A graph traversal technique is a certain pattern of visiting nodes of a graph. Many special traversal techniques have been applied to solve graph related problems. For example, the depth first search technique has been used for finding strongly onnected components of a directed graph or biconnected components of a general graph. The distributed protocol to implement his depth first search technique on the distributed network can be divided into a fixed topology problem where there is no topological change and a dynamic topology problem which has some topological changes. Therefore, in this paper, we present a more efficient distributed depth first search protocol with fixed topology and a resilient distributed depth first search protocol where there are topological changes for the distributed network. Also, we analysed the message and time complexity of the presented protocols and showed the improved results than the complexities of the other distributed depth first search protocols.

The WiMedia Alliance has specified a Distributed Medium Access Control (D-MAC) protocol based on UWB for high speed wireless home networks and Wireless USB. In this paper, firstly, the fair SoQ-based Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) for D-MAC is analyzed. And a novel SoQ-based relay transmission protocol is proposed to overcome DRP conflicts fast. In the proposed protocol, each device executes the Satisfaction of QoS (SoQ) time slot allocation algorithm independently. And, in order to give the loser device due to DRP conflicts another chance to maintain QoS resources, the proposed relay transmission protocol helps the device reserve another indirect link maintaining the required QoS resources via a relay node.

In this paper, a new algorithm of Integrated Volt/Var Control (IVVC) is proposed using Volt/Var control for the Distribution Automation System (DAS) based on the modeling of the distributed load and the distributed current. In the proposed, the load flow based on the modeling of the distributed load with Distributed Generation and the distributed current are estimated from constants of four terminals using the measurement of the current and power factor from a Feeder Remote Terminal Unit (FRTU). For Integrated Volt/Var Control (IVVC), the gradient method is applied to find optimal solution for tap and capacity control of OLTC (On-Load Tap Changers), SVR (Step Voltage Regulator), and SC (Shunt Condenser). What is more Volt/Var control method is proposed using moving the tie switch as well as IVVC algorithm using power utility control. In the case studies, the estimation and simulation network have been testified in Matlab Simulink.

We propose a novel framework for distributed resource management. The framework has the following novel features. First, the resource management system is distributed using resource content information that is characterized by system properties. We argue that a distributed system based on resource content is sufficient to satisfy specific scheduling requests for Quality of Service(QoS) considering workload balance across a grid. Second, the distributed system constructs a hierarchical peer-to-peer network. This peered network provides an efficient message routing mechanism. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework is proficient to satisfy QoS in distributed environment.

Real-time(RT) object-oriented(OO) distributed computing is a form of RT distributed computing realized with a distributed computer system structured in the form of an object network. Several approached proposed in recent years for extending the conventional object structuring scheme to suit RT applications, are briefly reviewed. Then the approach named the TMO(Time-triggered Message-triggered Object)structuring scheme was formulated with the goal of instigating a quantum productivity jump in the design of distributed time triggered simulation. The TMO scheme is intended to facilitate the pursuit of a new paradigm in designing distributed time triggered simulation which is to realize real-time computing with a common and general design style that does not alienate the main-stream computing industry and yet to allow system engineers to confidently produce certifiable distributed time triggered simulation for safety-critical applications. The TMO structuring scheme is a syntactically simple but semantically powerful extension of the conventional object structuring approached and as such, its support tools can be based on various well-established OO programming languages such as C++ and on ubiquitous commercial RT operating system kernels. The Scheme enables a great reduction of the designers efforts in guaranteeing timely service capabilities of application systems. Start after striking space key 2 times.

The growth of the World Wide Web and the advances in high-speed network access have greatly changed existing CAD/CAE environment. The WWW has enabled us to share various distributed product data and to collaborate in the design process. An international standard for the product model data, STEP, and a standard for the distributed object technology, CORBA, are very important technological components for the interoperability in the advanced design and manufacturing environment. These two technologies provide background for the sharing of product data and the integration of applications on the network. This paper describes a distributed CAD/CAE environment that is integrated on the network by CORBA and product model data standard STEP. Several prototype application modules were implemented to verify the proposed concept and the test result is discussed. Finite element analysis server are further distributed into several frontal servers for the implementation of distributed parallel solution of finite element system equations. Distributed computation of analysis server is also implemented by using CORBA for the generalization of the proposed method.
In the era of big data, algorithms for the existing IT environment cannot accept on a distributed architecture such as hadoop. Thus, new distributed algorithms which apply a distributed framework such as MapReduce are needed. Lloyd's algorithm commonly used for vector quantization is developed using MapReduce recently. In this paper, we proposed a decombined distributed VQ codebook generation algorithm based on a distributed VQ codebook generation algorithm using MapReduce to get a result more fast. The result of applying the proposed algorithm to big data showed higher performance than the conventional method.

In practical distributed sensing and prediction applications over wireless sensor networks (WSN), environmental sensing activities are highly dynamic because of noisy sensory information from moving source signals. The recent distributed online convex optimization frameworks have been developed as promising approaches for solving approximately stochastic learning problems over network of sensors in a distributed manner. Negligence of mobility consequence in the original distributed saddle point algorithm (DSPA) could strongly affect the convergence rate and stability of learning results. In this paper, we propose an integrated sliding windows mechanism in order to stabilize predictions and achieve better convergence rates in cooperative detection of a moving source signal scenario.
