Ultrasound devices diagnose many disease, which is widely used, can not be standardized quantitative evaluated in order to evaluate sonography image of quality. Therefore, in this papers, aims to get correct image in order to accurate diagnosis by figuring out the appropriate parameter based on each target by measuring distortion which results in the analyzation of the sensitivity of SNR and the histogram of signal by manipulating parameter of 8 mm target in ATS-539 multipurpose phantom. Equipment using Acuson sequoia 512, convex probe and utilizes multi-objective phantom. experiment method is that first you put the phantom on the flat and acquire 85 sheets of image, changing frequency(2,3,4 MHz, harmonic 3, 4, 4.5 MHz), Focus(2, 4, 6 unit), and Dynamic Range(58, 68, 78, 88, 98) for a 8 mm structure. through the Image J program. The sensitivity angle of 8mm target through Image J program is gauged by each separate target SNR and the distorted angle subtract and measure Histogram of background from Histogram of signal and take top 40% from the given result value above. According to parameter variation we found out proper parameter by acquiring SNR of sensitivity and distortion data for aspect of transition. The more this findings have Focus, the lower distortion value and at 4 MHz frequency this result have high SNR and low distortion value. Dynamic Range got an appropriate image on 88 and 98. It is considered on the basis of the experimental data, the probability of disease diagnosis will get higher.

Dynamic analysis using impulse responses is formulated to estimate effect of slider rail shape on dynamic responses in near-field optical recording drive. Impulse responses are obtained on numerical nonlinear model including rigid motion of a slider and fluid motion of an air bearing under the slider. Dynamic characteristics of slider motion are evaluated by utilizing the decay ratio of impulse responses and modal frequencies from frequency response functions. The dynamic characteristics of the designed NFR slider are checked by comparing those of a HDD slider(Nutcracker). Also, sensitivities of slider Position conditions and rotation speed on the dynamic characteristics are investigated.

This study is to suggest a method to evaluate the detector performance using change of absorbed dose and histogram according to sensitivity change of Auto Exposure Control(AEC). The experiment site is skull, abdomen pelvis and the accuracy of the detector was evaluated by measuring the absorbed dose of the detector sensitivity S200, S400, S800, S1000. Also the dynamic range of the detector was evaluated through the histogram analysis. As a result, the absorbed dose decreased gradually as the sensitivity was set higher from S200 to S1000. And through the sensitivity histogram analysis, as the sensitivity of the skull is set higher, the amount of information at both ends of the histogram is lost. Abdomen and pelvis areas showed underflow phenomena in which the amount of information in the first part of the histogram was lost as the sensitivity was set higher. In conclusion, the detector accurately implemented the sensitivity change, but the dynamic range of the image due to the sensitivity change of the AEC due to the deterioration of the detector performance can not be realized properly and it was found that the evaluation through the absorbed dose and the histogram is useful when evaluating the performance of the detector.

In this study, the prototype structure of seismically designed steel moment frame was analyzed statically and dynamically in order to demonstrate the applicability of energy-based approximate analysis with the dynamic effect of sudden column loss in the evaluation of the collapse resistance and a method for assessing the sensitivity to progressive collapse was proposed. For the purpose of comparing the structural behavior of buildings with different structural systems, the sensitivity of the structure to the sudden removal of vertical members can be used as a significant measure. The energy-based approximate analysis prediction for the prototype structure considered in the study showed good agreement with the dynamic analysis result. In the sensitivity evaluation, the structural robustness index that indicates the ability of a structure to resist collapse induced by abnormal loads was used. It was confirmed that the proposed methods can be used conveniently and rationally in progressive collapse analysis and design.

Performance and efficiency of hybrid (hydraulic-mechanical) pick-up device of deep sea manganese nodules collector are very sensitive to altitude and altitude of pick-up head relative to undulating seafloor. For this reason, motion control of pick-up head relative to the changing deep sea topography and other disturbances is of particular importance in design of pick-up device. The concept of design axiom is applied to a pick-up device of hybrid type. Kinematic analysis conducted in absolute Cartesian coordinates gives position, velocity, and acceleration of the hydraulic cylinders which enable the pick-up head to keep the preset optimal distance from seafloor. Inverse dynamic analysis provides the driving forces of hydraulic cylinders and the reaction forces at each joint. Design sensitivity analysis is performed in order to investigate the effects of possible design variables on the change of the maximum strokes of hydraulic cylinders. The direct differentiation method is used to obtain the design sensitivity coefficients.

Performance and efficiency of deep seabed collector is a primary factor for feasibility of commercial deep ocean mining. The efficiency of manganese nodules collector depends on vehicle mobility relative to undulating seafloor and is attributed pickup head to keep altitude and elevation of it against seafloor. For this reason, motion control of pickup head relative to the changing deep-sea topography and other disturbances is of particular importance in design of pickup device. The concept of design axiom is applied to a pickup device of hybrid type in order to evaluate the concept design. Kinematic analysis conducted in absolute Cartesian coordinates gives position, velocity, and acceleration of the hydraulic cylinders which enable the pickup head to keep the preset optimal distance from seafloor. Design sensitivity analysis is performed in order to investigate the effects of possible design variables on the change of the maximum strokes of hydraulic cylinders. Damage detection plays a very important role to the maintenance of bridge structures. Traditional damage detection methods are usually based on structural dynamic properties, which are acquired from pre-installed sensors on the bridge. This is not only time-consuming and costly, but also suffers from poor sensitivity to damage if only natural frequencies and mode shapes are concerned in a noisy environment. Recently, the idea of using the dynamic responses of a passing vehicle shows a convenient and economical way for damage detection of bridge structures. Inspired by this new idea and the well-established tap test in the field of non-destructive testing, this paper proposes a new method for obtaining the damage information through the acceleration of a passing vehicle enhanced by a tapping device. Since no finger-print is required of the intact structure, this method can be easily implemented in practice. The logistics of this method is illustrated by a vehicle-bridge interaction model, along with the sensitivity analysis presented in detail. The validity of the method is proved by some numerical examples, and remarks are given concerning the potential implementation of the method as well as the directions for future research.
To solve the problem of detecting structural damage, a two-stage method using the Kalman filter and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is proposed. In this method, the first PSO population is enhanced using the Kalman filter method based on dynamic responses. Due to noise in the sensor responses and errors in the damage detection process, the accuracy of the damage detection process is reduced. This method proposes a novel approach for solve this problem by integrating the Kalman filter and sensitivity analysis. In the Kalman filter, an approximate damage equation is considered as the equation of state and the damage detection equation based on sensitivity analysis is considered as the observation equation. The first population of PSO are the random damage scenarios. These damage scenarios are estimated using a step of the Kalman filter. The results of this stage are then used to detect the exact location of the damage and its severity with the PSO algorithm. The efficiency of the proposed method is investigated using three numerical examples: a 31-element planer truss, a 52-element space dome, and a 56-element space truss. In these examples, damage is detected for several scenarios in two states: using the no noise responses and using the noisy responses. The results show that the precision and efficiency of the proposed method are appropriate in structural damage detection.

Tensile and LCF(low cycle fatigue) tests were carried out in air at wide temperature range 20$^{\circ}C$-750$^{\circ}C$ and strain rates of 1${\times}$10$\^$-4//s-1${\times}$10$\^$-2/ to ascertain the influence of strain rate on tensile and LCF properties of prior cold worked 316L stainless steel, especially focused on the DSA(dynamic strain aging) regime. Dynamic strain aging induced the change of tensile properties such as strength and ductility in the temperature region 250$^{\circ}C$-600$^{\circ}C$ and this temperature region well coincided with the negative strain rate sensitivity regime. Cyclic stress response at all test conditions was characterized by the initial hardening during a few cycles, followed by gradual softening until final failure. Temperature and strain rate dependence on cyclic softening behavior appears to result from the change of the cyclic plastic deformation mechanism and DSA effect. The DSA regimes between tensile and LCF loading conditions in terms of the negative strain rate sensitivity were well consistent with each other. The drastic reduction in fatigue resistance at elevated temperature was observed, and it was attributed to the effects of oxidation, creep and dynamic strain aging or interactions among them. Especially, in the DSA regime, dynamic strain aging accelerated the reduction of fatigue resistance by enhancing crack initiation and propagation.
