Thailand had issued a national strategic development master plan with issues related to water resources and water security in the entire water management. Water resources are an important factor of living and development of the country's socio-economy to be stable, prosperous and sustainable. Therefore, water management in both multidimensional and multi-sectoral systems is important and will supports socio-economic and environmental development. The direction of national development in accordance with the national strategic framework for 20 years that requires the country to level up security level in terms of water, energy and food. To response to the proposed goals, there is a subplan to increase water productivity of the entire water system for economical development use by evaluating use value and to create more value added from water use to meet international standard level. This study aims to evaluate the water productivity of Thailand in each basin and all sectors such as agricultural sector, service and industrial sectors by using the water use data from water account analysis and GDP data from NESDB during the past 10 years (1996-2015). The comparison of water productivity with other countries will also be conducted and in addition, the measures to improve water productivity in next 20 years will be explored to response to the National Strategic Master Plan goals. Water productivity is defined as output per unit of water depleted. The simplest way to compare water productivity across different enterprises is in monetary terms. World Bank presents water productivity as an indication of the efficiency by which each country uses its water resources. There are two data sets used for water productivity analyses, i.e., the first is water use data at end users and the second is Gross Domestic Product. The water use at end users are estimated by water account method based on the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting for Water (SEEA-Water) concept of United Nations. The water account shows the analyses of the water balance between the use and supply of each water resource in physical terms. The water supply and use linkage in the water account analyses separated into each phases, i.e., water sources, water managers, water service providers, water user at end user under water regulators of all kinds of water use activities such as household, industrial, agricultural, tourism, hydropower, and ecological conservation uses. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP), a well- known measuring method of the national economic growth is not actually a comprehensive approach to describe all aspects of national economic status, since GDP does not take into account the costs of the negative impacts to natural resources that result from the overexploitation of development projects, however, at present, integrating the environment with the economy of a country to measure its economic growth with GDP is acceptable worldwide. The study results will show the water use at each basin, use types at end users, water productivity in each sector from 1996-2015 compared with other countries, Besides the productivity improvement measures will be explored and proposed for the National Strategic Master Plan.

Oysters, especially are excellent source of several mineral including iron, zinc and selenium, which are often low in the mordern diet. They are also an excellent source of glycogen, vitamin B12 and considered the healthiest when eaten raw on the half shell in good tasted season from November to March. This study was investigated for the purpose of obtaining basic data which can be applied to processing of two kinds of canned boiled oyster (canned boiled oyster, canned boiled oyster in bamboo salt). Shucked oyster meat was cooked in steam (15min) after washing with water, filled 90g into can (301-3), added with salt solution and then precooked for 10 min. at $100^{\circ}C$. Canned boiled oyster was added 1.5% salt solution 60mL. Canned boiled oyster in bamboo salt was added 0.5% salt solution 30mL and 0.7% bamboo salt solution 30mL. The cans were seamed using a vacuum seamer, and then sterilized for various Fo values (Fo 8~12 min.) in a steam system retort at $116^{\circ}C$, $118^{\circ}C$. Viable bacterial count, proximate composition, pH, salinity, yield, VBN, amino-N, TBA, mineral, color value, free amino acid, hardness and sensory evaluation of two kinds of canned boiled oyster produced at various sterilization condition (Fo 8~12 min.) were measured after divide to meat and juice. The results showed that canned boiled oyster in bamboo salt sterilized at Fo 8 min. was the most desirable because this condition is the most economical and tasty.

The objective of this study is to suggest a safe and economical pillar reinforcement method when very near-twin tunnels with a minimum interval of 1 m passes through a soft zone such as weathered soil or weathered rock. A standard cross-sectional view of a two-lane road tunnel was applied to suggest a pillar reinforcement method for the very near-twin tunnels. The thickness of the pillar was 1 m. The ground condition around the tunnel was weathered soil or weathered rock. There were four reinforcement methods for pillar stability evaluation. These were rock bolt reinforcement, pre-stressed steel strand reinforcement, horizontal steel pipe grouting reinforcement, horizontal steel pipe grouting + prestressed steel strand reinforcement. When the ground condition was weathered soil, only the pillar reinforced the horizontal steel pipe grouting + prestressed steel strand did not failed. When the ground condition was weathered rock, there were no failure of the pillar reinforced the horizontal steel pipe grouting or the horizontal steel pipe grouting + prestressed steel strand. It is considered that the horizontal steel pipe grouting reinforcement played a role in increasing the stability of the upper part of the pillar by supporting the upper load applied to the upper part of the pillar.

Riverfront facilities are river space facilities used by citizens for the rest and convenience. Recently, although the importance of efficient maintenance of riverfront facilities is increasing, damaging facilities cases are increasing due to frequent floods. Currently, the inspections and diagnosis of river space facilities are limited to the main flood control facilities. And the standards for the maintenance and management of the riverfront facilities are insufficient. Utilization survey, which is the standard for managing river space facilities, is also inefficient in terms of manpower consumption and economic feasibility. This study uses mobile big data to classify river usage and conducts a survey for usability of river facilities to derive economic evaluation for usage performance. In the future, if economical method system that considers safety, usability, and durability is conducted and demanding analysis for each convenience facility is evaluated, it is expected that the efficient maintenance of riverfront facilities is perfomed better and the use of rivers by citizens will further increase.

Various approaches have been attempted to develop recycling technologies related to industrial waste resources containing metals. Among them, glass is not decomposed into microorganisms, so landfill is not suitable, and interest in the recycling of waste glass is increasing. In this paper, by incorporating chelate resin to suppress the elution of heavy metals in waste glass and using waste glass as a fine aggregate and we want to evaluate the strength, drying shrinkage, alkali-silica reaction and heavy metal leaching of shielded filler materials and to provide basic data for utilizing waste glass as an economical and environmentally friendly shielding filler. As a result of the test, it was found that the use of waste glass as a fine aggregate was effective in the development of strength, but the incorporation of chelate resin had an influence on the strength development. In addition, the addition of chelate resin was effective in improving drying shrinkage but it was found to affect the alkali - silica reaction. As a result of the heavy metal leaching test, the KSLP test method satisfies all the criteria for heavy metal leaching. However, in case of lead, the limit of US ANSI 67-2007a was exceeded and further study should be done.

In mineral resource development, resource exploration is a task to find economical minerals on the surface and underground, and the success rate is low compared to the development and production stages, and it is necessary to collect a lot of data through exploration and accurately analyze the collected information. In this study, mine spatial information was constructed using a 3D (Three-dimensional) laser scanner, and accuracy evaluation was performed to obtain a maximum deviation of 0.140 m and an average of 0.095 m in the X, Y and Z directions, and the possibility of utilizing the construction of mine geospatial information through a 3D laser scanner could be presented. In addition, the ore body modeling was performed by applying the interpolation method of the ore body section using the resource exploration results. The ore body modeling result was superimposed with the modeling result of the mine geospatial information built through the 3D laser scanner to construct the ore body modeling result based on the precise mine geospatial information. The results of ore body modeling based on mine geospatial information built through research can increase the ease of data interpretation and the accuracy of the calculated data, which will greatly increase the efficiency of work related to mineral resource development and mine damage prevention in the future.
Coastal shipping performs a pivotal role as a national transportation network and is highly valuable in terms of enabling more economical transportation at affordable prices than road transportation. In this regard, this study aimed to examine changes in the characteristics and centrality of South Korea's costal shipping sea-route networks by analyzing the centrality of domestic coastal shipping. To this end, social network analysis was used as an analysis technique that enables an analysis on the characteristics of coastal shipping networks. As a result, Jeollanam-do showed the highest degree centrality, ranking first in both the in-degree and the out-degree. Jeollanam-do also exhibited the highest betweenness centrality, and Gangwon-do registered the highest closeness centrality. In terms of hub and authority centrality, Jeollanam-do topped the list, followed by Gyeongsangnam-do and Gangwon-do in order. Lastly, Jeollanam-do ranked highest in the hub index, followed by Incheon, other regions, and Gangwon-do in order. This study is significant for suggesting the cities and provinces that play a key role in coastal shipping each year and their corresponding items. Future studies are recommended to identify the trend of coastal shipping through more detailed research on each port by city and province.

Recently, it has been observed that as the level of Science and Technology in Korea is improving, the demand for technology transfer from overseas buyers is also increasing. A technical value is an important factor for the technology transfer process and the valuation of technology should be performed reasonably. Specifically, a non-economical value has to be examined thoroughly when conducting the valuation for a technology that depends on public values. Since public technology has public benefit as its purpose when compared to technology from the private sector, its discount rate should be appropriately assessed and reflected in its valuation process. In this context, this study presents the methodology of valuation of public technology particularly relating to the transfer of technology from the national defense industries. To be specific, both an application method of the discount rate according to the characteristics and the purpose of the target technology and a qualitative and quantitative evaluation method to reflect the public values are presented. The proposed method for the valuation of defense technology could be used practically both in strengthening bargaining capability based on the reasonably derived technical values for transfer of national defense technology abroad and in the compilation of budgets for technology development in the future.
In this study, evaluation and consideration of domestic/overseas design, construction, and quality control performed by the authors on the deep cement mixing method were performed, and improvements for the development of the DCM method were suggested in the future. As a result of this study, it was found that the cross-sectional area correction for strength is required during the laboratory test of mix proportion, and caution is required because the extrapolation method may lead to different results from the actual one. Applicable design methods should be selected in consideration of both the improvement ratio and the type of improvement during design, and it was confirmed that the allowable compressive strength to which the safety factor was applied refers to the standard value for stability review and not the design parameters. In the case of the stress concentration ratio, rather than applying a conventional value, it was possible to perform economical design by calculating the experimental and theoretical stress concentration ratio reflecting the design conditions. In the case where pre-boring is expected during construction, if the increased water content is not large compared to the original, there were cases where a major problem did not occur even if the result that did not consider the increase in water content was used. In addition, it was confirmed that when the ratio of the top treatment length to the improved length is high, a small amount of design cement contents per unit length can be injected during construction. In the case of quality control, it was evaluated that D/4~2D/4 for single-axis and D/4 point for multi-axis were optimal for coring of grouting mixtures. As an item for quality control, it is judged that the standard that considers the TCR along with the unconfined compressive strength of grouting mixtures is more suitable for the domestic situation.
The social need for stable hydrogen storage technologies that respond to the increasing demand for hydrogen energy is increasing. Among them, underground hydrogen storage is recognized as the most economical and reasonable storage method because of its vast hydrogen storage capacity. In Korea, low-depth hydrogen storage using artificial protective structures is being considered. Further, establishing corresponding safety standards and ground stability evaluation is becoming essential. This study evaluated the hydro-mechanical behavior of the ground during a hydrogen gas leak from a low-depth underground hydrogen storage facility through the HM coupled analysis model. The predictive reliability of the simulation model was verified through benchmark experiments. A parameter study was performed using a metamodel to analyze the sensitivity of factors affecting the surface uplift caused by the upward infiltration of high-pressure hydrogen gas. Accordingly, it was confirmed that the elastic modulus of the ground was the largest. The simulation results are considered to be valuable primary data for evaluating the complex analysis of hydrogen gas explosions as well as hydrogen gas leaks in the future.
