. NiO 22mo1%, ZnO 27mol%, we could get the absorbing bandwith of 0.45∼1.2GHz when the matching thickness was 6mm. Therefore. it is proved that electromagnetic wave absorbers with the above bandwidth range can be fabricated successful1y.

A Study on Development of the EM Wave Absorber for ETC System

  • In this paper, the EM wave absorber was designed and fabricated for countermeasure against EMI from a ceiling of a tollgate in ETC system. We fabricated several samples in different composition ratios of MnZn-ferrite, Carbon, and CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene). Absorption abilities were simulated in accordance with different thicknesses of the prepared absorbers and changed complex relative permittivity and permeability according to composition ratio. The optimized mixing ratio of MnZn-ferrite, Carbon, and CPE was found as 40:15:45 wt.% by experiments and simulation. Then the EM wave absorber was fabricated and tested using the simulated data. As a result, the developed EM wave absorber has the thickness of 3.3 mm and absorption ability was more than 20 dB in the case of normal incidence and more than 11 dB for the incident angle from 15 to 45 degrees at 5.8 GHz. Therefore, it was confirmed that the newly developed absorber can be used for ETC system.

  • 본 논문에서 는 Sendust와 $Al(OH)_3$를 이용하여 전파 흡수체를 제작하였으며, 지지재로는 CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene)를 이용하였다. 주 재료인 Sendust에 $Al(OH)_3$를 0 wt.%, 3 wt.%, 5 wt.%, 7 wt.%만큼 혼합하여 그 특성을 파악하였다. 그 결과 $Al(OH)_3$의 양이 5 wt.%일 때 전파 흡수 특성이 가장 향상되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이 특성을 이용하여 적층형 전파 흡수체를 만들었으며, 두께 2 mm인 전파 흡수체가 무선 LAN사용 주파수인 2.4 GHz에서 전파 흡수능 18.5 dB의 특성을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated the Electro-Magnetic (EM) wave absorber for wireless LAN by using Amorphous and CPE. The material constants and the absorption properties were measured for the samples containing 50 %, 60 %, and 70 % weight fraction of Amorphous. Moreover, the EM wave absorption abilities were simulated for the EM absorbers in different thicknesses by adopting the measured permittivity and permeability, and then the EM wave absorber was fabricated based on the simulated design values. As a result, the EM wave absorber with the composition ratio in Amorphous : CPE = 60 : 40 wt.% with the thickness of 4 mm has the absorption ability more than 35 dB at 2.4 GHz. Thus, it is expected the wireless LAN environment can be improved by using the developed absorber.

  • 이미 세계 여러나라는 핸드폰 전자파의 위험성을 경고하며 조치를 실시하여왔다. 반면 우리나라는 휴대폰 사용으로 인한 문제보다 학생들조차 핸드폰을 사용하지 못하게 하면 인권침해라고 항의하는 분위기이다. 인간의 뇌세포도 핸드폰 전자파에 더 많이 노출되고 있어 인체의 유해가능성에 대해 세계 여러나라에서 연구하고 있으며 최근의 연구한 발표결과들은 강력히 경고하고 있다. 현재 국내의 전자파 등급표시로는 국민에게 경각심을 불러일으키기에는 너무나 부족하다. IT 강국이라는 명성에 발맞추어 국립 전자파연구센터를 조직·운영하고 일반대중에게 핸드폰 전자파의 유해성을 경고하고 업계에 직접적인 의무를 부과할 수 있는 전파법제의 개정이 필요하다고 생각된다.

광대역 레이다 흡수용 W-type 육방정 페라이트-에폭시 복합 소재 (W-type hexaferrite-epoxy composites for wide-band radar absorption)

  • 본 연구에서는 SrZn2-xCoxFe16O27 화학식을 갖는 육방정 구조의 페라이트 분말을 고상법으로 합성하고 Co-Zn 함량 변화에 따른 전자기파 흡수 특성을 0.1-18 GHz의 주파수 범위와 0 ~ 10 mm 흡수체 두께 범위에서 평가하였다. 흡수체 두께에 따른 전자기파 흡수 특성은 고주파 복소 투자율과 유전율 측정 data로부터 전송선 이론을 기반으로 계산을 통해 반사손실 (RL)을 도출하였으며, 일부 시료에 대해서는 RL 실측정을 통해 계산된 결과와 잘 맞는 것을 보였다. Co의 치환량 (x)에 따라 고주파 복소 투자율 특성이 변화하였으며 이에 따라 전자기파 흡수 주파수 대역의 조절이 가능하였다. 또한 x = 1.0, 1.25, 1.5 시료에서는 매우 우수한 최대 전자기파 흡수 특성 (RL = -70 ~ -50 dB )을 보이며, 90% 이상의 전자기파 에너지를 흡수 (RL ≤ -10 dB) 하는 주파수 밴드 폭 또한 10 GHz 이상으로 광대역 레이다 흡수가 가능함을 보였다.

EM Wave Absorbers with Au Coated Conductive Sheets

  • In this study, EM wave absorbers based on Au coated conductive sheets were prepared, and their reflection and transmission coefficients were investigated. An Au coated conductive sheet showed the transmission loss higher than 40 dB in $1{\sim}18$ GHz. Ba ferrite EM wave absorbers with an Au coated conductive sheet showed enhanced EM wave absorption and shield to compare with Ba ferrite EM wave absorbers without conductive sheets. Proposed EM wave absorbers with conductive sheets are useful to protect EM machines from EM interference by strayfields.

Synthesis and electromagnetic properties of FeNi alloy nanofibers using an electrospinning method

  • FeNi alloy nanofibers have been prepared by an electrospinning process followed by air-calcination and H2 reduction to develop electromagnetic (EM) wave absorbers in the giga-hertz (GHz) frequency range. The thermal behavior and phase and morphology evolution in the synthetic processes were systematically investigated. Through the heat treatments of calcination and H2 reduction, as-spun PVP/FeNi precursor nanofiber has been stepwise transformed into nickel iron oxide and FeNi phases but the fibrous shape was maintained perfectly. The FeNi alloy nanofiber had the high aspect ratio and the average diameter of approximately 190 nm and primarily composed of FeNi nanocrystals with an average diameter of ~60 nm. The FeNi alloy nanofibers could be used for excellent EM wave absorbing materials in the GHz frequency range because the power loss of the FeNi nanofibers increased up to 20 GHz without a degradation and exhibited the superior EM wave absorption properties compared to commercial FeNi nanoparticles.

Mechanism to shield the electromagnetic wave interference in the carbon coils composites

  • The electromagnetic wave shielding properties of the carbon coils with polyurethane composites were investigated in the frequency range of 0.25 ~ 1.5 GHz. The shielding effectiveness of the composite having the various-shaped carbon coils were measured and discussed according to the weight percent of the carbon coils in the composites with the thickness of the composites layers. We confirmed that the absorption was the main mechanism to shield the electromagnetic wave interference in the carbon coils composites.

  • In this experimentation, we investigated the characteristics of electromagnetic wave absorption of ferroxplana powder and silicone rubber composite. Ferroxplana was prepared by flux method at low temperature. The crystallization, magnetic properties and particle morphology of the obtained ferroxplana powder were investigated by using XRD, VSM and SEM. The particle size of ferroxplana powder was 2∼4$\mu\textrm{m}$ at the ratio of R=26, The coercivity and saturation magnetization of ferroxplana powder increased slightly with increase of temperature, The magnetic loss was the main factor of electromagnetic wave absorption of ferroxplana powder and silicone rubber composite, The maximum reflection loss of composite was about -l5dB below 4GHz.
