Current Control of the Forklift using a Fuzzy Controller

  • In general, the forklift driven by DC motor drive system is used in the industrial field. Classically, the DC motor is controlled by current control using proportion control method, by output torque following the load on the plane like a manual operation. But in the industrial field, the forklift is demanded the robust drive mode. Some cases of the mode, there aretrouble in torque control following slope capacity. The control is sensitive concerning about slope angle and output speed, various control method is studied for stability of speed control. In this paper, I apply current control for the self-tuning using the fuzzy controller to obtain robust, stable speed control and use stable, high efficiency control using DSP as main controller for high speed processor, embody dynamic characteristic of control compared the PI controller to the fuzzy controller.

VSI-IM 구동 시스템을 위한 SHE PWM의 최적 스위칭 패턴 (Optimal Switching Pattern of SHE PWM for VSI-IM Drive System)

  • This paper is proposed one method of the exact optimal switching pattern of Selected Harmonic Elimination(SHE) Pulse Width Modulation(PWM). It defined Harmonic Elimination Band (HEB) at Constant Voltage(CV) and sought all solutions which are included HEB. Then, it calculated the Generalized Klirr Factor(GKF) beling to this solution and decided the optimal switching pattern which is minimized GKF. This optimal switching solution is used as initial condition of Newto Raphson(NR) method of decided easily switching pattern at Variable Voltage(VV). We desined the inverter by Power Transister(PTR) and implemented variable speed drive of Induction Motor(IM) in order to verify the validity of this theoretical proposition, then shown this results by comparison and analysis.

  • 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기는 고출력, 고효율 및 직권전동기 구동특성 등으로 견인구동용으로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 전동기를 4상한 구동하기 위한 발전영역에서 제어는 쉽지 않다. 본 논문은 전류제한법에 의해 안정된 발전제동이 가능한 제어방식을 제안하였다. 전동기 구동시는 기준전류제한방식과 위상각 제어방식으로 속도제어를 행하고, 발전제동모드에서는 상전류가 발산하지 않는 조건을 산정하여서 이 값을 기준전류로 한 전류제한방식을 채택하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험에 의해 제안한 방식의 타당성을 확인하였다.

  • As a menas of designing a robust servo system for electrical motor drive system, an iterative learning control method is proposed by employing the structure of the model algorithmic control. A sufficient condition for the convergency is shown, and via simulation for permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system, it is demonstrated 1hat the method yields a 'good performance even in the presence of the external load distrurbances.

  • The goal of this paper is optimal switching angle of switched reluctance motor drive system fur maximum energy ratio. A new magnetizing method with a low-frequency increasing the energy conversion ratio that is related to the efficiency of motor is proposed. As the results, it improved the efficiency about 2[%]. And a torque ripple is also sufficiently reduced compared with that of the conventional approach. In order tn start softly regardless of large ripple torque, the profile of phase current is predicted by the ANFIS, and current control mode was adapted when it is operated under the starting speed. Variable implementations en the fields will guarantee the more practical drive system.

  • The rotor position information is needed to control the speed of SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor). The information of the rotor position have been generally acquired by using the encoder or the resolver. Speed sensors, however, occasionally malfunction under the hostile environment such as EMI, dust, high temperature and humidity, etc. There have been many efforts to drive the motor without speed sensors. In this paper, the EKF(Extanded Kalman Filter) theory is proposed to drive the SRM without speed sensors. Proposed method keeps a robust speed estimation performance against the input noise because it includes a noise model of measuring noise within the system. The validity of the proposed method has been examined by simulations.

자동볼평형장치가 부착된 광디스크 드라이브의 동특성해석 (Dynamic Analysis of an Optical Disk Drive with an Automatic Ball Balancer)

  • Dynamic behaviors and stability of an optical disk drive coupled with an automatic ball balancer (ABB) are analyzed by a theoretical approach. The feeding system is modeled a rigid body with six degree-of-freedom. Using Lagrange's equation, we derive the nonlinear equations of motion for a non -autonomous system with respect to the rectangular coordinate. To investigate the dynamic stability of the system in the neighborhood of the equilibrium positions, the monodromy matrix technique is applied to the perturbed equations. On the other hand, time responses are computed by the Runge -Kutta method. We also investigate the effects of the damping coefficient and the position of ABB on the dynamic behaviors of the system.

  • A vibrating angular rate sensor with tuning fork type resonator of microstructure (940*820 .mu. m$^{2}$) was designed and will be fabricated by polysilicon surface micromaching. The angular rate sensor is driven in a lateral direction by electrostatic force of comb drive electrodes, and vertical vibrations of the sensor, thich is detected capacitively, are produced by Coriolis forces due to an external angular rate. Mechanical Q factors and a difference between the frequencies of the two resonant modes, the driving mode and detecting mode, play a great role in increasing the sensitivity of the sensor. To be a highly sensitive sensor, it was designed to have as small frequency discrepancy of the two resonant modes as possible. Finite element method was used for the modal analysis. Several design parameters were selected and their contributions to the modal frequencies were investigated. A method was presented for tuning the detecting mode frequency by DC bias on the drive electrodes.

Advanced Brushless DC Motor Drive without Position Sensor for Home Appliances

  • This paper describes advanced brushless DC motor drive without position sensor for home appliances with compressor to reduce the pulsating currents and vibration. The proposed method limits the motor currents during starting period and reduces commutation torque ripple during sensorless operating period. Experimental results show that the proposed method implemented in an inverter for a BLDC motor driven compressor considerably reduces not only the pulsating currents but also vibration of the home appliances.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy tuning method of a control gain in the discrete-time repetitive controller is proposed for precise tracking control of a system whose reference signal is repetitive. The control gain is modified by fuzzy rules which use the magnitude and the variation ofthe maximum output error in the previous repetitive period. The proposed method is applied to a direct drive 2-axis SCARA-type robot and, it is illustratedby computer simulations and real-time experimentation that better performance can be obtained that the fixed gain-based repetitive controller.
