  • 최근 들어 사진측량은 광센서 및 컴퓨터기술 발전과 같은 관련분야의 발전과 자료처리과정의 자동화 및 사용자의 편의성에 대한 요구로 수치사진측량(Digital Photogrammetry)이라는 새로운 학문분야로 발전하고 있다. 수치사진측 량은 지형지물 및 자연환경에 대한 기하(geometric), 복사(radiometric) 및 의미적(semantic) 정보를 수치영상으로부터 획득하는 기술로 정의되고 있다. 그 적용분야 역시 크게 증가하여 사회 전반에 응용되고 있으며 앞으로 GPS(Global Positioning System), GIS(Geographic Information System) 및 RS(Remote Sensing)와 연계되어 발전 및 응용의 잠재력이 클 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수치사진측량의 발전과정 및 정확한 지형자료의 해석을 중심으로 수치사진측량에 의한 영상 정보를 보다 쉽고, 정확하게 해석하여 정보 취득 관한 적용 가능성을 제시하고, 도시지역의 지상 D/B자료와 지하시설물 D/B를 하나의 3차원 시각화로 나타냄으로써 도시의 모든 시설물을 통합하여 보다 효과적인 유지ㆍ관리, 재해방지, 합리적 의사결정에 기여하고자 한다.

  • Recently the development of digital based measurement sensor with which a variety of surveying equipment and methods are being developed. In the field of aerial mapping using GPS, INS and Digital Camera instead of Film based Camera. In case of aerial photogrammetry for mapping, it is effective on wide area. But it is ineffective on narrow area. Therefore, the research experimented that used LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems for modify and update about region of Suwon and Yeouido. From these results a possibility and an effectiveness analyzed and evaluated LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems.

  • The study aims to propose a method that shall rapidly acquire 3D spatial information of the frequently changing city areas by using the low altitude aerial images taken by the UAV. The artificial 3D model of the artificial structures was constructed using the aerial image data photographed at the test area, calibration data of the non-metric camera and the results of the ground control point survey. Also, the digital surface model was created for areas that were changed due to a number of civil works. Through the above studies, the possibilities of constructing a 3D virtual city model, renewal of 3D GIS database, abstraction of changed information in geographic features and on-demand updating of the digital map were suggested.

  • DSM (Digital Surface Model) is a digital representation of ground surface topography or terrain that is widely used for hydrology, slope analysis, and urban planning. Aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) are main technology for urban DSM generation but high-resolution satellite imagery is the only ingredient for remote inaccessible areas. Traditional automated DSM generation method is based on correlation-based methods but recent study shows that a modern pixelwise image matching method, SGM (Semi-Global Matching) can be an alternative. Therefore this study investigated the application of SGM for Kompsat satellite data of KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute). Firstly, the sensor modeling was carried out for precise ground-to-image computation, followed by the epipolar image resampling for efficient stereo processing. Secondly, SGM was applied using different parameterizations. The generated DSM was evaluated with a reference DSM generated by the first pulse returns of the LIDAR reference dataset.

  • In recent construction sites, digital maps obtained through drone photogrammetry have garnered increasing attention as indispensable tools for effective construction site management. the strategic placement of Ground Control Points (GCPs) is crucial in drone photogrammetry. Nevertheless, the manual labor and time-intensive nature of GCP surveying pose significant challenges. The purpose of this study is to design the concept of automated GCPs survey technology for enhancing drone photogrammetry efficiency in construction sites. As a result, the productivity of the automated method was analyzed as 118,894.7㎡/hr. It is over 25% productivity improvement compared to traditional methods. In future studies, economic analysis of automated methods should be studied.

  • Recently GIS is not only displaying and servicing data on the 2D, but also is changing rapidly to display and service 3D data. Also 3D related technology is developing actively. For display of 3D data, terrain DTM has become a basis. Generally, to acquire DTM, users are using LIDAR data or digital map's contour line. However, if using these data for producing DTM, users need to additional cost and data lead time. And hard to update terrain data. For possibility of solving these problem, this study did DTM extraction with automatic matching for aerial photograph, and analysed the result with measurement of Orthometric height and excuted accuracy through DTM(which extracted from digital photogrammetric technique). As a result, we can get a high accuracy of RMSE (0.215m).

Estimating the Forest Micro-topography by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Photogrammetry (무인항공기 사진측량 방법에 의한 산림 미세지형 평가)

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) photogrammetry provides a cost-effective option for collecting high-resolution 3D point clouds compared with UAV LiDAR and aerial photogrammetry. The main objectives of this study were to (1) validate the accuracy of 3D site model generated, and (2) determine the differences between Digital Elevation Model(DEM) and Digital Surface Model(DSM). In this study, DEM and DSM were shown to have varying degree of accuracy from observed data. The results indicated that the model predictions were considered tend to over- and under-estimated. The range of RMSE of DSM predicted was from 8.2 and 21.3 when compared with the observation. In addition, RMSE values were ranged from 10.2 and 25.8 to compare between DEM predicted and field data. The predict values resulting from the DSM were in agreement with the observed data compared to DEM calculation. In other words, it was determined that the DSM was a better suitable model than DEM. There is potential for enabling automated topography evaluation of the prior-harvest areas by using UAV technology.

  • There is the case to make the image map by using color aerial photo, DEM gives the accuracy of the Ortho image. Therefore We evaluate the accuracy by digital photogrammetric system after generating the DEM of Color Aerial Image.

  • This study presents on generation coefficients of the RFM using GEO-level stereo images of the IKONOS satellite. 3-D positioning and DEM generation of this model on the test field. In result, the maximum error of image coordinates acquired by the upward transform of the RFM did nat exceed 8 pixels. DEM was generated with kriging interpolation extracted three dimensional ground coordinate to rational quadratic function form, me compared it to reference digital elevation model made from 1:5,000 digital map and 1:1,000 digital map, and so, could generate digital elevation model in the accuracy as average RMSE of elevation was ${\pm}$ 3∼5 m in RFM.
