계층분석과정기법(AHP)을 이용한 하천자연도평가법 개선 (The Evaluation of River Naturalness Improvement Using AHP)

  • 하천환경정비의 방향을 제시하기 위해서는 하천의 자연도를 평가하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 박봉진 등이 제안한 하천자연도평가법을 개선하여 평가항목별 가중치를 산정하고, 계층분석과정(AHP)을 적용하였다. 토목공학과 환경공학을 전공한 83명의 전문가 집단을 구성하고 설문조사를 시행하여, 하천자연도평가법의 평가항목별 가중치를 산정하였다. 가중치 산정결과 총 14개 평가항목 중에서 수질, 흐름의 다양성, 저수로변 식생, 수로의 굴곡, 홍수터의 식생, 저수로 폭 다양성, 하상재료의 다양성 등 7개 항목의 가중치가 높았다. 개선된 하천자연도평가법을 회야강, 안양천, 아미천에 적용하였고, 자연성이 훼손된 구간에 대한 변별력이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 개선된 하천자연도평가법을 하천환경정비사업에서 사업구간을 선정하는 방법으로 활용할 수 있다.

옥상녹화 후 인공토양의 이화학적 특성 변화 (Changes in the Physiochemical Characteristics of Artificial Soil after Rooftop Planting)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental material and information for the plant maintenance after rooftop planting through physiochemical characteristics. The characteristics of artificial soils after rooftop planting from 1993 to 1999 was investigated. Fourteen investigation areas were selected from 4 cities(2 areas selected by each year). The analysis of the circumstances of the areas, the physical characteristics, and the chemical characteristics of the soil were conducted. The artificial soil pH ranged 5.26∼7.40 showing that after construction the soil pH tended to decrease. The soil bulk density of the site was lowest in 1999, 0.15g/㎤, and used to increase toward 1993. We found the fact that the soil bulk density increased gradually after rooftop application . The coefficients of permeability of the soils range from 0.016 to 0.052 cm/sec, which seemed to be in good permeability level. The artificial soils had relatively high water moisture capacity of 62.69∼71.36%. The soil organic matter content of the artificial soils ranged from 0.43 to 1.34%. The exchangeable caution concentration in the artificial soil ranged, Na, 2.36∼4.71mg·{TEX}$kg^{-1}${/TEX}, Mg 0.88∼2.84mg·{TEX}$kg^{-1}${/TEX},K 2.97∼9.61 mg·{TEX}$kg^{-1}${/TEX}, and Ca 9.39∼28.23 mg·{TEX}$kg^{-1}${/TEX}. The amount of total N ranged from 0.003 to 0.286% in study sites. Soil chemical properties varied year to year and showed little tend. The research results showed that some characteristics of the artificial soil were changed after rooftop planting, i.e., soil pH and soil bulk density. Soil bulk density had a negative relationship with the coefficient of permeability, showing that the drainage condition might be limited after some period. This study suggests that a diversity of the research in the changes of the plant growth basis on the areas after construction.

장소가치 개념에서의 플레이스 브랜딩 평가 방안 (Research on Place Branding Evaluation based on Place Value)

  • 플레이스는 단순한 물리적 공간보다는 확장된 의미이다. 따라서 장소를 대상으로 하는 모든 활동들은 이와 같이 다양한 관계 구조를 지닌 장소의 특성을 이해하고 핵심적으로 반영해야 한다. 최근에 주목받고 있는 플레이스 브랜딩도 예외는 아니다. 본 연구는 플레이스 브랜딩을 장소와 가치라는 차원에서 재검토하고, 이를 통하여 보다 체계적이고 구체적인 평가체계를 구축하고자 한다. 새로운 평가체계의 구축은 다음과 같은 문제 제기를 통해 얻고자 하는 목적을 충족하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 장소가치를 중심으로 하는 플레이스 브랜딩을 새롭게 정의하여 플레이스 브랜딩 시스템의 정확성과 보편성을 확보하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 작게는 역동적인 플레이스 브랜딩 활동에 일익하고, 크게는 도시디자인 관련 평가 모델로 활용될 수 있도록 한다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

대학캠퍼스 건축물의 형태적 요소 및 이미지평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image Evaluation and Morphological Elements of Buildings In the University Campus)

  • This study evaluates the relationship among the evaluation structure of morphological elements, the satisfaction on exterior elements, and the image evaluation for the campus landmarks by campus type. The investigation results are summarized as follows. 1) The university headquarter was nominated as the university landmark, and the main reason for the nomination was the building's historic and locational value. 2) Of the morphological elements of the campus landmark, 'proportion and balance' and 'harmony and order' were deemed important, while 'diversity' was deemed less important. 3) For the satisfaction on the facility's exterior elements, the evaluation structure was different for each university. However, the factor of 'location of the facility' was deemed the biggest factor for satisfaction for all universities, while the facility's 'color and material' were found to be the most dissatisfying factors. 4) The image evaluation on the facility was different for each university. Although there was a strong skeptical image about 'liveliness', there was a very positive image about 'elegance' and 'scale'. 5) On the relationship between the satisfaction on exterior elements and the image evaluation, there was a different evaluation structure for each university. 'Facility's color and exterior material' were the main elements which improved the overall image of the facility. Thus, the study results strongly suggest that an important task is to determine the maintenance direction through the emphasis on the relationship between exterior elements and image satisfaction for each university.

보호지역의 지정 및 관리를 위한 국립공원의 서식처 기능 평가 -생물종다양성과 서식처 가치에 기반하여- (Evaluation of Habitat Function of National Park Based on Biodiversity and Habitat Value)

  • National parks are designated for the purpose of maintenance, conservation and utilization of different habitats. Therefore, it is necessary to select habitats of a high value as a protected area in order to balance conservation and development. However, the existing national park boundary adjustment and new designation criteria only focused on the endangered species and protected area, without proper evaluation of the habitat value of actual species. Therefore, this study aims to quantitatively evaluate habitat function in terms of biodiversity and habitat value, so that it can be referred to for the designation and boundary adjustment of national parks. We assessed species diversity and habitat values for each of the habitat types, for mammals only, as they are able to choose preferred habitats. In order to evaluate biodiversity, we used Maxent to derive species richness map and used InVEST's Habitat quality model to evaluate habitat value. As a result of evaluation, species richness was high in the national park boundary area. Also, even if the same edge is adjacent to the development area depending on the land cover, the species richness is low. Compared with Wolaksan and Sobaeksan National Park, the species richness and habitat value of the northern area, which is connected with other forests, were higher than those of the southern area where roads were developed. Therefore, it is expected that the use of the result of this study for the national park boundary adjustment and management will enhance the function of the national park as a habitat.

한국 경찰활동의 다변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multilateralization of Policing in Korea)

  • 우리 경찰은 1948년 창경이래 여러 어려움을 겪으며 성장해왔고 현재 경찰조직의 분권화 및 민주화를 통하여 경찰활동 또한 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 그러나 우리의 사회통제체제는 대륙법계를 중심으로 한 국가경찰체제를 바탕으로 하고 있지만 새로운 경찰활동의 도입에 있어서 기본원칙을 충분히 고려하지 않고 각각의 경찰활동만을 중심으로 우리 경찰활동에 접목시키려는 시도를 하고 있다. 사경찰활동의 확대, 지역사회 경찰활동 개념의 도입, 경찰서비스 개념의 도입, 경찰운영에 있어서 민영화 개념의 도입 등이 그 대표적인 예이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경찰의 발전과 관련된 각각의 연구와 선행연구 등을 중심으로 경찰개념 및 경찰활동의 변화과정을 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 현행 경찰활동에 있어서 개별적이고 다양한 변화추세를 어떻게 이해할 것인가를 제시하였다. 경찰의 개념 및 경찰활동 본래의 기본활동 목표인 공공의 안녕과 질서유지는 경찰활동에 있어서 어떠한 다양한 변화가 있더라고 절대 변할 수 없는 것이기 때문이다.

일본(日本)에서 계류변(溪流邊)의 환경복원(環境復元) 발전전략(發展戰略)(IV) (Strategy Prospects of Environmental Restoration of Stream Side in Japan(IV))

  • The objective of this study was to introduce the current status and development strategy for an environmental restoration of stream side in Japan, and to consider a methodology which could be effectively applied for the environmental restoration of stream side in Korea. 1. In order to change the recent direction of the forest conservation and erosion control projects which are focused on the restoration of stream side ecology, we have to quit the past erosion control policy such as water control purpose, and establish new plans regarding on the forest conservation and erosion control which is considered the regional environmental restoration of watershed. 2. When we restore stream side and river side ecosystem, we should establish restoration plans which can keep the original nature of stream and river. 3. The forest conservation and erosion control construction projects for the restoration of stream and river ecosystem should be planned for the perfect restoration of their ecosystem by way of sustainable maintenance and management. 4. The restoration direction of stream and river ecosystem needs to be planned to restore the diversity of small geographies such as waterway, shoal and puddles rather than flattening of stream bed. 5. The main principle in the restoration of stream and river ecosystem is to accomplish forest conservation and erosion control construction projects which can conserve the existing stream and river ecosystem.

일본의 맨션관리의 적정화 추진에 관한 법률 고찰 (The Law on Promoting Rationalization of Mansion Management in Japan)

  • 일본의 맨션관리의 적정화 추진에 관한 법률은 맨션의 양호한 주거환경을 확보하여 국민생활의 안정을 향상시키고 나아가 국민경제의 건전한 발전을 꾀함을 목적으로 제정된 법률이다. 맨션의 증가와 맨션만이 가지는 거주형태의 특수성, 이에 관련한 법정비의 미비는 일본의 학계와 실무에서 꾸준히 제기된 문제이다. 또한 관리적 측면에서는 관리조합의 운영문제, 유지수선, 관리조합의 관리업자에 대한 관리위탁, 설계 준공도면의 정확한 인도 등의 문제도 지적을 받아왔다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 적정화법이 입법되었으나, 결국 적정화법은 맨션 관리에 관한 합의형성 등의 문제에 대해 그 해결책을 제시하고 있는 것으로 평가할 수는 있겠으나 한편으로는 맨션에서의 관리조합 및 구분소유자, 그리고 노후화가 상당히 진행된 맨션에 대해 고민, 예를 들면 거주자의 다양성 등으로 인한, 하는 지자체 등에 대해 여러 형태로의 의무 등을 제안 또는 제시하고 있음으로 해서 적정화법의 원활한 시행에는 다수의 난관이 존재하고 있는 것이 사실이다.

관광식물원 조성을 위한 식재수종의 선택과 배치 및 운영에 관한 연구 (A study on the Choice, Arrangement and Operation of Plantation for Development of Tourism Botanical Garden)

  • We designed the model picture of Tourism Botanical Garden, as a kind of theme park, in which we could enjoy flowers all the year round and the glorious tints of its autumn foliage. It would be very important to decide what kinds of trees should be planted and where to plant them. We selected the appropriate flowers and trees according to their value of appreciation and flowering time and the grand view around there and the weather conditions of the central region. We selected perennial plants as native plants, according to their color, flowering time and for the convenience of maintenance. And we selected some kinds of culture plants to show the seasonal change and diversity, according to their color and flowering time. We adopted the roof-tile pattern of Pakjae Kingdom to design the basic model of the garden, and the area was divided into eight sections. Six of them were divided again into four small planting areas from the outside respectively, according to the kinds of trees; pine-tree area, native flowering plant area, flowering tree area and flowering shrub area. The last two sections are by a lake, so they could make a beautiful landscape of waterfront. For the effective and economic operation of the garden, some kinds of flower trees and shrubs, which are little damaged by blight and are needless to prune, were selected. And perennial plants were also selected, because we don't have to change them into other plants, so we could cut down the expenses. As for the culture plants, they could be easily replaced with other culture plants in the flowering time, to show seasonal change and the harmony with the scenery around the garden.

부천특수학교 조경설계 (Landscape Design for the Buchon Special School)

  • This landscape design was proposed for the Buchon Special School Competition, held by the Kyonggi Province Office of Education. The authors collaborated on this design and won first prize in November of 2001. In the design proposal, on the basis of the knowledge of; mentally retarded children the children's activities, nature and health, and the healing gardens, the special school outdoor spaces were designed to meet the particular needs of the users. The school outdoor spaces are design for various types of users-children, adolescents, parents, siblings, staff, volunteers and visitors. The following are some of the basis concerns in the design of the school outdoor spaces : garden site planning, garden location, security, microclimate, entering and exiting, accessibility, usability, user group territories, supervision, attracting trained volunteers, a range of high-quality social settings, accommodation of different student types, accommodation of needs for both challenge and rest, child nature interaction, diversity of natural settings, hands-on activity, integrating the arts, and maintenance. The following are some of the major features in the design of school outdoor spaces : pleasant and inviting entry areas, sports grounds with different levels of challenge, gardens with plants having strong fragrances and/or tactile qualities, resting places with many types and forms of seating and weather-mitigating features, play grounds for all student types, roof gardens for users to experience nature in man-made environments, and walkways and winding paths with various trees, shrubs and flowers. In the special school outdoor spaces, people would perceive a unique sense of place through the various types of spaces and features described above. An example of the true meaning of a playing and resting place and a restorative and therapeutic environment is provided in the school outdoor spaces.
