Research on the Impact of Digital Music Products on the Development of Regional Tourism Economy

  • In this paper, we propose a study to investigate the significant impact of digital technology on the development of the cultural industry and tourism. By collecting, selecting, and analyzing data on digital music products from 281 cities in China from 2005 to 2022, we confirm that well-known digital music products play a crucial role in promoting domestic tourism economic growth. However, their impact on the international tourism economy is not significant. Furthermore, these well-known digital music products can not only promote the development of the regional tourism economy but also influence the tourism economy of neighboring cities. The promotional effect of well-known digital music products is particularly important in fourth- and fifth-tier cities with rich cultural diversity and abundant tourism resources. Overall, well-known digital music products have a positive role in stimulating market vitality and promoting regional tourism economic development. These findings provide an important foundation for the integrated development of culture and tourism in the digital age and offer valuable insights for upgrading regional industrial structures and fostering regional harmonious development.

  • The goal of this research, contorted from the perspective of media aesthetics, is to uncover the ways how mechanical/cybersensual fashion products express aesthetic characteristics of cybernetics, by comparing them with digital products designed by an application of cybernetics. The other goal is to provide a cultural and design framework of cybernetics as d digital-environmental medium for fashion in which hightech and human sensibilities are fused. The results urged to explore two new contrasting perceptual possibilities for an understanding of digital technology application: negative and positive feedbacks. Cybernetic optimism, centered on technological dimensions, focuses on a concept of fashion that emphasize instrumental aspects-efficiency and convenience. In contrast, cybernetic pessimism focuses on digital fashion that expresses environmental destruction and the loss of human identity. A comparative analysis of the aesthetics of expression in digital fashion design and digital industrial products from a cybernetic perspective showed that in digital environment society, the combination of negative and positive feedbacks resulted in design products in which internal and external aspects of beauty complemented each other.

  • In this study, the relationships of factors influencing the ways alternative types of new digital products are accepted into the market will be structuralized. On the basis of previous research, it is assumed that customers intend to use alternative types of new digital products when they have a higher value than existing products. The consumer's feeling of attraction toward the product is another factor included in the evaluation of its quality. And the attraction of the products that the consumers feel is also included in the evaluation of the qualities of the product. The results of the study indicate first that a product's value affects its attraction, but not the usage intention of the customer. Second, the benefits of the product affect the customer's recognition of its value, while cost does not. Third, environment affects recognition by the customer of the product's attraction, while knowledge of the product does not. By structuralizing the factors that influence the customer's usage intention about alternative types of new digital devices, the causal relationships of the factors involved in the acceptance of new products into the market and their success can be comprehended.

  • The National Library of Korea establishes an Act on Legal Deposit and Use for the Online Digital Products in 2007 and it is preparing an enforcement. The purpose of this study is to suggest rate base on legal deposit of digital products before enforcement of this bill. To reach the goal, this study reviewed the legal deposit acts on digital products in the world. Also the opinion of main stakeholders in this area was collected such as digital book publishers and music copyright association. In conclusion, this study proposed rate base of reimbursement for legal deposit of digital products.

  • The National Library of Korea recently proposed a draft of an Act on Legal Deposit and Use for the Online Digital Products and researches about deposit system and remuneration of the digital products are in progress. Based on the law of library and copyright, remuneration of deposit and use products is paid. A draft of a proposed law include information about the remuneration payment. For these reasons, the method for efficient remuneration management is required. In this paper, we propose effective remuneration management system which follows a draft of an Act on Legal Deposit and Use for the Online Digital Products.

Buyer's Evaluation and Emotional Experience Analysis on Digital Products by Using the Content Analysis of On-line Reviews (온라인 사용후기 내용분석을 통한 디지털 제품에 대한 구매자의 평가와 감성체험 분석)

  • This study intends to provide foundational data for enhancing the welfare of customers purchasing digital products through analyzing the notes from written on-line reviews. The data used for the analysis are 6,342 on-line reviews for cell phones and digital cameras released from November, 2007 until April, 2008, which was posted on Naver Knowledge Shopping from November, 2007 until June, 2008. Through the on-line reviews, this article analyzed the evaluations on the digital products' hardware, software, design, service, price, and other criteria and the customers' emotional experience in the process of purchase, use, and possession. According to the results of the analysis, negative evaluation and emotional experience were originated from the company's information provision methods and purchase process. In addition, insufficient information searches in the process of online purchases, consumers' low right consciousness, and impolite on-line reviews were also problematic. Customers' evaluations and emotional experiences on digital products were conducted in a complex way. Based on that, this research makes suggestions in the company's marketing, customer education, and theoretical aspect.

Versioning Digital Products (디지털상품의 품질 차별화)

  • The paper demonstrates that versioning of digital products occurs more frequently than that of physical products because of low marginal cost. The versioning occurs no matter what a customer knows his/her reservation price. Low-quality version will not be produced when the difference between reservation prices is very large. The paper also shows that a firm tries to lower the quality of low-quality product to prevent customers with high reservation prices from purchasing low-quality product.

  • Due to the diversification of lifestyles and the rapid growth of Internet environments since the 1990s, mass customization has been recently accepted as an important trend in the area of clothing and all other areas. In response to mass customized clothing products, global clothing product brands are introducing systems for mass customization such as the application of digital fashion systems that introduced IT technologies such as CAD and 3D scanners. However, studies of planning factors for clothing products applied with digital fashion systems in the area of mass production of clothing products are insufficient. Therefore, this study was intended to analyze the lifestyles of 20-30s that are expected to have the highest demand for clothing applied with digital fashion systems and present basic planning factors according to lifestyles. Through the analysis, three groups that have one of fashion pursuing type, sensory information pursuing type, and practical function pursuing type lifestyles were derived. Based on this result, consumer demand for digital fashion systems and basic factors for product planning were analyzed to present basic planning factors for digital fashion system based customized clothing by lifestyle group. This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data for product planning through digital fashion systems by analyzing the awareness, preference, necessity, and planning factors of digital fashion systems through the analysis of lifestyle types.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the high-value-added fashion cultural products with Korean image for the enhancement of global competitiveness. For this purpose, theoretical examination of the unique beauty of Korea and Korean image was first performed. Especially, characteristics of Korean traditional botanic patterns were investigated with LOHAS(Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) philosophy which is the focus of the current design trend. Along with the above, the environmentally-friendly digital textile printing technology and Korean traditional botanic patterns were used to produce creative and globally-competitive fashion cultural products. Finally, a series of fashion cultural products were developed such as table runner, table mat and bedclothes.

  • To study product properties of digital spaces, we strongly need to formulate meaningful adjacency relations on digital products. Thus the paper [7] firstly developed a normal adjacency relation on a digital product which can play an important role in studying the multiplicative property of a digital fundamental group, and product properties of digital coverings and digitally continuous maps. The present paper mainly surveys the normal adjacency relation on a digital product, improves the assertion of Boxer and Karaca in the paper [4] and restates Theorem 6.4 of the paper [19].
