Vibration test on MAST(multi axial simulation table) system has several advantage over one-axial vibration test that could simulate 6-DOF, 3-axial translation and 3-axial moment, at the same time. Since field vibration motion can be fully represented with 6-DOF, multi-axial vibration test on vehicle component is widely conducted in technical leading companies to make sure its fatigue performance in vibration environment. On the way to fulfill the process, editing technique of obtained field data is key issue to success a reliable vibration testing with MAST system. Since the original signals are not only too large to fulfill it directly, but all of the measured data is not guarantee its convergency on generating its driving files, editing technique of the original signals are highly required to make some events that should meet the equal fatigue damage on the target component In this paper, key technique on editing a field data feasible for MAST system is described based on energy method in vibration fatigue. To explain its technique explicitly, author first introduced a process on field data acquisition of two vehicle component and then, representing events are produced to keep up with the editing strategy about a energy method. In the final chapter, a time information regarding a vibration test on MAST system is derived from the energy data which is critical information to perform a vibration test.
Recently, Photo editing softwares such as digital cameras, Paintshop Pro, and Photoshop digital can create counterfeit images easily. Various techniques for detection of tamper images or forgery images have been proposed in the literature. A form of digital forgery is copy-move image forgery. Copy-move is one of the forgeries and is used wherever you need to cover a part of the image to add or remove information. Copy-move image forgery refers to copying a specific area of an image itself and pasting it into another area of the same image. The purpose of copy-move image forgery detection is to detect the same or very similar region image within the original image. In this paper, we proposed fast detection of forgery image using four step search based on discrete cosine transform and a four step search algorithm using discrete cosine transform (FSSDCT). The computational complexity of our algorithm reduced 34.23 % than conventional DCT three step search algorithm (DCTTSS).
As rapid development of new hardware control interface technology, new concepts have been being proposed and emerged. In this paper, a new approach based on leap motion system is proposed. While we employ a position information from sensor, the hand gesture recognition is suggested with the pre-defined patterns. To do this, we design a recognition algorithm with hand gesture and finger patterns. We apply the proposed scheme to 3-dimensional avatar controling and editing software tool for making animation in the cyber space as a representative application. This proposed algorithm can be used to control computer systems in medical treatment, game, education and other various areas.

A new video inpainting algorithm is proposed for removing unwanted objects or error of sources from video data. In the first step, the block bundle is defined by the motion information of the video data to keep the temporal consistency. Next, the block bundles are arranged in the 3-dimensional graph that is constructed by the spatial and temporal correlation. Finally, we pose the inpainting problem in the form of a discrete global optimization and minimize the objective function to find the best temporal bundles for the grid points. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm yields visually pleasing video inpainting results even in a dynamic scene.
To inspect the quality of data collected from a large-scale body measurement and investigation project, it is necessary to establish a proper data editing process. The three-dimensional body measurement may have measuring errors caused from measurer's proficiency or changes in the subject's posture. And it may also have errors caused in the process of algorithm expressing the information obtained from the three-dimensional scanner into numerical values, and in the course of data-processing dealing with numerous data for individuals. When those errors are found, the quality of the measured data is deteriorated, and they consequently reduce the quality of statistics which was conducted on the basis of it. Therefore this study intends to suggest a new way to improve the quality of the data collected from the three-dimensional body measurement by proposing a working procedure identifying data errors and correcting them from the whole data processing procedure-collecting, processing, and analyzing- of the 2004 Size Korea Three-dimensional Body Measurement Project. This study was carried out into three stages: Firstly, we detected erroneous data by examining of logical relations among variables under each edit rule. Secondly, we detected suspicious data through independent examination of individual variable value by sex and age. Finally, we examined scatter-plot matrix of many variables to consider the relationships among them. This simple graphical tool helps us to find out whether some suspicious data exist in the data set or not. As a result of this study, we detected some erroneous data included in the raw data. We figured out that the main errors are not because of the system errors that the three-dimensional body measurement system has but because of the subject's original three-dimensional shape data. Therefore by correcting some erroneous data, we have enhanced data quality.

This study aims to develop algorithms for automatic extraction landmarks from the lower body of women aged 20-54 using the Grasshopper programming language, based on 3D scan data in the 8th SizeKorea dataset. First, 11 landmarks were defined using the morphological features of 3D body surfaces and clothing applications, from which automatic landmark extraction algorithms were developed. To verify the accuracy of the algorithm, this study developed an additional algorithm that could automatically measure 16 items, and algorithm-derived measurements and SizeKorea measurements were compared using paired t-test analysis. The statistical differences between the scan-derived measurements and the SizeKorea measurements were compared, with an allowable tolerance of ISO 20685-1:2018. This study found that the algorithm successfully identified most items except for the crotch point and gluteal fold point. In the case of landmarks with significant differences, the algorithms were modified. This study was significant because scan editing, landmark search, and measurement extraction were successfully performed in one interface, and the developed algorithm has a high efficiency and strong adaptability.
Researches on the gesture recognition have become a very interesting topic in the computer vision area, Gesture recognition from visual images has a number of potential applicationssuch as HCI (Human Computer Interaction), VR(Virtual Reality), machine vision. To overcome thetechnical barriers in visual processing, conventional approaches have employed cumbersome devicessuch as datagloves or color marked gloves. In this research, we capture gesture images without usingexternal devices and generate a gesture trajectery composed of point-tokens. The trajectory Is spottedusing phase-based velocity constraints and recognized using the discrete left-right HMM. Inputvectors to the HMM are obtained by using the LBG clustering algorithm on a polar-coordinate spacewhere point-tokens on the Cartesian space .are converted. A gesture vocabulary is composed oftwenty-two dynamic hand gestures for editing drawing elements. In our experiment, one hundred dataper gesture are collected from twenty persons, Fifty data are used for training and another fifty datafor recognition experiment. The recognition result shows about 95% recognition rate and also thepossibility that these results can be applied to several potential systems operated by gestures. Thedeveloped system is running in real time for editing basic graphic primitives in the hardwareenvironments of a Pentium-pro (200 MHz), a Matrox Meteor graphic board and a CCD camera, anda Window95 and Visual C++ software environment.
Each year, significant amounts of Stereoscopic 3D(S3D) contents have been introduced. However, viewers who enjoy the contents readily experience a sense of fatigue on account of various factors. Consequently, many improvement studies have been conducted with the domain of disparity by, for example, simply controlling the disparity or optimizing the reaction speed of viewers' eyes to vergence. However, such studies are limited to the disparity domain and therefore are restricted to a limited number of applications. In this study, we attempted to transcend this limitation and analyzed how a reconstruction in color and brightness, as well as disparity and other important features, affects eyes in terms of vergence adaptation. As a result, we found that, the higher the color similarity is, the better it positively affects vergence adaptation during viewing. Based on this analysis, we propose in this paper a similar color extraction method between takes that are applicable to real-life situations. In an evaluation, the algorithm was applied to publicly available S3D contents and produced a converted color optimized image. The vergence adaptation time of this applied contents was significantly decreased. Also it was minimized through color reconstruction, thereby, being resulted in enhancing viewer concentration.
Recently, digital images are extremely forged by editors or advertisers. Also, amateurs can modify images throughout easy editing programs. In this study, we propose identification and analytical methods for the modified images to figure out those problems. In modified image analysis, we classify two parts; a filtering change and a geometric change. Those changes have an algorithm based on interpolation so that we propose the algorithm which is able to analyze a trace on a modified area. With this algorithm, we implement a detection map of interpolation using minimum filter, laplacian algorithm, and maximum filter. We apply the proposed algorithm to modified image and are able to analyze its modified trace using the detection map.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and usefulness of newly developed personal computer-based software to eliminate the linear artifacts by the metal restorations. Materials and Methods: A 3D CT image was conventionally reconstructed using ADVANTAGE WINDOWS 2.0 3D Analysis software (GE Medical System, Milwaukee, USA) and eliminated the linear artifacts manually. Next, a 3D CT image was reconstructed using V-works 4.0/sup TM/(Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea) and the linear artifacts eliminated manually in the axial images by a skillful operator using a personal computer. A 3D CT image was reconstructed using V-works 4.0/sup TM/(Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea) and the linear artifacts were removed using a simplified algorithm program to eliminate the linear artifacts automatically in the axial images using a personal computer, abbreviating the manual editing procedure. Finally, the automatically edited reconstructed 3D images were compared to the manually edited images. Results and Conclusion: We effectively eliminated the linear artifacts automatically by this algorithm, not by the manual editing procedures, in some degree. But programs based on more complicated and accurate algorithms may lead to a nearly flawless elimination of these linear artifacts automatically.
