Daesoonjinlihoe and Buddhism have found the cause of grudge and agony in the human mind. Fundamentally human being suffers grudge and agony which man in it self makes unless he acquire what he wants. So if human being recognizes the cause of that, the cause would disappear. And there are certainly needed regulation of 'dosu' in Daesoonjinlihoe. That implies the limitation of human effort. The worlds of heaven, earth, human being have to stand up in the same time, and there would appear paradise. In that case human being and the world of divinities are able to be relieved. Compared to that, Buddhism does not admit other Power without human effort and cultivation on oneself. Epistemological awakening of the 'solution of grudge(haewon)' and mokṣa accompany the 'saving each other(sangsaeng)' and maitrī·karuṇā. 'Haewon' and 'sangsaeng' have causal relation, further more epistemological awakening of 'haewon' and practical virtue of 'sangsaeng' would not be detached.

Power distribution onboard vessel is typically configured as ungrounded system due to the ability to continuously supply electric power even when an earth fault occurs. The impedance connections between 3 phase power lines and hull cause the line-to-hull voltages to become unstable and increased in case the impedances are unbalanced, bringing the situation susceptible to electric shock and deterioration of insulation material. Also the line-to-hull voltage can reach to a certain maximum value in the steady state depending on the distributed capacitances and grounding resistances between lines and hull. This study suggests how to find and calculate the maximum line-to-hull voltage in view of magnitude and phase angle based on the vector diagram.

Korea multi-purpose satellite-5 (KOMPSAT-5) is a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite scheduled to be launched in 2010. To satisfy the precision orbit determination (POD) requirement for a high resolution synthetic aperture radar image of KOMPSAT-5, KOMPSAT-5 has atmosphere occultation POD (AOPOD) system which consists of a space-borne dual frequency global positioning system (GPS) receiver and a laser retro reflector array. A space-borne dual frequency GPS receiver on a LEO satellite provides position data for the POD and radio occultation data for scientific applications. This paper describes an overview of AOPOD system and operation concepts of the radio occultation mission in KOMPSAT-5. We showed AOPOD system satisfies the requirements of KOMPSAT-5 in performance and stability.

This research has been carried out to give economical incentives and to promote for the eco-friendly village. A standard model plan for the Korean eco-village has been prepared by systematically applying the results of the research to Boksoo village, which served as an exemplary model. Plans for promoting the Korean eco-village are finally derived after a series of theoretical assessment of conceptual propositions in harnessing natural elements well suited with man-made structures. The eco-friendly village that this study is to develop harnesses natural energy resources and establishes pleasant living environment for human. It minimizes the unjust load against nature and restrains the excessive consumption of irreplaceable indigenous energy and other natural resources on earth. Paraphrasing, the utilization of natural energy resources in the eco-friendly village features various schemes of the related technologies in energy conservation and exploitation of renewable energies including solar thermal, photovoltaic, daylighting, wind power and etc. The eco-friendly village would definitely make our world more healthier than before by suppressing the emission of green house gases from fossil fuels and ever increasing energy consumption.

In this paper, we study the meaning and symbols of the number three and the structure of dividing into three parts in the religions, views of the world and the nature. Also we investigate the meaning of the number three, and the structure of dividing into three in the Samsung myth. According to legend, the 'Three Names' (Samsung-Yang, Ko and Pu) which are three demi-gods emerged from Samsung-hyeol(called Moheung-hyeol), and became the progenitors of the Jeju people who founded the Kingdom of Tamna.

Huangdi Neijing was completed during the several decades after Shijiand before Qilue, whose main content draws from the medical achievements of Qin and Han Dynasty, and is deeply influenced by Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism of Qin and Han Dynasty. What creates the profound impact on its construction of medical theories are the thoughts of this period, such as "Valuing life", "people", "Valuing Yang", "Valuing earth", "the Heaven theory", "the Unity of Man and Nature", and the important works of this period, such as Huai Nan Zi, Chun Qiu Fan Lu, Shiji. Even the astronomy, calendar and medical achievements of this period are the basic material absorbed into the theories of Huangdi Neijing.

Microgravimetry is a rising and important branch developed on the foundation of classical gravimetry. In this paper, methods, techniques and application of microgravimetry for underground Palace are introduced. Some survey curves show agreeable result compared with the theoretical calculation of models. It can be a useful method for looking for underground palace and catacombs.

Most of us spend the greater part of our lives at the chair, but of all the man environments it is maybe the least well-explored share commitment to a cleaner and healthier environment. It has long been chairs belief that the environment is a precious gift. In case of mesh chair, because it depend upon the earth's resources to design and manufacture steel furniture products, human beings feel an abiding responsibility to act wisely in the environmental choices we make, large and small, every day. Ergonomically, it ought to do more than just sit there. It should actively intercede for the health of the person who sits in it longer than it should. Therefore, product design should be approachable to satisfaction of end-users in aspect of value engineering easy to move through analysis of cost reduction factors the purpose of this thesis is to study products for users based on office chair to development of design for office chair by analysis of manufacturing status and methods and problems in Korea through research on actual situation as well as changing process ergonomic study and design of office chair.

We derived the dispersion curves and spectral density for several models constructed from physical property data of representative geology in Korea. Comparison between monopole and dipole sources, between physical properties, and between dispersion curves and spectral density maps have been made. The result was very helpful in sonic data acquisition as well as velocity determination.

The arid regions of western China are currently the focus of extensive exploration and development. This paper reports on recent experience gained by Chinese and Canadian project team members in the use of a variety of Earth observation satellite imagery for oil exploration and environmental assessment exercises in the Kuche area of Xinjiang. Through careful archival data selection and more recent data acquisition schemes, we have established several time series of MODIS, Landsat and Radarsat imagery in order to obtain a better understanding for daily, seasonal as well as decadal changes of the natural environment as well as man-made environmental features.
