  • A PC-based system for both monitoring and controlling SAUV is developed. The developed system is located on a ship and communicate with the SAUV through optical link through which the system sends motion command and receives video data, SSBL and Digital I/O data. The motion command includes velocity data and direction data. The overall system is developed with the intention of easy operation for operator and safe motion of SAUV. The easy operation is realized by GUI-based interface and the safe motion is realized by fault tolerant capability.

Active Tonal Noise Canceller with Frequency Tracking

  • In this paper, we propose a novel adaptive digital filter for tonal noise cancellation, with a frequency tracking capability. The proposed algorithm not only estimates the magnitude and phase of the tonal disturbance but also tracks its frequency, which changes in quasi-static manner. The algorithm uses the steepest descent method and the instantaneous frequency approach for the phase/magnitude estimation and frequency tracking, respectively. A number of computer simulations have been carried out in order to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed ANC algorithm under various conditions.

Hybrid Adaptive Volterra Filter Robust to Nonlinear Distortion

  • In this paper, the new hybrid adaptive Volterra filter was proposed to be applied for compensating the nonlinear distortion of memoryless nonlinear systems with saturation characteristics. Through computer simulations as well as the analytical analysis, it could be shown that it is possible for both conventional Volterra filter and proposed hybrid Volterra filter, to be applied for linearizing the memoryless nonlinear system with nonlinear distortion. Also, the simulations results demonstrated that the proposed hybrid filter may have faster convergence speed and better capability of compensating the nonlinear distortion than the conventional Volterra filter.

Robust Active Noise Controller with Hybrid Adaptive Nonlinear Compensator

  • In this paper, the new robust active noise controller was proposed to be applied for attenuating the noises when the nonlinear distortion in the secondary path exists. Through computer simulations as well as the analytical analysis, it could be shown that it is possible for both conventional LMS controller and proposed controller, to be applied for actively controlling the noises and linearizing the nonlinear distortion in the secondary path. Also, the simulations results demonstrated that the proposed controller may have faster convergence speed and better capability of controlling the noises and compensating the nonlinear distortion than the conventional LMS controller.

VLBI MEASUREMENT OF WEAK SOURCES WITH IMPROVED SENSITIVITY

  • Compared with traditional analog system, the Chinese VLBI Data Acquisition System (CDAS) is a digital one with better bandpass and wider bandwidth which allow weaker sources to be detected and measured by VLBI techniques. After optimizing and verifying the performance of CDAS in wide bandwidth observing mode, we performed an experiment by observing 85 weak sources along the ecliptic with Chinese VLBI stations located at Shanghai, Kunming and Urumqi. The capability of CDAS has been demonstrated for the detection of weak sources with improved sensitivity.

  • A fuzzy microcontroller is presented implementing a simplified inference mechanism. Fuzzification, rule composition and defuzzification are carried out by means of (basically) analog current-mode CMOS circuits operating in strong inversion. Also a voltage interface is provided with the external world. Combining analog and digital techniques allow a programming capability.

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명이라 일컬어지는 디지털 기술의 급속한 변화와 시장 환경의 불규칙한 변화 속에서 기업에서는 첨단화, 융합화된 디지털 기술을 신속히 감지하고 포착하여, 조직에 맞게 적용하는 동적 디지털 역량이 핵심 요소라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 기업에서 디지털 리더십과 디지털 전환과의 관계에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 알아보는 데 목적이 있으며, 특히 조직의 동적 디지털 역량과 조직의 디지털 수용 의도의 매개 혹은 조절 효과를 실증 분석하고자 한다. 전국의 산업단지 내 미니클러스터 참여기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하여 수집한 258부의 자료를 표본으로 가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과 동적 디지털 역량은 디지털 리더십과 디지털 전환과의 관계에서 유의한 매개효과를 보였고, 디지털 수용의도는 동적 디지털 역량과 디지털 전환과의 관계에서 조절효과를 보였다. 본 연구는 조직에서의 동적 디지털 역량, 디지털 수용의도의 개념과 측정항목을 체계화하였으며, 기업에서 디지털 전환 추진 시 동적 디지털 역량을 어떻게 측정 및 제고하고, 조직원의 디지털 수용의도를 어떻게 활용할 것인지에 관한 시사점을 제시하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

혁신클러스터의 효율적인 네트워크 운영에 관한 연구: 안양벤처밸리에서 지식산업진흥원의 이노카페운영을 중심으로 (The Study on Efficient Information Network in Regional innovation Cluster - The Case of Venture Valley in Anyang -)

  • This research was to analyze information network which contributed Anyang Venture Valley's development. And mutual communication between regional innovated companies was the essential factor of this growth. Anyang city with its Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency, KIPA, has first set up communication network, facility and other structures to create basis of communication. For that, they were able to operate various networking and promotion of communication which led to the enforcement of regional innovation in venture businesses. During its innovation, KIPA played a key role as a link between regional Innovated companies, which enabled active interactions between them. Government can verify significance of establishing network base with mediation function for lively communication for promoting innovation capability through Anyang Venture Valley's case.

디지털 제어 시스템의 연산시간 지연을 고려한 예측전류제어기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Predictive Current Controller with the Compensation of Computation Time Delay in a Digital Control Systems)

  • When a high performance current control is desired, a computation time delay of a digital control system may deteriorate the control performance of a current controller. Such a non-negligible effect can be considerable in transient state. This paper deals with the modified predictive current control that compensates the time delay effects of a conventional predictive current control. The method is closely related to a local average current control and a symmetrical PWM pattern generation. Also some theoretical approaches are presented to describe the voltage saturation boundary of the power converter. For validation, the proposed method is applied to an active power filter system. The experimental results show considerable improvement in current tracking capability.

자가 치유 기법을 이용한 고가용도 웹 서버 클러스터 (High Availability Web Server Cluster Using Self-healing Technique)

  • Although the web is becoming a widely accepted medium, it provides relatively poor performance and low availability. A cluster consists of a collection of interconnected stand-alone computers working together and provides a high-availability solution in application area such as web services or information systems. Web server clusters require a high-availability service with a proactive and practical fault management. However, as the system complexity grows, it is not easy to meet the requirement. Therefore, web server clusters must have self-fault management capability for meeting high-availability requirement. In this paper, we propose high availability web server clusters using self-healing technique with a minimal human intervention. Our experimental results show that a proposed method can be used to improve the availability of web server clusters.
