The purpose of this study is to develop the standards for construction documents. The standards will facilitate efficient exchange and sharing of construction documents among the participants such as owners, designers, constructors and other related parts throughout construction work process. For this reason, this study is intended to define the requirements for establishing XML-based electronic document standardization system, and to prepare the plan for developing XML electronic document in a consistent way.

It is not an easy task for a user to find the correct documents that a user really wanted at once from a vast amount of the search results. For this reason, various methods of recommending documents by taking the user's preferences into consideration based on the user's document browsing history have been proposed. However, the document recommendation methodology based on the document browsing history also has a limitation that only the information the user has viewed is utilized, but the intent of the user searching for the document is not fully utilized. Therefore, we propose a document recommendation method based on the user's search intent that utilizes information on "Why" the user reads the document, instead of the information on "Who" reads the document. In order to confirm the feasibility of the proposed methodology, an experiment was conducted by analyzing 239,438 actual user's search history of one of the most popular e-commerce platform companies in Korea. As a result, our methodology showed superior performance compared to the existing content-based or simple browsing history-based recommendation model.

The KEC XML Electronic Tax Invoice v3.0 which is a typical example of XML document was developed in 2009 according to the amendment of the Value Added Tax Law in 2008 that obliged all the corporation business to issue tax invoices electronically and submit them to the National Tax Service. The issue and submission of those tax invoices has been implemented since Jan. 2011 through a pilot test in 2010. It has some differences in aspect of standard, developing subject, technologies, and operation with the previous version of it. Above all, it is the first case of the XML document being developed based on international standard and methodologies and distributed nationally. This study aims to guide the future development of same kinds of standard XML document by arranging the development and distribution processes of XML Tax Invoice comprehensively.

Problem of compatibility, content protection, contents circulation ok. was caused between contents offerer and consumers by indiscreet right technical development about digital contents. The MPEG committee proposed MPEG-21 framework for these problem solution and for right managing in MPEG-21 inside XML(eXtensible Markup Language)'s structure REL(Right Expression Language) that is a right expression language propose. Contents protection, circulation, standard right information representation for administration that is reasonable and is the transposition enemy mutually by REL's use doing based on this MPEG-21 were available. Fast correspondence about new technology is necessary circumstance because present MPEG-21 is in study step and REL edit solution as infra technology is required. Also, development of REL document edit system is required mere because this REL document edit has difficulty in edit except expert with MPEG-21 Framework. In this paper, designed and embody about REL document mastication system that right creation and edit are available efficiently about contents easily without comprehension of MPEG-21 framework and client system that present consumption method of REL right document.

We can use document issuance services provided by a school, bank, hospital, company, etc. either by visiting those facilities or by simply visiting their Web sites. Services available through the Internet allow us to use the same services as we do by actually going to those facilities at home or office any time. As much as it saves us time and money, there also arises a problem of information being forged on the Internet or on a printed document. There has to be security functions to deal with the problem. This paper intends to think of the possible security threats and draw out the necessary security functions that an on-line document issuance system should have based on the CC v3.1, so that anyone can use it as reference when they evaluate or introduce the system.

The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the activation of e-contract service for one stop e-trade by analyzing the problems and its solutions in e-contract service at home and abroad. In order to achieve the purpose of this thesis, case studies are done on e-contract service providers such as CECTRUST service of NTT DATA in Japan and HanCM.com of Haansoft in Korea and user companies such as Taisei Corporation using CECTRUST service and Hyundai Card using HanCM.com. The problems in the e-contract service are the lack of e-contract service providers, rare publicity of e-contract service, limited use of e-contract service at only home, higher pricing for e-contract service, short time management of e-contract documents by service providers, no application of newly developed security technology to e-contract service, unsatisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party, absence of lower pricing e-contract service by service provider, authorizing key error in electronic signature under recognized authentication system in case of fail in renewal of digital certificate and reproduction of digital certificate. The solutions of these problems are the upbringing of e-contract service providers, broad publicity of e-contract service, development of e-contract service on a global basis, establishment of lower pricing for e-contract service, long time management of e-contract documents by service providers, application of newly developed security technology such as bio technology to e-contract service, satisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party by designation of recognized e-document repository, development of lower e-contract service by way of application service provider(ASP), introduction of time stamping of e-contract document and signature key value. The limitation of this thesis is that the problems and its solutions could not meet with the broad recognition as they are conferred by intuition because of few e-contract service provider.

As computer-related technologies have been developed, legacy design systems have not been appropriate for new computing environment. Therefore, it is necessary that most of them are either modified or newly developed. However, this requires quite much amount of cost and time. This paper presents a method of extending legacy design system without modification using XML and XSLT. In order to apply the developed method, a good example of legacy design systems, AGMA gear rating system has been extended so as to be suitable for the distributed computing environment. An XML document for AGMA gear rating process is defined. It is transformed to the form of the input document of AGMA gear rating system by XSLT processor according to the transformation rules defined in the AGMA gear rating XSLT document. After that, AGMA gear rating system reads this input document and generates an output document in the server. These operations are automatically executed by the external legacy system controller without user interactions. Using these operations, AGMA gear rating web service has been developed based on SOAP and WSDL to provide the functions of legacy AGMA gear rating system through the distributed network. Any system or user can implement AGMA gear rating process independently to the platform type, without making it for oneself, by simply referring the AGMA gear rating web service via Internet.

This study provides a new operation strategy which can guarantee the data consistency of engineering information among the various intelligent information systems. We present the strategies for the operation of bridges engineering information and the construction methodology of integrated database. The two core standard techniques are adopted to construct the integrated database. One of these standards is the Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data (STEP) for CAD/CAE information and the other is the Extensible Markup Language (XML) for engineering document information. This study can transform a document me into a data type for web-based application modules which assist end-users in searching and retrieval of engineering document data. In addition, relaying algorithm is developed to integrate the two different information, e.g. CAD/CAE information and engineering document information. The pilot application modules for management and maintenance of existing bridge are also developed to show application of the strategy.

XML documents used for exchanging structured documents between heterogeneous distributed systems are spreading among B2B and the industrial world rapidly. This condition brings an object-oriented visualization tool for modeling XML documents. It is hard to apply for DTD - the rule for declaring document type, which is employed in XML, to various industrial field. Thus, W3C announced Recommendation for XML Schema - the rule for declaring new document type which is adaptable to XML and satisfy to user. Document Type which has high reusability and flexibility can be defined owing to that XML Schema is designed by utilization of Object-Oriented-Modelling technique(UML). This document is proposed the specification and an algorithm for mapping XML Schema to UML.

Also, in case use supply chain administration system, because document transmit between corporation use on-line, need messaging system that can transfer XML message In this paper, XML messaging system is designed and implemented. Client requests service in XML and server returns response in XML in this system, So we con more easily and efficiently to exchange document between company this XML messaging system.
