말뚝항타시 발생하는 응력파의 전파특성에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Stress Wave Propagation from Pile Driving)

  • The ground-borne vibration from pile driving is causing many public discontents. However, because of the fact that the characteristics of wave propagation and attenuation are not well understood, systematic and effective vibration reduction measures can not be taken. This paper attempts to study the propagation of stress waves induced by the pile driving. To simulate the wave propagation in a semi-infinite domain, the so-called absorbing boundaries are incorporated in the finite element method and a series of numerical simulations is performed. Numerical results show that the surface displacement and velocity increase first and then decrease as the pile penetration depth becomes larges.

콘크리트말뚝 타입시 발생하는 압축응력의 산정식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Formulae for the Compressive Stresses in Concrete Piles during Driving)

  • 말뚝은 타입될 때 가장 큰 응력이 발생하며 이 응력이 말뚝의 허용응력보다 크면 말뚝이 손상 되어 위험을 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 사전에 이를 정확히 예측하여 과도한 항타를 미연에 방지해야 한다. 콘크리트말뚝 타입 시 말뚝에 발생하는 압축응력의 예측방법은 여러 가지가 있으며 현재는 파동이론의 전산해석으로 만족스러운 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 그러나 경우에 따라서는 이 방법의 적용이 곤란할 수 있으며, 이 때에는 간단한 산정식을 적용하는 것이 실용적이다. 본 연구에서는 이 산정식들 중 비교적 합리적이라고 평가되는 산정식들 만을 선정하고 현장에서 실측한 항타응력과 선정된 산정식들로부터 구한 값을 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과 Uto와 Huyuki의 식이 비교적 정확한 값을 제공하며 지반 및 시공조건에 따라 이 값에 감소계수를 곱하여 수정하면 보다 더 정확한 값을 얻을 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

교통사고 야기자의 외상 후 스트레스 장애 발생과 운전태도 변화 메커니즘 분석 (A Study on the Traffic Accident Offenders' PTSD Occurrence and Analysis of the Changing Mechanism of Driving Attitudes)

  • 본 연구는 교통사고 야기자의 PTSD(Posttraumatic Stress Disorder) 발생 구조와 원인, 치료방법 선택에 기초적인 자료를 제공하기 위하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 교통사고 피해자가 아닌 가해자를 대상으로 추정만 하던 교통사고 가해자의 PTSD 현황을 전국적인 설문조사를 통하여 파악할 수 있었다. 둘째, 교통사고 야기자를 대상으로 교통사고의 발생과 밀접한 20가지의 운전 상황에서 교통사고 이후의 운전태도 변화를 요인분석으로 3가지로 유형화할 수 있었다. 셋째, PTSD 유 무별로 주요 운전 상황에서의 운전태도 변화의 차이가 있음을 t검정을 통하여 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 t검정을 통하여 유의하다고 나타난 6가지의 운전 상황을 구조방정식 모형에 적용하여 PTSD 관련 변수와 운전태도 변화와의 관계를 분석하는 모형을 구축할 수 있었다. 구축된 모형의 분석을 통해, PTSD 저감 예방을 위한 대책 마련 및 PTSD 저감을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다.

BMT 구동장치의 유한요소해석 및 형상변수 최적화 (Finite Element Analysis and Geometric Parameter Optimization for BMT Driving Assembly)

  • Base-mounted type(BMT) driving assembly in CNC machine tools is an indispensable part to improve productivity by reducing tool changeover time and to meet the ever-increasing demand of precision machine tools. This study aimed to perform finite element analysis and geometric parameter optimization to improve the efficiency of BMT driving assembly. First, simulations for three-dimensional structural and vibration analysis were performed using ANSYS/Workbench on the initial geometric models of BMT driving assembly. After analyzing stress and deformation concentration zones, several new geometrical models were designed and evaluated by design of experiments and ANSYS/DesignXplorer. Through a series of analysis-evaluation-modification cycles, it was seen that designed models were effective in determining optimal geometry of BMT driving assembly.

  • The type of physiological stress involved in driving is probably complex, and a comprehensive study involving recording of physiological signals such as electrocardiogram(ECG), electromyogram(EMG). Changes in relevant Physiological parameters, such as ECG, EMG, reflected changes in driver status. In order to derive the mental and physical load of driving a motor vehicle from driving behaviour alone it is necessary to establish the relationship between changes in a driver's physiological parameters and behavioral parameters. In this study, we choose two different condition and investigated driver's status using HRV analysis method. Many previous studies have shown that increasing driving time causes a variation of HRV signal.

  • 말뚝박기에서 항타지지력을 추정하기 위하여 수많은 항타공식이 널리 사용되고 있으나 말뚝의 지지력은 해머-말뚝-지반토의 복잡한 상호작용에 의하여 변화하기 때문에 어느 공식이 현장조건에 가장 적합한 공식이라 판단하기는 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 파동이론과 말뚝의 잔류응력에 의하여 항타지지력을 해석하므로서 현장에서 간편하게 추정할 수 있는 신뢰도가 높은 산출식을 유도하여 이를 고찰하였다.

  • Recently, the trend of zero emissions has increased in automotive engineering because of environmental problems and regulations. Therefore, the development of battery electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid/plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs/PHEVs), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) has been mainstreamed. In particular, for light-duty electric vehicles, improvement in electric motor performance is directly linked to driving range and driving performance. In this paper, using an improved design for the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), the EV driving range for the light-duty EV was extended. In the electromagnetic design process, a 2D finite element method (FEM) was used. Furthermore, to consider mechanical stress, ANSYS Workbench was adopted. To conduct a vehicle simulation, the vehicle was modeled to include an electric motor model, energy storage model, and regenerative braking. From these results, using the advanced vehicle simulator (ADVISOR) based on MATLAB Simulink, a vehicle simulation was performed, and the effects of the improved design were described.

동역학 시뮬레이션을 통한 농업부산물 수집기 체결장치의 안전성 분석 (Simulation Study on the Safety of a Fastening Device of Agricultural By-product Collector)

  • In this study, the safety of fastening device for the agricultural by-product collector was evaluated according to the driving ground conditions by deriving the stress, static safety factor, and fatigue life using dynamic simulation. A 3D modeling of agricultural by-product collector was carried out, and simulation model was developed by applying the material properties. As a result of dynamic simulation, the magnitude of the maximum stress generated in the fastening device was the highest when driving on the flat off-road, followed by sloped pave-road and flat pave-road. Static safety factor and fatigue life were the highest when driving on the flat pave-road, followed by sloped pave-road and flat off-road. The safety of fastening device was confirmed that static safety factor was more than 1.0 and service life exceeded 9 years in all driving ground conditions.

  • In this paper, static analysis of eddy current brake's frame, which is one of key structural components of brake system for high speed train, was performed in order to evaluate the design by computer simulation. Calculation was carried out in general for the driving modes 'braking' and 'frame in upper position(Brakes inactive)'. Several yield stress load cases and fatigue load cases were analysed for each of the driving modes. The fatigue load resulting from the Multi Body System simulation was also taken into consideration. The simulation results shows that some of structural part should be improved for more increasing reliability of frame.

스테이터의 재질에 따른 Cross형 초음파 회전모터의 구동특성 (Driving Characteristics of the Cross Type Ultrasonic Rotary Motor Dependent on the Materials of the Stator)

  • Novel structure ultrasonic motors which have cross type stator were designed and fabricated. Driving characteristics of the motors were analyzed and measured by changing the materials of the stator. This ultrasonic motor has stator with hollowed cross bar and the stator rotate the rotor using elliptical displacement of the inside tips. This motion is generated by lateral vibration mode of cross bars. This stator was analyzed by finite element analysis depandent on stator's materials. And the cross type ultrasonic motors were made by analyzed results. The larger displacements were obtained, when the density of material was decreased. But the stress was increased when the stator's material has large density and Young's modulus. The fabricated one has high speed and torque in large stress on contact point between rotor and stator. The stress was more effected on speed and torque than the displacement.
