In contemporary architecture, glass is being used less as a single piece for the exterior envelope, due to a variety of influences such as increased performance regulations, the market environment and technical developments. An architectural exterior wall today is usually installed as a 'ystem' wall, not as a single plane glass wall. That brings up the necessity to question the appropriateness of the materiality of an individual piece of glass for the exterior envelope in urban settings. Therefore, in many cases it is appropriate to examine materiality of glass as a system. A new examination of materiality can be carried out by analyzing the interactions between layers that constitute a system. This paper examines the experimental use of glass systems in contemporary architecture, and analyzes them to interpret the relationship between the layers of each system in order to establish the diversified materiality of glass in contemporary architecture.

An efficient diagnostic approach for real-time operation aiding expert system in chemical process plants is discussed. The approach is based on the hybrid of the simplified symptom tree(SST) and the fault consequence digraph(FCD), representation of propagation patterns of fault states. The SST generates fault hypothesis efficiently and the FCD resolve the real fault accurately. Frame based knowledge representation and object-oriented programming make diagnostic system general and efficient. Truth maintenance system enables robust pattern matching and provides enhanced explain facilities. A prototype expert system for supports operation of naphtha furnaces process, called OASYS, has been built and tested to demonstrate this methodology. Utilization of diversified process symbolic data, produced using dynamic normal standards, overcomes the problem of qualitative Boolean reasoning and enhance the applicability.

Many organizations need to comply with ISMS-P for information systems and personal information management for ISMS-P certification. Organizations should safeguard vulnerablities to information systems. However, as the kinds of information systems are diversified and the number of information systems increases, management of such vulnerabilities manually accompanies with many difficulties. SCAP is a protocol to manage the vulnerabilities of information system automatically with security standards. In this paper, for the introduction of SCAP in domestic domains we verify the applicability of server-oriented system which is one of ISMS-P certification targets. For SCAP applicability, For obtaining this goal, we analyze the structures and functions of SCAP. Then we propose schemes to check vulnerabilities of the server-oriented system. Finally, we implement the proposed schemes with SCAP to show the applicability of SCAP for verifying vulnerabilities of the server-oriented system.

System establishment using a network may be a decisive factor both for creating a flexible production system and increasing reliability and serve as a basis for setting up of a management system that will make the designing, maintenance, and repair easier. It is therefore imperative to develop a protocol which is simple to use for communications and connections among different devices. The objectives of this study is to establish communications protocol stack that will enable to conduct an effective monitoring of production facilities and to secure flexibility of reduction control system, and to improve the working ratio of the production facilities by centralization of communications system through effective collecting and storing of the diversified data of multi-type and multi-device production facilities.

Wind is a significant and valuable renewable energy resource. It is safe and abundant and can make an important contribution to future clean, sustainable and diversified electricity supplies. Unlike other sources of energy, wind does not pollute the atmosphere nor create any hazardous waste. In some countries wind energy is already competitive with fossil and nuclear power even without accounting for the environmental benefits of wind power. The cost of electricity from conventional power stations does not usually take full account of its environmental impact (acid rain, oil slick clean up, the effects of climate change, etc). In this paper, a transient phenomenon simulation method for Wind Power Generation System(WPGS) under real weather conditions has been proposed. The simulation method is expected to be able to analyze easily under various conditions with considering the sort of wind turbine, the capacity of system and the converter system. Wind turbine connected to the synchronous generator and power converter was simulated.

The mechanization of production facilities being made rapid progress, and its function being diversified and complicated for industrialized period, the relation between machine and Its operator brings about many problems which are concerned with accident. In these circumstance, the purpose of industrial safety can not be properly achieved as considered by only one side of machine or man. Therefore, it is necessary to study how to cope with the safety of man-machine system. It has to be considered in the above mentioned contents that safety management can not be attained through only technique of numerical control. The cause of accident being studied scientifically, the service of safety problems has to be systematized and operated in rational safety organization. The purpose of this thesis is to consider preventing and decreasing industrial accident from production system field by means of the improvement of worker's own safety consciousness and introducing the function of safety management to the duties of labour union.

The digital contents distribution system via network provides comfortability, usability, and diversified functions to content's users. However, for the characteristic of easy access of digital contents, the copyright infringements and indiscreet contents distribution are realized in this days. In other words, any users with the authentication key can access to copyright contents with any restrictions. To solve this problems, we proposed a user authentication mechanism which prevent indiscreet access to the digital content by using user system information. Also, to provide safe distribution of digital content, we used user's unique content authentication key.

As a result of establishing the regional self-government system, regional residents came to take more interest in their land ownership rights and relevant areas. The administrative bodies in South Korea are trying their best to meet the complicated and diversified demands of the residents regarding land and construction administration. However, governmental agencies are having difficulties identifying land characteristics on the field as part of standard lands change every year. Also, the vague boundaries of agricultural and mountainous land areas are causing surveyors problems in spotting the right areas. Thus, this study intends to provide information and guidance on an accurate land price calculation system in connection between the land information system and PDA technology for distribution of accurate information regarding lands and their management.

Korea, which entered the aged society in 2018, is accelerating the progress of the aged society due to the rapid decrease in birth. Although the low birth rate is the important issue, comprehensive measures to cope with the aged society should be established. In particular, the reform of the healthcare system in response to the aged society is very urgent. The reorganization of the healthcare system in response to the aged society should focus on improving the functional abilities of the elderly and should be transformed into integrated older person-centered health service. The benefit package of National Health Insurance should be diversified and appropriate payment of each benefit package should be applied. The ageism should be overcame, and it is important to recognize that the measures for the older person are investments in future society. The reform of healthcare system for older person are very urgent in Korea, which is advancing into a rapidly aged society.

Due to growth of diversified media, content screening is the definite procedures. The procedures of screening varies from country by country in various reasons. Therefore, reason of conducting such study is to compare & contrast screening process by countries. In order to clarify definition of terms that measures screening, "censorship" means "legislative filtering process prior to public appearance". In contrary "Rating and/or Classification" is defined opposite of it. After defining these terms, Screening is dignified into two distinctive measures, which are "legislative intereference" and "voluntary notification". Those two measures are again sub-categorized into eight distinctive operational definition. Utilizing those distinctive measures, our study has concluded as US, Japan and some laissez-faire countries use "voluntary notification" systems but in contrast China and Brunei use "legislative filtering" system.? Korea and Australia uses unique combination of both system. In order for Korea to adopt "voluntary notification system", legislative intereference must be weaken and develop strong "voluntary notification" system.
