The setting algorithm of cloaking region using dummy which is proposed in this paper solves the problem which counts the building with duplication that exists in several cells of Privacy Grid by adding the building grouping item to the index structure of the existing Privacy Grid, and by increasing K value after searching the contiguous cells in the comer of each building, the exposure problem of private location information due to the minimum cloaking region setting of the existing GBC is solved. In addition, this paper reduces the searching time of K value by setting smaller cloaking region than Privacy Grid and GBC with dummy K before expanding cloaking region and strengthens the location information protection of users using dummy K.

This paper proposes a multiple time-series model with dummy variables for one-hour ahead load forecasting. We used 11 dummy variables that were classified by day characteristics such as day of the week, holiday, and special holiday. Also, model specification and selection of input variables including dummy variables were made by test statistics such as AIC(Akaike Information Criterion) and t-test statistics of each coefficient. OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) method was used for estimation and forecasting. We found out that model specifications for each hour are not identical usually at 30％ of optimal significance level, and dummy variables reduce the forecasting error if they are classified properly. The proposed model has much more accurate estimates in forecasting with less MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error).

OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) communications system is very attractive for the high data rate transmissionin the frequency selective fading channel. Since OFDM has high PAPR(peak-to-average power ratio), OFDM signal may be distorted by the nonlinear HPA(high power amplifier). In this paper, we propose an improved dummy sequence scheme for reducing the PAPR in OFDM communication system. This method inserts each different dummy sequence at the predefined sub-carriers fur PAPR reduction. After IFFT, the OFDM data signal with the lowest PAPR is selected to transmit. The complementary sequence is used as dummy sequence. So, it can cut down the computation time and quantity because it dose not require the peak value optimization for finding the phase rotation factor and the transmission of the side information about the rotation factor unlike the PTS method.

Multiple genes interacting is a difficult due to the limitations of parametric statistical method like as logistic regression for detection of gene effects that are dependent solely on interactions with other genes and with environmental exposures. Multifactor dimensionality reduction(MDR) statistical method by dummy variables was applied to identify interaction effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) responsible for longissimus mulcle dorsi area(LMA), carcass cold weight(CWT) and average daily gain(ADG) in a Hanwoo beef cattle population.

A new fluorescent dummy load to replace one of the fluorescent lamps in a dual lamp type rapid-start ballast for halving the lamp power is proposed. Using a circuit composed of a fundamental compensation circuit and a harmonic filter circuit, a new fluorescent dummy load having superior characteristics than a conventional dummy load is developed. The design principle and architecture of the proposed fluorescent dummy load is explained and verified by experiments.

The purpose of this study is to do research hairdressers' knowledge of hairless head dummy's brand name, and to suggest and develop various hairless head dummy for the students who are learning hair styling in the colleges and the academies, for the hairdressers working in the beauty salons. Using only one and same kind of hairless head model is not appropriate for hairdressers and students being trained hair styling skill, because people have a variety of head shapes. Three hundred twenty nine persons who live in Iksan area are selected as subjects. The results of the study are as follow: by the analysis of subjects' knowledge of hairless head dummy's brand name, most of them didn't know it exactly. This study deduced that there is a significant relation between the utility of hairless head dummy and subjects' intention of purchasing the dummy. To put it in detail, in case of college students, there is little significant difference between them. But in case of academy students, there is. By the regression analysis, especially, in case of hairdressers working in beauty salons and academy students, four conditions did significantly matter in their purchasing the dummy: first, whether the respondents owns it, second, whether it is helpful to themselves, third, whether they have ever used foreign products and, finally, whether they have intention to purchase various hairless head dummys or not. In conclusion, it depended on each group position whether their knowledge of brand names of hairless head model affects their purchase of the dummy or not.

This study investigates the durability of car body and the safety of passenger inside car body in the case of the impact contact at passenger and car body. In case of front impact contact, maximum von Mises equivalent stress and principal stress become 3240.7MPa and 1634MPa respectively at the rear part of car body and the neck of dummy. And maximum total deformation occurred with 14.145mm at the hand of dummy. In case of side impact contact, maximum von Mises equivalent stress and principal stress become 7687.9MPa and 1690.7MPa respectively at the front part of car body and the lap of dummy. And maximum total deformation occurred with 16.414 mm at the foot of dummy. In case of rear impact contact, maximum von Mises equivalent stress and principal stress become 2366.6MPa and 1447MPa respectively at the front part of car body and the neck of dummy. And maximum total deformation occurred with 7.548mm at the rear part of car body. As the maximum von-Mises stress at side impact is shown with more than 700MPa as over two times at front or rear impact the danger of car body is increased. The great possibility of damage is shown at neck and hand of dummy with more than total displacement of 10mm.

A white-box environment refers to a situation where the internal information of an algorithm is disclosed. The AES white-box encryption was first announced in 2002, and in 2016, a side-channel analysis for white-box encryption called Differential Computation Analysis (DCA) was proposed. DCA analysis is a powerful side-channel attack technique that uses the memory information of white-box encryption as side-channel information to find the key. Although various countermeasure studies against DCA have been published domestically and internationally, there were no evaluated or analyzed results from experiments applying the hiding technique using dummy operations to DCA analysis. Therefore, in this paper, we insert LU T-shaped dummy operations into the WBC-AES algorithm proposed by S. Chow in 2002 and quantitatively evaluate the degree of change in DCA analysis response depending on the size of the dummy. Compared to the DCA analysis proposed in 2016, which recovers a total of 16 bytes of the key, the countermeasure proposed in this paper was unable to recover up to 11 bytes of the key as the size of the dummy decreased, resulting in a maximum decrease in attack performance of about 68.8%, which is about 31.2% lower than the existing attack performance. The countermeasure proposed in this paper confirms that the attack performance significantly decreases as smaller dummy sizes are inserted and can be applied in various fields.

The purpose of this study is to make an ideal dummy for adult Maltese with proper investigation of its character and direct measurement of dog body-shape. The results of the study are as follows; First, there were 6 factors to affect the characteristics of Maltese body in the analysis, which are size of body, leg shape, chest shape, leg thickness, body length, length between fore-legs. In the cluster analysis with the 6 factors there were two types of Maltese body. Type 1 has body characteristics with large body, thick leg, and small distance between front legs. Type 2 has average size of all factors including body size, leg thickness, and length between fore-legs. Second, type 2 was selected as a representative one to make a dummy reflected body shape of characteristics because it took 67.71% from entire considered factors and has average value in the measured size. The first dummy pattern was planned by copying the surface area of the representative body shape with the method of surgical tape. A dummy of single body with trunk and legs was made using 30's cotton cloth, polyester inside batting, compressed form PVC and metallic wire on the joint of trunk and legs to support dummy shape. The second pattern was made by correcting size difference of the pattern and adding the pattern of neck covering plate, metal magnetic button was inserted on the center of joint area of trunk and legs to make detachable legs for easy slip on and off the pet's wear.

Purpose: To provide practical education, most universities should be equipped with medical appliances in need. As compensatory measures, Gimcheon College has produced in-house dummy linac and dummy accessories, we are going to report efficiency and its usage. Materials and Methods: Dummy linear accelerator (DLINAC-001) has the same mechanical functions as rotation of gantry and collimation in linear accelerator. In addition, to maximize practical education, we have produced and utilized in-house custom blocks, wedge filters, electron cones and head rests. Results: The in-house produced linear accelerator with the same mechanical functions as the linear accelerator, DLINAC-001 can be effectively used in practicing diverse medical instruments. Conclusion: We have produced dummy linear accelerators and dummy accessories and utilized them in practice classes, which can provide the students with clinical training in diverse fields. Consequently, the students exposed to the maximized educational effectiveness can be easily equipped with the practical competence required in real clinical fields.
