무성방전내에서 톨루엔 제거에 미치는 운전변수의 영향 (Effects of Operating Parameters on Toluene Removal in Dielectric Barrier Discharge Process)

  • We investigated the effects of operating variables, such as electrical. reactor and gas parameters on toluene removal and discharge property in the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) process. The toluene removal was initiated with the energy transfer to the reactor by loading of voltages higher than the discharge onset value. The energy transfer and toluene removal increased with the applied voltage. Higher removal rate was observed with smooth surface electrode despite of lower energy transfer compared with the coarse electrode, because more uniform discharge can be obtained on smooth surface state. The decrease of dielectric material thickness enhanced the removal efficiency by increasing the discharge potential. The toluene removal efficiency decreased with the increase of the inlet concentration. The increase of gas retention time enhanced the removal efficiency by the increase of energy density. The oxygen and humidity contents seem to exert significant influences on the toluene removal by dominating the generation of electrons, ions, and radicals which are key factors in the removal mechanism.

  • Properties of each layer in DSSC were investigated to improve solar cell characterstics. Also in this study, low costsolar simulator system is fabricated and used. Efficiency of DSSC is better in the case of thinner semiconductive layer, because thick semiconductive layer is acted as resistor. Sc-doped ZnO thin films showed better electrical property by proper donor doping effect. Among the dyes, DSSC containing N719 showed higher efficiency, because N719 have smaller electron affinity and shallow band gap.

자본시장통합법 시행에 따른 금융회사 효율성의 변화 (The Effect of Capital Market Consolidation Act on the Efficiency of the Korean Financial Industry)

  • Enacted for enhancing the competitiveness of the Korean capital market and financial industry, Capital Market Consolidation Act (CMCA) was intended to induce considerable changes such as adopting the concept of financial investment products, regulating financial investment functionally, extending financial investors' business areas and intensifying protection for investors. Employing DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis), this study measures and compares the efficiencies of domestic financial companies between the before and after the enactment of the Consolidation Act. We categorize the financial companies into 4 groups (banks, life insurance companies, property and casualty insurance companies and securities companies) depending on their business types, and evaluate how much and in which direction the Consolidation Act affects the efficiency of each group respectively. The study shows that there is no significant difference between the average efficiency of banks and that of property and casualty insurance companies due to the trade-off between opportunities and threats of the Act. To the contrary, it shows that the respective average efficiencies of life insurance companies and securities companies moved in the opposite directions to a considerable extent. Through empirical tests, we demonstrate the effect of the Act on the efficiency of Korean financial companies, and suggest the countermeasures for each financial group against the Act.

표면개질 담체를 이용한 충전탑 반응기에서 유기물 제거 및 미생물 부착 특성 (Characteristics of Organic Compounds Removal and Microbe Attachment in Packed Bed Column Reactor Using Surface-modified Media)

  • This study was accomplished using packed bed column reactors that contain nonsurface-modified polypropylene media and surface-modified media from hydrophobic surface property into hydrophilic property by ion beam irradiation. The objectives of this research was investigated the characteristics of organic compounds removal and microbe attachment from sewage of school cafeteria in these reactors. In 736.8 mg/L of the average inflow $COD_{Cr}$ concentration the reactors with and without surface modification showed 81.8% and 70.3% of average $COD_{Cr}$ removal efficiencies, respectively, which proves the $COD_{Cr}$ removal efficiency of surface-modified media reactor is higher than that of nonsurface-modified media reactor. After 90 days, there were maximum differences between modified system and non-modified system. In that time the maximum removal efficiency of $COD_{Cr}$ was 96.5% in modified system and was 85.2% in non-modified system that showed removal efficiency of surface-modified media system is 11.3% higher than that of nonsurface-modified media system. The average removal efficiency of SS was 80.4% for the surface modified system and 61.6% for the non-modified system under same condition. Also, the reactor of surface-modified media has advantage on microbe attachment and biofilm formation.

플라스틱 광섬유를 이용한 조명시스템 개발과 특성 분석 (Development and Performance Property Investigation of Lighting System using Plastic Optical Fiber)

  • Compared to general lighting method, the lighting system that uses optic fiber can provide only the visible light of good quality to subject by eliminating ultraviolet ray and infrared ray. Thanks to this merit, it is possible to prevent the hard phenomenon of subject caused by ultraviolet ray and infrared ray and to provide the agreeable light environment. This study developed indoors illumination system of high color rendering on the basis of plastic optic fiber with excellent optical property and processing to substitute halogen lamp which has been used for excellent color rendering in spite of low efficiency and short life. Producing pilot product of the designed illumination system and evaluating the property of electric and optical property, ultraviolet ray radiation quantity and temperature property, this study verified the excellence of suggested lighting system of plastic optic fiber.

장소성 구현을 통한 공간 재생 디자인 연구 (A Study of Design For Reviving Space through Realizing Place Property)

  • Though the physical environment of life through technological evolution has rapidly improved, the quality of life due to a variety of undesirable environmental issues has been seriously damaging. This study has tried to suggest the positive & sustainable direction of space design which can contribute to improving the quality of human lives by reviving 'place property' which a site itself has, trying to analyze the recycling space which the sustainability has been applied to in a true sense. For this cause, we've tried to draw four 'methods of realizing place property' such as meeting a site, understanding a site, finding the identity of a site, and adding novelty to a site through advanced research. I've tried to suggest the design direction for reviving space which can relieve the artificial aspect of design with pursuing the co-existence with nature on the foundation of realizing 'place property' through case analysis selected on the basis of this, and can express the 'sustainability' through environment-friendly space structures & high efficiency of its function.

Integral Attacks on Some Lightweight Block Ciphers

  • At EUROCRYPT 2015, Todo proposed a new technique named division property, and it is a powerful technique to find integral distinguishers. The original division property is also named word-based division property. Later, Todo and Morii once again proposed a new technique named the bit-based division property at FSE 2016 and find more rounds integral distinguisher for SIMON-32. There are two basic approaches currently being adopted in researches under the bit-based division property. One is conventional bit-based division property (CBDP), the other is bit-based division property using three-subset (BDPT). Particularly, BDPT is more powerful than CBDP. In this paper, we use Boolean Satisfiability Problem (SAT)-aided cryptanalysis to search integral distinguishers. We conduct experiments on SIMON-32/-48/-64/-96, SIMON (102)-32/-48/-64, SIMECK-32/-48/-64, LBlock, GIFT and Khudra to prove the efficiency of our method. For SIMON (102)-32/-48/-64, we can determine some bits are odd, while these bits can only be determined as constant in the previous result. For GIFT, more balanced (zero-sum) bits can be found. For LBlock, we can find some other new integral distinguishers. For Khudra, we obtain two 9-round integral distinguishers. For other ciphers, we can find the same integral distinguishers as before.

  • This paper compared waveform, cepstrum, and spline wavelet features with nonlinear discriminant analysis. This measure shows efficiency of speech parametrization better than old linear separability criteria and can be used to measure the efficiency of each layer of certain system. Spline wavelet transform has larger gap among classes and cepstrum is clustered better than the spline wavelet feature. Both features do not have good property for classification and we will compare Gabor wavelet transform, Mel cepstrum, delta cepstrum, etc.

  • Since 2010, enhancement of the building energy efficiency and certification system and public office building should have been acquiring the first grade of Building Energy Efficiency. The Building Energy Efficiency Rating evaluation tool and Dynamic Analysis Energy simulation program for Building Energy Efficiency are widely used. The suitability to those programs have been discussed as a variety of programs have been used accordingly. In this study, evaluated the characteristic of Building Energy Efficiency Rating tool(ECO2) of the business building. At a result, the variables on the Weather Data, building Profile and building Load property in hourly between those Building Energy Efficiency evaluation tools have different.

유압 피스톤 펌프 소재의 마모 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wear Property of Oil Hydraulic Piston Pump Material)

  • Oil hydraulic piston pumps are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost etc. An oil hydraulic pump is likely to have serious problems of high leakage, friction and low energy efficiency according to large time use. In the oil hydraulic piston pumps the clearance between the valve block and piston plays an important role for volumetric and overall efficiency. In this paper, the wear property of the SACM645 material used the hydraulic piston pump has been work out by experimentation with variable heat treatment. To investigate the effect according to the piston surface condition, seven different types specimen were prepared. From the wear test results, induction hardening and nitration were definitely superior to the others. On the whole, nitration was estimated for high strength material to wear resistance.
