  • Various problems such as the increase of the power loss and the voltage instability may often occur in the case of low load power factor. The demand of reactive power increases continuously with the growth of active power and the restructuring of electric power companies makes the comprehensive management of reactive power a troublesome problem, so that the systematic control of load power factor is required. In this paper, the load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is derived and it is used for determining the locations of reactive power compensation devices effectively and for enhancing the load power factor appropriately. In addition, the voltage variation penalty cost is introduced and the integrated costs including the voltage variation penalty cost are used for determining the value of the load power factor from the point of view of the economic investment and voltage regulation. It is shown through the application to a large-scale power system that the load power factor can be enhanced effectively and appropriately using the load power factor sensitivity and integrated costs.

  • 최근에 경제 발전과 인식의 변화에 따라 국내외적으로 직업병에 관련된 많은 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 그에 따라 상당한 성과도 발생되고 있다. 하지만, 선원들의 열악한 근무환경에 비해 승선근무에 따라 발생하는 직업 관련성 상병에 대해서는 체계적인 연구가 이루어지지 못하고 있으며, 사후(事後) 처리적인 보상에 관련된 연구들만 이루어지고 있는 것이 현실이다. 그래서 이 연구에서는 선원의 직업성 관련 상병에 대한 기초 조사를 근거로 하여 그에 대한 관련 법령 및 제도를 검토하였다. 그리고 선원의 상병 예방과 발병 후 신속하고 적절한 지원을 하기 위한 법적 개선점을 제안하고자 한다.

  • The changes in korean economic environment, from quantitative to qualitative growth of economy, go with making desperate efforts, that is, companies have put through many technical improvements, quality control, improvement of service, and so forth. Enterprises cut the number of employees through labor-management adjustment, so that a shortage of labor caused. An increase in intension of labor brought about growing the proportion of occupational diseases which is musculoskeletal diseases. Because of a rapid change in society and a change in our circumstances, we have many difficulties in examine a business disease closely. In support corroboration of relevance on admission of business, a criterion for dudging afford a basis for a causal relationship of medical science, take the state of working conditions into consideration, and at the same time, give a adaptable decision based on the purpose and point of "The Labor Standard Law" as well as "The Law about Industrial Accident Compensation insurance". In conclusion, it is necessary for the dental hygienists 10 reduce the on-duty hours a day, to make good postures in working, and to remove the stressful conditions in order to reduce the incidence of the lumbago. Good working postures, appropriate rest time, and early detection, care and education of the lumbago could be recommended for the dental hygienists.

기업의 자기주식취득제한 완화에 관한 비교법적 연구 (A comparative legal study on the relaxation of restrictions at the acquisition of own stock in enterprise)

  • This thesis is to explore the relaxation of restrictions at the acquisition of own stock, and to get the results from this system many countries' legislations were alluded as model cases for Korean system. In comparing with America, Japan, Europe(EC 2nd Commercial Law), and England, the final suggestion for Korean companies law as follows: The solution of problems which is derived from the acquisition at own stock in enterprise is to make the optimum situation for the economic development and stability of stock market. So, to solve these problems needs the relaxation of restrictions for this system and by the relaxation of restrictions can get the distribution of its profit to stockholder, and the compensation for employers and employees. Furthermore, through this system the company can achieve the protection against M&A and the supply of company funds. In conclusion the relaxation of restrictions at the acquisition of own stock is acknowledged the necessity, but the problems that would be followed must be necessarily minimized, and to do so, the legal system has to be molded for this purpose and the its procedure(that is, accounting deal of own stock, the fictitious dividend, and non-appliance of tendency control) has to be prior to the legal system.

  • 재난관리는 정부만의 관심사가 아닌 개인과 단체의 자발적 참여를 기반으로 재정립되고 발전시켜야 할 것이다. 본 논문은 재난관리 자원봉사자 관리의 개선방안으로 첫째, 모집과 선발과정에서 개인의 발전이나 자아실현, 보람 및 경제적 이해관계 등을 강조하는 이기적 동기에 중점을 둔 홍보와 모집정책 필요 둘째, 재난관리 자원봉사자들에 대한 교육프로그램을 공통으로 개발할 수 있는 프로세스의 구축 셋째, 재난관리 자원봉사자의 활동 영역을 재난관리의 본질적 업무까지 확대 넷째, 자원봉사활동의 품질평가와 보상 등을 제시하였다.

The Impact of the Covid-19 Crisis on the 21st General Election in Korea

  • Purpose: This paper estimates the impact of the epidemic crisis on election outcomes through investigating the effect of Covid19 crisis on election results of 21st General Election held in April 15th 2020 in Korea. Research design, data and methodology: This study employs Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method using district-level data from Seoul and Gyeonggi province available at National election data in Korea. Results: Despite the current crisis in Korea, Covid-19 has had positive effects on voter turnout on average, after controlling for other factors. On the other hand, the effect of Covid-19 on the voter turnout was negative in districts with a larger aging population and higher health insurance premiums. In addition, Covid-19 negatively impacted vote shares for the incumbent party, while its rival party saw gains in their votes. Conclusion: The effect of Covid-19 election outcomes in Korea is distinct from other countries due to the nationwide acknowledgment of the Korean government's achievement in managing the epidemic. This implies that the crisis management ability of a government is crucial in gaining support for an incumbent party in future elections. Countries facing upcoming elections need to implement acceptable Covid-19 restriction policies as well as economic support for compensation to reap similar benefits.

Mitigation of Budgetary Slack Behavior Through Islamic Religiosity and Budget Control: An Empirical Study of Indonesian Local Companies

  • This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the cognitive effect of Islamic religiosity and budget control in reducing budgetary slack behavior. This study involved 176 managers as respondents in 10 local companies in Eastern Indonesia. Managers who are respondents in thus study work and are spread across 14 provinces in Indonesia. Probability sampling method has been used for this study from the total population with certain criteria. Data analysis has been done using Warp PLS-SEM technique. The results showed that Islamic religiosity cognitive and budget control had a direct negative effect on budgetary slack behavior. The two variables also fully mediate the relationship between participatory budgeting and budget-based compensation schemes on the behavior of budgetary slack in a negative and significant way. These results mean that the two variables are proven to reduce budgetary slack behavior. This empirical evidence at the same time corrects the agency theory's assumptions about opportunistic human nature and always maximizes every potential economic profit. In addition, the results also show that Islamic religiosity cognitive is stronger in reducing budgetary slack behavior. These results can be used to improve the company's budget control system by incorporating elements that motivate religious goals so that it is more effective in reducing budgetary slack behavior.

  • The study covers three components of the facility for protecting public utilities market participants in the public utilities market: prevention of potential poverty, reduction of existing poverty and compensation to the injured party in a case of tort that exacerbates or threatens to exacerbate its poverty. The analysis is based on official statistical information on the activities of the public utilities sector. Operational information of public utility service providers regarding certain indicators of their activity in the work was not studied. This approach narrows the empirical basis of the study, but at the present stage in the context of different rates of implementation of changes in regions, sectors and at the level of individual entities, as well as lack of uniformity in the structure of indicators published by service providers, analysis allows to identify «bottlenecks» of legal regulation, which are systemic in nature and largely independent of the subjective factor.

Job Commitment in FDI Manufacturing Enterprises During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of several factors on employees' job commitment in ten FDI manufacturing businesses in Vietnam's Nghi Son Economic Zone during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The researchers used reliability tests, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling to confirm the relationships between factors when analyzing the effect of variables on job commitment in FDI enterprises. Based on a poll of 481 respondents, the test findings showed that 07 parameters have positive effects on job satisfaction. Professional assurance, compensation, fringe benefits, supervisor, promotion, coworkers, and working conditions all have varying levels of impact. Job satisfaction, in particular, has a significant and positive impact on employees' commitment to their jobs. According to research findings, the COVID-19 pandemic has been and continues to be a unique burden for Vietnamese firms in general and FDI manufacturing enterprises in Nghi Son EZ in particular. As a result, businesses must have appropriate HRM strategies to incentivize employees to recover, stabilize, and develop in the new normal, ensuring employee loyalty to the company.
