컴퓨터수치제어(CNC) 플라즈마 아아크 절단장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on development of plasma-arc cutting system with computer-numerical control)

  • Plasma arc cutting is a fusion cutting process in which a gas-constricted arc is employed to produce a high-temperature, high-velocity plasma jet on the workpiece. This process provides some advantages such as increased cutting velocity, excellent working accuracy and the ability to cut special materials (widely used stainless steels and Al-alloys, for example), when compared with iconventional oxyfuel gas cutting. From the view point of price and reliability of the power source, plasma arc cutting has also some distinct advantages over laser beam cutting. High-speed machines with NC or CNC systems are needed for the plasma arc or laser beam cutting process, while for oxyfuel gas cutting, low-speed machines with copying templates or optical-shape tracking sensors can be applied. The low price and high flexibility of the microprocessor arc contributing more and more the application of CNC system in the plasma arc cutting process, as in other manufacturing fields. From these points of view, a microprocessor-based plasma arc cutting system was developed by using a reference-pulse system, and its performance was tested. The interpolating routines were programmed in the assembly language for saving the memory volume and improving the compouting speed, which has an intimate relationship with the available cutting velocity.

Digital Image Quality Assessment Based on Standard Normal Deviation

  • We propose a new method that specifies objective image quality factors by evaluating an image quality measurement model using random images. In other words, No-Reference variables are used to evaluate the quality of an original image without using any reference for comparison. 1000 portrait images were collected from a web gallery with votes constituting over 30 recommendation values. The bottom-up data collecting process was used to calculate the following image quality factors: total range, average, standard deviation, normalized distribution, z-score, preference percentage. A final grade is awarded out of 100 points, and this method ranks and grades the final estimated image quality preference in terms of total image quality factors. The results of the proposed image quality evaluation model consist of the specific dynamic range, skin tone R, G, B, L, A, B, and RSC contrast. We can present the total for the expected preference points as the average of the objective image qualities. Our proposed image quality evaluation model can measure the preferences for an actual image using a statistical analysis. The results indicate that this is a practical image quality measurement model that can extract a subject's preferred image quality.

위성시각 동시측정에 의한 웹기반 슬레이브클럭 시스템 (A web-based remote slave clock system by common-view measurement of satellite time)

  • 본 논문에서 위성신호를 매개로 원격지의 로컬클럭이 기준신호에 동기되는 새로운 개념의 슬레이브를럭 시스템을 제안하였으며 이 방식에 의한 실용화 가능성을 확인하였다. 새로이 제시하는 방식은 단계적인 물리계층에 의해 동기되던 기존의 방식에 비해 모든 슬레이브 국소들이 동일한 계위의 품질로 유지될 수 있는 등의 여러 가지 구조적인 장점을 지니고 있다. 슬레이브클럭 시스템의 측정결과 10-12 수준의 주파수정확도를 유지하였으며 ITU-T의 권고(G.811)를 만족하는 MTIE 특성을 보여주었다. 현재 전체적으로 자동화기능을 갖는 초기모델이 구현되었으며 가까운 시일 내에 상용화연구를 통해 통신망 동기용 노드클릭으로 사용될 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • Basic design for single-phase active power filter, which aims at railway application provided with PWM-controlled converters, is comprehensively studied and its performance is presented in this paper. Active power filters are used to compensate railway signaling and public telecommunication interference due to the high-order harmonic currents generated in railway traction locomotives. A type of hybrid digital filter which is composed of low pass filter and high pass filter is proposed so that the desired harmonic reference current with accurate magnitude and phase shift can be extracted from catenary line current. A design criteria to determine input inductor L and output capacitor C is also described, considering voltage, current, PWM pattern, and switching frequency of the main converters. Finally, computer simulation and DSP-based experiments resulted from laboratory test are presented.

  • In this paper, we propose a flew technique to the design and real-time control of an adaptive controller for robotic manipulator based on digital signal processors. The Texas Instruments DSPs(TMS320C80) chips are used in implementing real-time adaptive control algorithms to provide enhanced motion control performance for dual-arm robotic manipulators. In the proposed scheme, adaptation laws are derived from model reference adaptive control principle based on the improved Lyapunov second method. The proposed adaptive controller consists of an adaptive feed-forward and feedback controller and time-varying auxiliary controller elements. The proposed control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for real-time control. Moreover, this scheme does not require any accurate dynamic modeling, nor values of manipulator parameters and payload. Performance of the proposed adaptive controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a dual arm robot manipulator with eight joints. joint space and cartesian space.

접근불능지역 공간정보 구축방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Acquisition Scheme of North Korea Geospatial Information)

  • 대북관련 사업을 위해 천연자원과 환경자원에 대한 기반정보는 절대적으로 필요한 것이다. 경제적인 목적을 위해 추진되고 있는 북한의 주요지역 정보는 물론이고 앞으로 다가올 통일을 대비하여 북한 전역에 대한 체계적이고 종합적인 공간정보의 구축이 필요한 실정이다. 북한과 남한의 공간정보는 국가공가정보기반과 연계되어 활용될 수 있는 한반도 공간정보기반에 그 뿌리를 두어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 국가들의 수치지도 좌표계와 도곽체계를 분석하여, 한반도 공간정보기반을 형성하기 위한 기초정보로서 좌표계와 도엽체계에서의 남북한 통합방안을 제시하였다.

선도형의 부호화를 위한 모드설정 체인코드 (Mode Selection Chain Code for Coding of Line Drawing Images)

  • 선도형은 디지털 영상의 형상과 특성을 표현하기에 가장 적합한 정보이므로 인식과 데이터 전송에 많이 사용되고 있다. 선도형의 부호화로는 8방향 체인코드가 가장 많이 사용되나. 보고에서는 선도형을 효율적으로 부호화하여 기존의 8방향 체인코드에 비해서 약 20% 정도의 데이터 압축 효과를 낼 수 있고 정확도를 요구하는 선도형의 부호화형식으로 사용될 수 있는 모드설정 체인부호화법을 새로이 제시하고 이것의 응용으로 선도형의 특징점이 될 수 있는 에지결정법을 제시한다. 이 부호화는 한 점의 8근방에 대하여 각 상한마다 기준모드를 설정하고, 이 기준모드에 3개의 방향코드를 할당하여 3비트로 하나의 선화소가 부호화되도록 한다.

  • XML 보안 명세 중 하나인 XML 키 관리 명세(XKMS)는 다양하고 복잡한 기능의 웹 서비스 애플리케이션에서 XML 문서의 서명을 검증하거나 암호화하는 공개키의 관리를 위한 프로토콜을 정의한다. 본 논문에서는 XML 표준 명세를 준수하는 XML 키 정보 프로토콜 서비스 모델을 제시하고, 표준에 근거한 프로토콜 컴포넌트의 참조 모델을 구현하였다. 또한 XML 기반 보안서비스 특성에 착안하여 안전한 XML 웹서비스를 위한 키 정보 서비스에 대한 분석과 보안 방안에 대해 기술한다. 프로토콜 컴포넌트는 식별정보가 주어졌을 때, 필요로 하는 공개키 위치와 식별자 정보, 공개키 연결 기능을 제공한다. 구현된 참조 모델은 향후 국내 e-비즈니스 프레임워크 구성 시 표준적인 보안 모델을 구현할 수 있는 지침을 제공할 것이다.

Modelling and Performance Analysis of UPQC with Digital Kalman Control Algorithm under Unbalanced Distorted Source Voltage conditions

  • In this paper, the generation of a reference current and voltage signal based on a Kalman filter is offered for a 3-phase 4wire UPQC (Unified Power Quality Conditioner). The performance of the UPQC is improved with source voltages that are distorted due to harmonic components. Despite harmonic and frequency variations, the Kalman filter is capable enough to determine the amplitude and the phase angle of load currents and source voltages. The calculation of the first state is sufficient to identify the fundamental components of the current, voltage and angle. Therefore, the Kalman state estimator is fast and simple. A Kalman based control strategy is proposed and implemented for a UPQC in a distribution system. The performance of the proposed control strategy is assessed for all possible source conditions with varying nonlinear and linear loads. The functioning of the proposed control algorithm with a UPQC is scrutinized and validated through simulations employing MATLAB/Simulink software. Using a FPGA SPATRAN 3A DSP board, the proposed algorithm is developed and implemented. A small-scale laboratory prototype is built to verify the simulation results. The stated control scheme for the UPQC reduces the following issues, voltage sags, voltage swells, harmonic distortions (voltage and current), unbalanced supply voltage and unbalanced power factor under dynamic and steady-state operating conditions.

고해상도 영상에서 기준점 개수에 따른 정확도 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Accuracy Estimation by Number of Control Points in High Resolution Images)

  • The high-resolution satellite images provided by Kompsat-3A, a multipurpose satellite, have various applications such as digital map generation, 3D image generation, and DEM generation. In order to utilize high-resolution satellite images, the user must create an orthoimage in order to use the image in a suitable manner. The position and the number of the ground reference points affect the accuracy of the orthoimage. In particular, the Kompsat-3A satellite image has a high resolution of about 0.5m, so the difficulty in selecting the ground control points and the accuracy of the selected point will have a great influence on the subsequent application process. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the influence of the number of ground reference points on the accuracy of the terrestrial satellite images.
