수명주기가 짧은 상품들에 대한 시퀀스 기반 개인화 서비스 (A sequence-based personalized service for the short life cycle products)

  • 대부분의 신상품들은 시장에서 급격히 사라질 뿐만 아니라 기존 상품들의 매출감소를 불러온다. 이처럼 수명주기가 짧은 상품으로 인해 소매상들은 과다한 재고를 보유하게 될 뿐만 아니라 소비자들은 자신들의 선호를 맞는 제품들을 발견하는데 어려움을 겪는다. 이런 문제를 해결에 하는데 있어서 추천 시스템은 좋은 해결방법이 될 수 있다. 그러나 대부분의 추천 시스템들은 소비자의 고정된 선호를 이용하기 때문에 변화하는 소비자의 선호를 반영하지 못하는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 시간에 따라 변화하는 소비자의 선호를 반영한 추천 방법론을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법론은 소비자의 동적 선호 프로파일 작성, 네이버 형성, 추천 리스트 작성의 3 단계로 구성되어 있으며, 모바일 이미지 거래 데이터를 이용하여 제안된 방법론의 유용성을 검증하였다. 시험결과 제시된 방법론의 추천 정확도가 전통적인 협업필터링의 정확도 보다 높았다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 본 연구에서 제한한 방법론이 짧은 수명주기를 가진 제품을 추천하는데 효과적이라는 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 따라서 향후 제안된 방법론을 현업에 적용하여 실제적 유용성을 검증할 필요가 있다.

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅 활성화 정책에 따라 가상화 제품에 대한 보안 중요성이 증가하였으며, 보다 안전한 클라우드 환경을 운영하기 위해서는 가상화 제품에 대한 사이버 보안위협 분석 및 보안요구사항 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문은 가상화 제품에 대한 보안특징 및 사이버 보안위협 분석을 통해 보안기능 요구사항 개발을 위한 사전 연구 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해, 미국 및 영국에서 가상화 제품의 보안성 평가를 위해 사용하고 있는 평가제도와 가상화 제품에 대한 보안위협, 보안목적 및 보안요구사항들을 비교했다. 또한, 가상화 제품의 보안특징과 관련된 핵심적인 보안기능 요구사항 개발을 위한 항목 및 절차를 제안하여 보다 안전한 가상화 제품 개발 및 보안 평가기준 마련에 기여하고자 한다.

  • As the properties of living space and objects change in the digital era, furniture is also expected to change. This study starts from the question of such inclination that the digital innovation drives territories among products into the ambiguous, then tries to trace the variation of meaning against the furniture. Based on this possibility these functions, this research aims, to find out the digital functions which is preferred to be integrated with the furniture for the users of the residential space and the interface design aspects, which are considered important. preliminary survey using university students was done to extract the possible digital functions for convergence. The respondents were married women in their 20s and 30s who filled out the surveys on the internet. As a result, the specific digital convergence functions for both living and kitchen space were Identified. As major important expects for them were found functionality and controllability. Thus furniture design will expand to a concept which designs a new way of life.

VHDL과 FPGA를 이용한 Digital Power IC 설계 (Digital Power IC design using VHDL and FPGA)

  • In this paper, the boost converter was implemented by digital control in many applications of the step-up. The PWM(pulse width modulation) control module of boost converter was digitized at power converter using the FPGA device and VHDL. The boost converter was designed to output a fixed voltage through the PI control algorithm of the PWM control module even if input voltage and output load are variable. The boost converter was digitized can be simplified by reducing the size of the module and the external control components. Thus, the digital power IC has advantageous for weight reduction and miniaturization of electronic products because it can be controlled remotely by setting the desired output voltage and PWM control module. The boost converter using the digital power IC was confirmed through experiments and the good performances were showed from experiment results.

  • Restaurants are an important area of the hospitality industry. This industry sector has not only experienced severe consequences of the recent lockdowns, but it has also seen the rise of digital technologies. As known from other industries, the digital transformation impacts products, processes and business models alike. Starting from the classical distinction of a restaurant's front- and back-of-the-house processes, this paper presents an overview on current developments in the restaurant industry and based on an analysis of current digital services, it derives some implications for future directions. Among the observations are that restaurants need to cover more touch points, provide more individualized offerings and strive for more automation as well as integration of their systems.

Intuitive Game Design as digital therapeutic tool for silver-generation

  • The purpose of this study is to implement game content within the generative artificial intelligence module Chat-GPTs, grounded in the humanistic discourse of self-reflection. This content aims to empower the dignity of the silver generation, which has been marginalized by digital technology. Simultaneously, we intend to prototype a digital psychotherapeutic tool. The development of a flexible device that adapts to the silver generation's living environment and temporal constraints is also part of our plan. However, there are still few commercially available products, and digital therapeutics developed in the form of content are virtually nonexistent. The goal is to implement game content that allows the elderly, who have been marginalized by digital technology, to find their true dignity. Simultaneously, we plan to commercialize a prototype of digital psychotherapy that can flexibly adapt to the range of living environments and time constraints of the elderly. This study has been extended based on the game content 'Daily Run' created by Hyein Kwon, an undergraduate student at Kyungil University.

한국 IT제품 구매에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 제품 평가준거, 문화적 영향력, 소비자 특성을 중심으로 (A Study on the Factors affecting the Purchase of Korean IT Products in Overseas Markets : On Product Valuation Criteria, Cultural Influence, and Consumer Attributes)

  • This study aims to identify factors affecting the purchase of Korean IT products in overseas markets. The empirical investigation on Chinese and Japanese, which are major overseas markets of Korean IT products and within Korean wave of influence, ascertains that they have had experiences in purchasing Korean IT products such as MP3, hand held phone, and digital camera. In addition, it was revealed that the country image of Korea and valuation of Korean IT products have been enhanced by Korean wave. The result of multiple regression analysis shows that the purchase of Korean IT products is dependent upon social influence, country image, product attributes, preference on Korean wave, and cultural influence. In the separated hypotheses test of China and Japan, the same factors are found to be significant variables affecting the purchase of Korean IT products but practicality, innovativeness, and norms of consumers are found to be significant only in Chinese market. These results imply what should be considered to expedite the export of Korean IT products. In particular, this study finds different factors affecting the purchase of Korean IT products in different countries.

  • In the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, with its accelerating radical changes and innovation, fashion is rapidly advancing to sustain social changes introduced by technological convergence. In light of this, the study investigates the social and cultural characteristics of technologizing fashion products: creative modifications emerge from technological convergence with fashion products and result in a realm separate from technology. By focusing on the nature of fashion, this study analyzes the technologization of fashion products for added value creation in the fashion system. Based on the findings, it interprets different attitudes toward technologizing that changes fashion products. Accordingly, this study reviews previous literature and qualitatively examines empirical cases based on inductive reasoning. In particular, it analyzes commercialized cases of fashion-technology convergence in fashion products found on online fashion media outlets between January 2007 and May 2021, a central period in intellectual and technological innovation. The characteristics of technologized fashion products are identified as follows: expansion of physical functions and categories, interaction with emotional sensibilities, artistry through combination with technologies, and computer-generated imagery(CGI) fashion as digital goods. Therefore, this study analyzes the characteristics of technologization, focusing on the social and cultural properties of fashion products. The findings provide opportunities to understand the paradigm shift of these products that was catalyzed by technologizing.

  • 지구촌은 디지털 네트워크로 시공을 초월하여 소통하고 있다. 이러한 시대에 인간들은 더욱더 풍족한 테크놀로지 세상 속에서 휴머니티를 찾고 아날로그적 감성을 갈망한다. 예술은 아날로그적 감성을 자극하고 디자인은 개인의 감성적인 부분을 쉽게 표출할 수 있는 대표적인 도구이자 분야이다. 본 논문은 디지털과 아날로그 예술의 융합에 관하여 본인의 작품 <결합체> 시리즈를 중심으로 연구하였다. <결합체>시리즈는 <지도> 시리즈 작품들에서 파생된 작품이며, 실제 원본을 분해, 해체 하여 나온 조각들을 디지털화 하여 그래픽 편집기술을 이용해 만든 작품이다. 본 연구자는 예술과 디자인의 성공적 콜라보레이션 사례들을 살펴보고, <결합체> 작품 이미지들을 이용하여 다양한 디자인 상품들을 연구 및 개발 하여 보았다. 그리고 이를 통해 네트워크로 연결된 세계의 관람객들과 친숙하게 소통하고자 한다. 이미 세계의 많은 순수미술 작가들이 본인의 작품들을 아트상품화 하여 판매하고 있고, 문화 예술과 상업적 제품과의 콜라보레이션은 기업, 작가 그리고 소비자에게 서로 상생효과를 주며 새로운 상품과 가치를 창출하고 있다. 본 연구자는 자신의 예술 작품을 이용하여 다양한 제품으로 디자인 해보고, 어떻게 작가 와 아트상품을 효과적으로 홍보를 할 수 있을 것인가에 대하여 연구하였다.

Copyright Protection for Digital Image by Watermarking Technique

  • Due to the rapid growth and expansion of the Internet, the digital multimedia such as image, audio and video are available for everyone. Anyone can make unauthorized copying for any digital product. Accordingly, the owner of these products cannot protect his ownership. Unfortunately, this situation will restrict any improvement which can be done on the digital media production in the future. Some procedures have been proposed to protect these products such as cryptography and watermarking techniques. Watermarking means embedding a message such as text, the image is called watermark, yet, in a host such as a text, an image, an audio, or a video, it is called a cover. Watermarking can provide and ensure security, data authentication and copyright protection for the digital media. In this paper, a new watermarking method of still image is proposed for the purpose of copyright protection. The procedure of embedding watermark is done in a transform domain. The discrete cosine transform (DCT) is exploited in the proposed method, where the watermark is embedded in the selected coefficients according to several criteria. With this procedure, the deterioration on the image is minimized to achieve high invisibility. Unlike the traditional techniques, in this paper, a new method is suggested for selecting the best blocks of DCT coefficients. After selecting the best DCT coefficients blocks, the best coefficients in the selected blocks are selected as a host in which the watermark bit is embedded. The coefficients selection is done depending on a weighting function method, where this function exploits the values and locations of the selected coefficients for choosing them. The experimental results proved that the proposed method has produced good imperceptibility and robustness for different types of attacks.
