Analysis and Optimal Design of Optical Pickup Actuator by 3D-EMCN Method (3D-EMCN법을 이용한 광 픽업 액츄에이터의 해석 및 최적설계)

  • An optical pickup actuator is an objective-lens-moving mechanism that provides a means to follow the disk displacement accurately(1). In this paper, a slim type optical pickup actuator for Notebook PCs is analyzed and designed to improve the driving sensitivity A three dimensional equivalent magnetic circuit network method (3D-EMCN method) is proposed for an analysis method which provides better characteristics in both precision and computation time of analysis comparing with a commercial three-dimensional finite element (3D-FEM) codes. To verify the validity of proposed method, we made a comparison between the analysis results and the experimental ones. We also compared this analysis results with 3D-FEM results. Among the several optimal algorithm, we adopt a niching genetic algorithm, which renders a set of the multiple optimal solutions. RCS (Restricted Competition Selection) niching genetic algorithm is used for optimal design of the actuator's performance. Recently, the pickup actuator needs additional driving structure for radial and tangential tilting motion to obtain better pick-up performance. So we applied the proposed method to the model containing tilting coils.

  • The microwave dielectric properties and their related structural characteristics in solid solutions of (1-x) $Ba(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ -x $La(Mg_{2/3}Nb_{1/3})O_3$ (BLMN) have been investigated by measuring the dielectric constant${\varepsilon}r)$, Q value and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency$({\tau}f)$ and by observing the crystal structure using high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Microwave dielectric properties showed characteristic features for specific composition. Dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}r)$ showed maximum value at the composition which corresponds to the phase boundary between 1:2 ordered and 1:1 ordered structure. The increase in ${\varepsilon}_r$ may be caused by the rattling of ions by incorporating smaller ions and the disordered structure. The variation of temperature coefficient of resonant frequency${{\tau}_f)$ was investigated in terms of oxygen octahedra tilting.

  • The structural changes and the dielectric properties of $(Ba_{1-x}Ca_x)(Mg_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$ (x=0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1) were investigated. The densities of samples were gradually decreased with increasing x, (BMT=7.69, CMT=5.25 $g/cm^3$). The crystal structure of BMT was a untiltied perovskite structure, however BCMT showed antiphase tilting and antiphase-inphase tilting structure. The dielectric constant($\varepsilon_r$) of the highest value was 33 at x=0.2 (BMT=24, CMT=17). The maximum quality factor was 27,500GHz in BMT. The quality factor· of BCMT was decreased to x<0.2 (5,000GHz), and was gradually increased to x>0.2. The temperature coefficients of dielectric constant was positive at x<0.8, and negative in CMT.

  • fMRI, functional MRI introduced recently appears based on the gradient echo technique which is sensitive to the field inhomogeneity developed due to the local susceptibility changes of blood oxygenation and deoxygenation. Common to all the gradient echo techniques is that the signal due to the susceptibility effects is generally decreased with increasing inhomogeneity due to the $T2^*$ effect or conventionally known as blood oxygenation level dependent (BOLD) effect. It is, also found that the BOLD sensitivity is also dependent on the imaging modes, namely whether the imaging is in axial, or coronal or sagittal mode as well as the directions of the vessels against the main magnetic field. We have, therefore, launched a systematic study of imaging mode dependent signal change or BOLD sensitivity as well as the signal changes due to the tilting angle of the imaging planes. Study has been made or both TRFGE sequence and CGE sequence to compare the distinctions of the each mode since each technique has different sensitivity against susceptibility effect. Method of computation and both the computer simulations and their corresponding experimental results are presented.

  • Recently, TTX(Tilting Train eXpress) has operated test. Electric railways, including the TTX, have electric problems(harmonic etc) that could bring about serious accidents.. Thus, TTX's electrical problems also need leading studies because the new Korean TTX will operate earnestly in 2012. In this paper, electrical signals in TTX operation were detected to analyze electrical harmonic. The electrical harmonics considered operation modes triparted(coasting, acceleration, braking) were analysed and evaluated.

  • 추진장치는 차량의 안전에 큰 영향을 주는 핵심 장치로 철도 선진국들은 이 장치의 크기 및 무게 저감, 스위칭 소음과 노이즈 저감 등에 대한 연구를 활발히 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 틸팅열차용 주전력변환장치 역행시험결과를 통해 제작된 추진장치의 성능이 양호함을 확인하였다.

  • Currently, most of Passenger Service System is supported to VOD in Korea. This current PSS has not internet access, real time broadcasting system and entertainment. The system did not come up to the expectation of consumer. This paper presents an application of new Passenger Service System for developing multimedia as well as wireless communication technology on internet, satellite broadcasting.

  • With the increase in population, the area of human activities has expanded, resulting in the dramatic increase in the need for transportation system. Tilting trains are currently in operation in 13 countries around the world. TTX(Tilting Train express) has been developed by KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) for last 6 years to satisfy the need. This train developed in this Project is designed for a design speed of 200km/h and a maximum operating speed of 180km/h. We developed a measurement system for on-line test. the measurement console desk is mounted on T car, which is designed as the DAQ system train. It is comprehensive of the industrial computers, LCD monitors, communication cards and the communication channel measurement system. Using this system, SIV performance evaluation was conducted.

  • 판토그라프는 전차선(catenary)으로부터의 전류를 차량에 전달하는 장치로서 전동차 지붕 위에 설치되어 있다. 판토그라프의 설계 목표는 고속 및 다양한 환경 조건하에서 연속적이고 일정한 량의 전류를 차량에 전달하도록 하는 것이다. 열차가 고속화될수록 전류의 흐름이 중단되는 이선, 접촉선과 판토그라프 집전판의 마모, 공력 소음 등이 큰 문제로 대두되며, 이들 문제들이 고속용 판토그라프의 설계 기술에서 중요시되고 있다. 특히 이선은 동력 전달이 중단될 뿐만 아니라 이선시에 발생하는 아크로 인한 마모 증대, 통신 장해를 일으킨다. 유럽과 일렬에서는 그러한 문제를 인식하고 고속용 판토그라프에 대한 연구를 활발히 진행하고 있다. 또한 저속전철이나 고속전철을 운행하는 나라에서는 기존의 가선계를 그대로 이용하면서 고속화를 달성하기 위하여 기존 가선계에 대한 최적의 판토그라프 설계에 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 기존선 고속화에 필요한 최고속도 180km/h급 틸팅차량시스템의 핵심 구성요소인 판토그라프 제어기술에 대한 연구를 통하여 보다 안전한 틸팅차량용 판토그프사양 개발하는데 목적이 있다.
