A study on the Perfume Purchasing Behaviors and Fashion Leadership (유행선도력에 따른 향수 구매행동에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the influences of fashion leadership on consumers'evaluation of domestic and imported perfume product, and perfume purchasing behaviors and to find out the demographics and consumer value on fashion leadership. The data were collected from 369 female college students using questionnaire. The results were as follows: First, there were significant differences on consumers'evaluation of domestic and imported perfume product between the groups on fashion leadership. The higher the fashion leadership, the much positive consumers'evaluation of imported perfume product. Second, Fashion leaders'the frequency of perfume usage and the pieces of perfume product were higher than fashion followers. The most important perfume attribute of all groups was scent, and fashion leader took the much significant view of brand name than fashion followers. Third, Fashion leaders'economical level and pleasure oriented value was higher than fashion followers.

An Experimental Study on the Construction Performances and Economical Evaluation of the Self-compacting Concrete by Cementitious Materials (결합재에 따른 자기충전 콘크리트의 시공성 및 경제성 평가에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the construction performances and economical evaluation of the self-compacting concrete in actual site work after selecting the optimum mix proportions according to cementitious materials. Slag cement type of 46.5% slag powder and belite cement of 51.4% $C_2S$ content, lime stone powder as binders are selected for site experiment including water cement ratio. Also, test items for optimum mix proportion are as followings ; (1) Slump flow, 500 mm reaching time, V-type flowing time and U-box height (2) Setting time, bleeding, shortening depth and adiabatic temperature rising (3) Mixing time in plant (4) Concrete quantity and cost, quality control in actual concrete work. As test results, (4) Optimum water-cement ratio ; Slag cement type 41.0% and belite cement 51.0% (2) Setting time and bleeding finishing time of slag cement are faster, bleeding content of slag cement is higher, shortening depth and adiabatic temperature rising of belite cement type are lower (3) Optimum mixing time in batcher plant is 75 seconds and concrete productive capacity is about $100{\sim}110m^3/hr$. (4) Belite cement type is lower than slag cement type in material cost 14.0%, and concrete quantity in actual concreting work save 3.3% in case of belite cement type. Therefore, self-compacting concrete of belite cement type is definitely superior to that of slag cement type in various test items without compressive strength development.

Operating Performance Evaluation of Landfill Facility and Landfill Gas (LFG) Energy Facility (매립시설 및 매립가스 에너지화시설 운영현황 분석)

  • This research was conducted to evaluate the operational performance of landfill facility and landfill gas energy facility from the questionnaire survey. In order to evaluate overall operational performance, three types of weighting methods were applied to each technical, economical, and environmental item. There was no significant difference between an equal weighted method, a weighted method of 40% for technology, 30% for economy, and 30% for environment, and a weighted method of 30% for technology, 40% for economy, and 30% for environment. In technical performance, large and middle scales of landfill facilities showed higher scores of 14.8 ~ 19.7 and 14.3 ~ 19.0 than 9.8 ~ 13.0 of small scale one. In environmental performance, large, middle, and small scales of landfill facilities showed 21.3 ~ 23.7, 17.6 ~ 19.6, and 20.8 ~ 23.1 scores, respectively. However, in economical performance, there was significant difference between them with scale. Large and middle scales of landfill facilities showed higher scores of 22.0 ~ 29.3 and 20.5 ~ 27.3 than 6.0 ~ 8.0 of small scale one. As a result of evaluation for landfill gas energy facility, large scale facility showed 19.2 ~ 25.6 and 17.8 ~ 23.7 scores in technical performance and 23.1 ~ 25.7 and 21.3 ~ 23.7 scores in environmental performance, respectively. However, in economical performance evaluation, large scale of landfill gas energy facility showed relatively higher of 27.8 ~ 33.3 score than 18.8 ~ 25.1 of small scale one. From these results, it was shown that economy evaluation heavily effect on the operational performance of landfill facility and landfill gas energy facility compared to technology and environment evaluation.

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the lifestyle of women in their 50's and 60's and to provide the basis fur the efficient strategy of silver market by classifying women in their 50's and 60's according to lifestyle types and investigating the effect of consumers' lifestyle and demographic characteristics on consumers' clothing evaluation criteria and buying place. In this study, a selfㆍadministered questionnaire was distributed to women in their 50's and 60's. 226 questionnaires of 350 were used in the following analysis. The data were analyzed with the SPSS package. The results of this study were as follows. First, lifestyle were analyzed to find out the underlying factors, and then the subjects were grouped according to factor scores by the cluster analysis. Four lifestyle types were defined. They were the traditional family-oriented, the ostentatious purchase, the economical material-oriented, the active economics-oriented type. Second, a consumer's clothing evaluation criteria were classified according to three characteristics - aesthetic, practical and ostentatious. A consumer's clothing evaluation criteria were significantly different depending on the consumer's lifestyle and demographic characteristics. All lifestyle types except ostentatious purchase type considered practical characteristic like easiness of washing/care, harmony with other clothing, quality and price. The higher education, income and clothing expense, the more a customer considered ostentatious characteristic like fashionability and reputation of brand in selection of clothing.

  • In this paper, we have analyzed the power spectra and evaluate the performance of DTMF receiver by using the quick Fourier transform(QFT) algorithm. The economical signals detection of dual-tone multifrequency(DTMF) receiver is an important factor when developing cost-effective telecommunication equipment. In experimental results, it shows that reducing memory waste and can process the real-time.

  • In the paper, we evaluated insulation evaluation of EPDM insulator used often in power distribution lines in Korea. The selected samples for our experiment were three EPDM insulators for 22.9[kV] operated for 10 years or less. Using these samples, we observed the discharge pattern through accelerating experimental and analyzed discharge quantity using fractal theory. The validity of our fractal method were discussed and life time. reliability and quantitative analysis of the insulator was conducted through the method.

  • Although pseudo-dynamic test and shaking table test have been performed using small scale models to evaluate the seismic performance of RC structures, researches on similitude law are not sufficient.   • The economical detection of dulal-tone multifrequency(DTMF) signals is an important factor when developing cost-effective telecommunication equipment. Each channel have independently a DTMF receiver, and it informs the detected signal to processors of the TDX. This paper proposes the linear prediction algorithm for the spectrum analysis. As a experimental resutls, it can obtain the improved performance to the DTMF receivers and reduce the real-time processing and memory waste.

  • Three representative dam-break models, HEC-1, DAMBRK, and SMPDBK were analyzed respectively in their theories and then applied to the failure of Teton Dam for which some observed data exist. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that:(1)HEC-1, which uses the hydrologic routing method, produces stable solutions for almost all the cases that were tested in this study :(2)DAMBRK, which uses the dynamic routing method, is most accurate among the three models ;(3)SMPDBK, which uses the generalized dyanmic routing relationships, is most economical and easily applicable.
