  • Implementing ERP system is inherently a very complex task that involves ongoing training employees to use the new system. However, the traditional methods of ERP training and education have presented many problems. A new form of training, e-learning, has emerged. E-learning enables trainees to sign on classes without restrictions of time, distance, and classroom availability. We suggested several usage strategies and e-learning combined model for ERP related organizational change management.

  • In this paper, we have defined and designed the structure of standardized XML content for supplying efficient e-Learning contents. We have also implemented the prototype of XML contents generator to create the educational contents easily. In addition, we have suggested the contents searching method using Case Base Reasoning and Bayesian belief network to supply XML contents suitable to learners request. The existing e-Learning system based on HTML could not customize and standardize, but XML contents can be reused and made an intelligent learning by supplying an adaptive content according to learners level. For evaluating the efficiency of designed XML content, we make the standard XML content for learning JAVA program in e-Learning system as well as discussing about the integrity and expanding the educational content. Finally, we have shown the architecture and effectiveness of the knowledge-based XML contents retrieval manager.

  • This study was carried out to reduce children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes and establish their healthy lifestyle. To achieve these goals, we developed an educational web site and an e-learning system. The targets of this web site are children, parents and educators. This site has various information about sugar, natrium and fat, and has special menus for each target: such as the 'Let's study' for children, 'Guides for child's eating' for parents, and 'Educational softwares, Lesson plans/materials, and Textbooks/Teaching guides' for educators. We developed three nutrient characters and applied them to the web site. We provided information in the form of texts, images, flash and sounds. This site has special boards in 'Nutrition cafe' menu to interchange information or their successful stories between the connecters. We developed an e-learning system with two courses. One is for junior elementary students and the other is for senior students. Children can study each nutrient step by step in a course according to their academic ability and concern. Also, they can evaluate their academic achievement in this system, which was uploaded into 'Let's study' in children menu in the web site. Conclusively this web site and e-learning system could contribute to reducing children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes by helping children study them systematically and effectively by on-line system. We expect this e-learning system would be a new nutrition education system to make nutrition education more active.

  • The LG Electronics case shows the process whereby an organization evolves as a learning organization through the integration of e-learning and knowledge management. In other words, it shows the process whereby e-learning is recognized as an important means of solving a problem concerning actual worksite operations, as it became one of the daily activities in the organization. In terms of organizational learning, this process points to the fact that e-learning is emerging as the fastest and most effective means of transferring the internally shared value of a company. Recently, advanced corporations and organizations have been endeavoring to boost their internal and external customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, paving the way for changes in their organizational cultures, and establishing learning organizations through e-learning. Therefore, from an advanced viewpoint, e-learning within a company is not a simple system of transferring educational contents, but is a knowledge portal concept connected with knowledge management. To achieve this end, the organization is required to undergo changes that is, it should make the acquisition of learning possible through e-learning and a knowledge management system (KMS) in order to improve corporate performance. Since LG Electronics is utilizing e-learning as a strategic means to change the paradigm of corporate education, and, in particular, is attempting to integrate this with knowledge management, insights that will facilitate the understanding of the core success factors in and challenges to the integration of knowledge management and e-learning can be obtained through this case.

  • In this Paper, we design and implement an e-Learning system with dynamic learning contents Providing and re-time assignment system. The learner can select the dynamic learning contents Providing environments with test and Quiz Phase according to the learners' characters and interest to improve the learning effects. Also, we develop the real-time assignment system which is composed of multiple choice and essay test and can provide the interaction between teacher and learner immediately.

  • The benefits of an e-learning system will not be maximized unless learners use the system. This study proposed and tested models that seek to explain students' satisfaction withe-learning systems. A survey was performed at a women's college in Korea, where students experimentally could choose to register one same course either through e-learning or class-room learning. The questionnaire was filled up by students who took e-learning option. independent variables include expected benefits, familiarity with technology, social influence, and accessibility. Dependent variables include the level of satisfaction, academic achievement, and the amount of the use of systems.

  • Learning system on virtual environment gives the immersive feeling that lacks in existing E-Learning system, excites user's interest, and offers dangerous and expensive education contents. In this paper, we classified the learning categories into four classes: realtime lecture, anytime study, practice education, and the activity of study group. We built the on-line lecture system using Second Life that supports 3D virtual world and mixed reality. We provided virtual learning environment as running developed virtual world on-line lecture system.

  • The Purpose of this study is to embody self-directed learning management system and contents which are considered of learner's interactivity and usability in e-learning environment; It is based on self directed teaching and learning strategies. It divides type of interaction centering on the learners into four categories: (1) learner and instructor (2) learner and learner (3) learner and contents (4) learner and learning management system. The specific elements of learning management system is set up and embodied to present the interaction strategies according to the above-mentioned patterns, to improve the self-directed learning ability and to facilitate an online communication. The learning contents based on the self directed learning strategies, design the interface in due consideration of the learners' usability based on six strategies such as simple navigation, consistency, intuitive interface, linkage, user supports and immediate feedback. This research makes up for the weak points in the self-directed functions of learning management system and links up with learning contents, therefore it has a value to improve learner's interactivity and usability. It is expected that the research results can be helpful in quality improvement of e-learning environment.

  • In order to improve an efficiency of education and acquisition of PACS administor in Radiological technologist, we implement an e-Learing databank system providing more efficiently provide medical questions set for the integrated education and PACS administor without the limitation of time and space based on XML that is the standard of exchange and transmission of Web documents via Internet. The proposed system is composed of administration module and user module. The former supports some functions: a creation, classification, and management of Radiological question set. Our system can elevate ability of learning and interchange of information among Radiological technologist making preparation of PACS administor for Radiological technologist examination. Finally, our system can maximize an effectiveness of education by evaluating and training users individually with various level according to the user's ability of learning and realization.
