It is one of the crucial components of electronic logistics systems to manage logistics information of cargos and transportation companies and to mediate appropriate brokerage between them. Due to the advance of e-Commerce technologies many kinds of logistics transactions can be handled by means of EDI or XML/EDI applications. but the brokering processing relies mostly on the traditional processes and the research in this field is still at the initial stage. In this paper we study a logistics brokering system for ships and cargos and describe the design and implementation of the system. We analyze the brokering constraints for logistics of cargos and ships and construct an optimization model for their brokering. We also suggest a brokering procedure and a simple heuristic algorithm with respect to the proposed matching criteria. The experimental result shows that the proposed greedy-based heuristic algorithm performs very well. In its response time the proposed algorithm executed within a couple of seconds independently of the number of cargos and the container capacities of ships. The output of the algorithm is very close to that of the optimal solution. showing higher than 95% of approximation. The proposed system is implemented for the Web environment using JSP and PL/SQL.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of logistics service quality and relationship orientation factors on customer satisfaction and loyalty in the electronic commerce context. Based on extensive review of relevant literature, nine components of logistics service quality(i.e. information quality, ordering procedures, ordering release quantities, timeliness, order accuracy, order quality, order condition, order discrepancy handling and personnel contact quality) and six components of relationship orientation(i.e. trust, bonding, communication, shared value, empathy and reciprocity) are introduced in this study. And a conceptual model is developed and five research hypotheses are empirically examined using structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that logistics service quality and relationship orientation are positively and significantly associated with customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction is the antecedent variable of customer loyalty in the Internet Shopping Mall. In addition, a significant impact of logistics service quality on relationship orientation of the customer is revealed. Implications of these findings are discussed, and limitations of the study as well as further research directions are addressed.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to find out how shipping company recognizes making partnership with the third party logistics provider and to give implication. Research design, data and methodology - Personal interview and questionnaire by E-mail, Fax, Mail, and telephone were used. 700 copies of the questionnaires were distributed and 155 copied were returned. Among collected questionnaires, 20 copies were excluded because of insufficient content, and therefore 135 copies were used. Results - Korea should change into new paradigm from old one based on current economic and social systems which has stemmed from bureaucracy, inflexibility chauvinism and equalitarianism. Flexible policies, administration and systems will be needed for better business practices. The Domestic logistics corporation needs to preoccupy strategic logistics hub and network. Conclusions - To be a center of North East Logistics, Korea needs more reasonable business law, systems and policies. Social norms and orders should be established to accomplish political and social security. A paradigm of the policy ruling over development of capital city and satellite cities shall make change.

The application of 4PL could allow for the efficiency of many logistics operations to be greatly increased, for costs to be reduced, and for operations to become more responsive to consumer demand. It is also possible that higher services level and lower cost products could become available as a consequence. However, in order to implementing 4PL actually it is very important to be met to fundamental determinants of 4PL such as formation of logistics experts group, providing of total logistics service, capacity of IT, implementation of e-Business model, capacity of logistics consulting, higher logistics service level, logistics cost reduction, re-engineering of logistics process, focus of core competence etc.

E-commerce is now widely used as the new business opportunity for most companies in Korea. The purpose of this study is first to find the attributes of the logistics service quality in e-commerce environment. We, then, try to find the relationships among service quality, customer satisfaction and repurchase intentions. The results of empirical study show that five attributes(responsiveness, empathy, reliability, accuracy and tangible) are identified as key factors of service quality. Customer satisfaction has also significant effect on repurchase intentions.

The purpose of this research is to analyze four models of global e-trade implementation which was suggested at the advance research of implementation global e-Trade with major trading countries. The main outcomes of this empirical study are as follows. For realizing global e-trade of G-Networking model country we have to implement e-trade in the field of "import & logistics". And for realizing global e-trade of P-Networking model country, it need to try in "settlement & clearance". Furthermore, for realizing global e-Trade of G-Penetration model country, we have known that the field of "import & logistics" would be implemented. Finally for realizing global e-Trade of P-Penetration model country, "settlement & clearance" could be implemented. Also, this study suggests that we have to do negotiation with China and Japan at first, and to try the area of settlement & clearance to implement the global e-Trade with Korea's 10 major trading countries.

The consumer in the 21$\^$st/ century e-business era is developing a taste fur greater professionalism diversity, internationalism and large-scale integration of his or her demands. With these changes in the consumers preferences in mind, e-businesses need to develop a real time track and trace system to accommodate their logistical and consumer service operations. This research paper discusses the development of a object-oriented logistics tracking database system and a web service tracking component necessary to efficiently store and manage the movements of postal goods and provide real time information on logistics trading.

최근에는 B2B 시스템 통합 및 전략적 제휴가 상거래 형태를 변화시키고 있고, 이에 따라 관련 기업들의 효율성이 증가됨으로써 기업간 시스템들의 연동이 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다 이에 본 논문에서는 워크플로우 시스템과 어플리케이션간의 연결을 통한 프로세스 자동화는 Wf-XML HTTP 바인딩을 사용함으로써 가능하며, 워크플로우 시스템과 어플리케이션의 연동을 위해 Wf-XML 문서를 HTTP 프로토콜을 사용하여 전송하는 방법을 논하며, 실제 구현을 통해 연동이 가능함을 보인다.

The emergence of ubiquitous autonomic computing and network environment will change the service architecture information system which will be a new application area in SCM/logistics systems. In this study we surveyed the technical trend map of ubiquitous and its application in SCM/logistics support system design. We described the evolutional model of ubiquitous computing community for SCM/logistics system. It is consisted of three view points; self-growing, autonomic, and context-aware, which will allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology and are useful for proactive SCM/logistics support system. Finally, we suggested a cooperative research planning for the development ubiquitous system between the government research center, university, and industry research activities.

Modern logistics significantly influences the globalization and internationalization processes. Logistics systems are becoming increasingly important in today's rapidly changing environment. On the other hand, the development of global economic integration, business globalization contributes to the creation and development of international logistics systems and global supply chains towards the international market. The aim of the article was to investigate the national logistics systems of developing countries in the context of their integration capabilities. The main methods used in this study are statistical analysis, index, graphical and analytical methods, methods for estimating structural dynamic shifts, comparisons. Commonly used methods of economic research, as well as statistical analysis and interstate comparisons, economic modelling (trend analysis to determine the forecast level of LPI for Ukraine), etc. were also involved. It is noted that the problem of development of logistics systems in developing countries was insufficiently covered in scientific research. The study suggests that the integration capabilities of national logistics systems are determined by the logistics performance of each country and the favourable logistics environment for integration transformations. This allowed analysing the state of the logistics systems of Poland, Bulgaria, India and Ukraine, and identifying the factors that determine it. The logistics environment of Poland, Bulgaria, India and Ukraine, as well as the factors of its formation are evaluated. The components of the logistic portrait of the country in the context of integration capabilities of the logistic system are offered. Trend analysis of LPI was carried out on the example of Ukraine, which showed positive trends in the logistics system and allowed drawing conclusions about increasing integration into international logistics channels based on its geopolitical location, improving the characteristics of the logistics environment, including customs regulation, and improving the efficiency of the national logistics system. Prospects for further research involve studies of the impact of pandemics, globalization, digitalization on logistics systems, including that of developing countries.
