부분공간법에 의한 페루프 시스템의 동정 (Identification of Closed Loop System by Subspace Method)

  • In the linear system identification using the discrete time constant coefficients, there is a subspace method based on 4SID recently much suggested instead of the parametric method like as the maximum likelihood method. The subspace method is not related with the impulse response and difference equation in its input-output equation, but with the system matrix of the direct state space model from the input-output data. The subspace method is a very useful tool to adopt in the multivariable system identification, but it has a shortage unable to adopt in the closed-loop system identification. In this paper, we are suggested the methods to get rid of the shortage of the subspace method in the closed-loop system identification. The subspace method is used in the estimate of the output prediction values from the estimating of the state space vector. And we have compared the results with the outputs of the recursive least square method in the numerical simulation.

  • This paper presents a simple and cost-effective stand-alone rapid battery charging system of 30kW for electric vehicles. The proposed system mainly consists of active front-end rectifier of neutral point clamped 3-level type and non-isolated bi-directional dc-dc converter of multi-phase interleaved half-bridge topology. The charging system is designed to operate for both lithium-polymer and lithium-ion batteries. The complete charging sequence is made up of three sub-interval operating modes; pre-charging mode, constant-current mode, and constant-voltage mode. Each mode is operated according to battery states: voltage, current and State of Charging (SOC). The proposed system is able to reach the full-charge state within less than 16min for the battery capacity of 8kWh by supplying the charging current of 67A. The optimal discharging algorithm for Vehicle to the Grid (V2G) operation has been adopted to maintain the discharging current of 1C. Owing to the simple and compact power conversion scheme, the proposed solution has superior module-friendly mechanical structure which is absolutely required to realize flexible power expansion capability in a very high-current rapid charging system. Experiment waveforms confirm the proposed functionality of the charging system.

The optical analysis of discharge lamp by Laser

  • In this paper, we introduced a LIF measurement method and summarized the theoretical side. When an altered wavelength of laser and electric power, lamp applied electric power, we measured the relative density of the metastable state in mercury after observing a laser induced fluorescence signal of 404.8nm and 546.2nm, and confirmed the horizontal distribution of plasma density in the discharge lamp. The results confirmed the resonance phenomenon regarding the energy level of atoms along a wavelength change, and also confirmed that the largest fluorescent signal in 436nm, and that the density of atoms in 546.2nm ($6^3S_1\rightarrow6^3P_2$) were larger than 404.8nm ($6^3S_1\rightarrow6^3P_1$). According to the increase of lamp applied electric power, plasma density increased, too. When increased with laser electric power, the L1F signal reached a saturation state in more than 2.6mJ. When partial plasma density distribution along a horizontal axis was measured using the laser induced fluorescence method, the density decreased by recombination away from the center.

  • These days, sales of battery electric vehicles have been rapidly increasing due to the strict CO2 regulations. However, since it take too long to measure the energy economy of electric vehicles, it has been required to improve the procedure of energy economy measurement. In order to improve this problem, the present study analyzed the battery charge/discharge pattern according to the changes in battery SOC (state of charge). In general, the energy economy test is started with a battery SOC charged to 100 %. However, it was identified that when the battery is fully charged, it can actually be charged over the 100 % (e.g., 100.5 %). This can induce errors in the energy economy measurement. Therefore, the present study recommend to start the test at SOC 99.9 %. The regenerative braking was partly restricted for the SOC over 90 %. This made it difficult to estimate the overall energy economy of the electric vehicle. However, it was identified that there was no change in the battery charge/discharge characteristics under the SOC 90 %. Therefore, the energy economy test can be shortened by predicting the overall energy economy through a short mileage test.

ETA를 통한 연구실험실 콘센트회로의 전기재해 분석 (Analysis of Electrical Accident for Outlet Circuit of Laboratory on ETA)

  • This study is intended to identify issues on the basis of investigating the actual state of laboratory environment and outlet circuit, and derive end states by expressing sequences from the initiating event of disaster to accident in leakage current, poor contact and overload through ETA(event tree analysis). To this end, this study investigated the actual state of electric equipment of laboratory at universities in all parts of country. And it is shown that most of them are failure in electric work and user negligence in the investigation of actual state. It is found that there is earth fault and defect in wire diameter in the failure of electric work and the problem of partial disconnection due to wire bundling and poor contact in user negligence. Outlet-related component, failure rate and initiating events are composed of a total of 41 initiating events, i.e., 30 internal initiating events and 11 external initiating events. And end states are composed of a total of 15 parts, i.e., 3 electric power parts and 12 safety parts. Earthing class 3 is the most important safety device against leakage current (initiating event). And in case of poor contact, it is necessary for manager to check thoroughly because there is no safety device. In case of overload/overcurrent, when high-capacity equipment is connected, a molded case circuit breaker, safety device, worked. However, in most cases, it is verified that this doesn't work. This study can be utilized as electric equipment safety guide for laboratory safety manager and managers.

커널회귀 모델기반 가스터빈 축진동 신호이상 분석 (Kernel Regression Model based Gas Turbine Rotor Vibration Signal Abnormal State Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 가스 터빈 축 진동 신호 비정상 상태 분석의 사례 연구를 위해 커널 회귀 모델을 적용한다. 원격으로 전송되는 발전소 가스터빈의 진동데이터에 커널 회귀 모델을 적용하여 설비를 실시간으로 감시 및 분석 외에도, 축진동 신호의 비정상 상태를 분석하기 위하여 활용될 수 있다. 정상운전 중에 측정한 가스터빈의 정상적인 축진동 데이터 기반의 훈련데이터를 사용하여 생성한 자동연관커널회귀의 경험적 모델을 생성하고 적용할 수 있다. 이 데이터 기반 모델의 예측치를 실시간 데이터와 비교하여 신호의 상태를 분석하고 잔차를 감시하여 이상상태에 대한 분석 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 이상상태에서 발생하는 잔차는 비정상적으로 변화됨으로서 비정상 상태를 분석 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 커널회귀모델은 축진동 센서의 신호 이상의 원인 분석 사례에서 고장을 구분할 수 있는 정보를 제공한다.

  • A new concept of 22.9kV class revenue metering system based on the optical sensing technique was designed and implemented. This paper reports on the performance of a 22.9kV class three phase optical current/voltage metering scheme and three tariff metering system. This optoelectronic system was designed and developed to advance the state of the art in revenue metering. This paper deals with the characteristics of designed optical CPT (Current and Potential Transformer) and optoelectronic demand meter. The extensive field evaluation of the developed system with the existing oil filled transformer and solid state metering pair is undertaking. Upto now the operation of the optical revenue metering system under the field condition compares favorably with the existing system.

EMTDC Modeling Method of DC Reactor type Superconducting Fault Current Limiter

  • As electric power systems grow to supply the increasing electric power demand short-circuit current tends to increase and impose a severe burden on circuit breakers and power system apparatuses. Thus, all electric equipment in a power system has to he designed to withstand the mechanical and thermal stresses of potential short-circuit currents. Among current limiting devices, Fault Current Limiter (FCL) is expected to reduce the short-circuit current. Especially, Superconducting Fault Current Limiters (SFCL) offer ideal performance: in normal operation the SFCL is in its superconducting state and has negligible impedance, in the event of a fault, the transition into the normal conducting state passively limits the current. The SFCL using high-temperature superconductors offers a positive resolution to controlling fault-current levels on utility distribution and transmission networks. This study contributes to the EMTDC based modeling and simulation method of DC Reactor type SFCL. Single and three phase faults in the utility system with DC reactor type SFCLs have been simulated using EMTDC in order to coordinate with other equipments, and the results are discussed in detail.

Evaluation of the Effective Charge Density on Low Pressure Nanofiltration with the Separation Characteristics of Monovalent and Divalent Solutes in the Production of Drinking Water

  • The electric charge on a membrane was investigated by analyzing the experimental rejection of various monovalent and divalent ionic solutes. The characteristics of the separation of ionic solutes using various nanofiltration membranes were obtained from an experimental nanofiltration set-up, with a surface area of $40cm^2$ under the operational pressures between 0.25-0.3 MPa. The state of the membrane electric charge was observed using separation coefficients, i.e., the permeation ratio of monovalent to divalent ions. To confirm the state of the membrane charge observed via the separation coefficient, a calculation using the extended Nernst-Planck equation, coupled with the Donnan equilibrium, assuming different electric charge states of the membrane, was compared with the experimental rejection of ionic solutes. The examination of the characteristics of separation using three types of nanofiltration membranes showed that one of the membranes carried a negative/positive double charge density inside, while other two membranes carried either a positive or negative charge density.

전기구동 특수차량의 제동 조향 성능 해석 (Brake Steering Analysis of Electric-driven Special-purpose Vehicles)

  • In this paper, brake steering performance of electric-driven special-purpose vehicles is investigated. A 14 DOF model is developed considering nonlinear character- istics of the suspension and tire. Based on the model, cornering performance is analyzed for brake steering, acceleration steering and pivoting, respectively. Simulation results are obtained based on the developed SIMULINK module. This analysis about the non steady state cornering performance is particularly important for armored vehicles because the projected route of the vehicle at emergency should be predicted accuracy.
