Synthesis of Cyclododecatriene from 1,3-Butadiene by Trimerization over Amine-Titanium Complex Catalyst (아민-티타늄착체 촉매상에서 1,3-부타디엔의 삼량화반응에 의한 싸이클로도데카트리엔의 합성)

  • The new complex catalysts were synthesized by the reaction of titanium compounds (titanium chloride or titanium butoxide) and diamines in this work, and they showed very high catalytic activities for the cyclododecatriene (CDT) synthesis from 1,3-butadiene through trimerization. CDT synthetic reaction was performed in an autoclave reactor, and the effects of reaction temperature, type of catalyst, catalyst amount added into the system, the mole ratio of Al/Ti and immobilization method were investigated on the yield of product CDT. The titanium complex catalyst combined to diamine with 1:1 ratio showed high selectivity to CDT more than 90%. The ratio of TTT-CDT/TTC-CDT isomers in the product revealed as different values, depending on the type of diamine combined to titanium and Ti/diamine ratios. Those homogeneous complexes could be used as a heterogenized catalyst after anchoring on the supports, and the immobilized titanium catalyst retained the catalytic activities for several times in the recycled reactions without leaching. The carbon support containing titanium has exhibited superior activity to the silica support. Especially, when the titanium complex was anchored on the support which was fabricated by the hydrolysis of tripropylaminosilane itself, the resulting titanium catalyst showed the highest BD conversion and CDT selectivity.

  • In this study, The cathode interface layer (CIL) was investigated using aromatic diamine derivatives. Cz-TPD (4,4'-biscarbazolyl (9)-biphenyl) used in the cathode interface layers is investigated emition charcaracteristics at the green organic electroluminescent devices TPD (N.N'-dyphenyl-N-N'-bis(3-methy phenyl)-1.1'-biphenyl-4.4'-diamine) as the hole transformer layer and $Alq_3$:tris (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminium) as the electron transport layer and emiting layer maded use of the organic electroluminescent device. The Organic Electroluminescent Device with Ag, cathode and CIL of Cz-TPD(4,4'-biscarbazolyl(9)-biphenyl) showed good EL characteristics compare to a conventional Mg:Ag device and also an improved storage stability.[1] As the change in MgAg, Cz-TPD/Ag, Ag at the chthode, the electron and optical charcaracteriseics were investigated.

  • In this study, waterborne polyurethane was prepared from polyester polyol, $H_{12}MDI$, DMPA and sulfopropylated polypropyleneglycol-${\alpha}$,${\omega}$-diamine (SP). The $T_g$ of waterborne polyurethane was increased as the SP content increased, while it was decreased at the NCO/OH ratio of 1.8. Also the hydrolysis-resistance and tensile strength were increased as the SP content increased. The tensile strength decrement of WPU-SP was 2~5% with the exception of WPU-SP-1.

  • New spiro[benzo[c]fluorene-7,9'-fluorene] (SBFF)-based blue host materials, 9-phenyl-SBFF (BH-4P) and 5,9-diphenyl-SBFF (BH-6DP), were successfully prepared by spiro-formation of 9-phenyl-7H-benzo[c]fluoren-7-one with 2-bromobiphenyl via lithiation and reaction of 5,9-dibromo-SBFF with phenylboronic acid through the Suzuki reaction, respectively. Diphenyl-[4-(2-[1,1;4,1]terphenyl-4-yl-vinyl)-phenyl]-amine (BD-1) and N,N-diphenyl-N',N'-diphenyl-SBFF-5,9-diamine (BD-6DPA) were used as dopant materials. Blue OLEDs with the configuration ITO/N,N'-bis-[4-(di-m-tolylamino)phenyl]-N,N'-diphenylbiphenyl-4,4'-diamine (DNTPD)/bis[N-(1-naphthyl)-N-phenyl]benzidine (NPB)/host:5% dopant/SFC-137/Al-LiF were prepared from the two host materials doped with BD-1 and BD-6DPA dopants and the devices composed of BH-4P and BH-6DP doped with BD-6DPA showed blue EL spectra at 458 and 463 nm at 7 V and luminance efficiencies of 4.58 and 4.88 cd/A, respectively.

Effects of EDTA on morphology of hydroxyapatite prepared by hydrothermal method (수열합성법에 의해 합성된 수산화아파타이트 결정의 입자 형상에 관한 EDTA의 영향)

  • Hydroxyapatite (HAP) crystals with hexagonal structure have been successfully synthesized by using EDTA(ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid) as chelate under hydrothermal condition. The as-prepared HAp powders were characterized by XRD and SEM. The XRD result indicated that the products were preferentially oriented along c-axis. The SEM photographs showed that the morphology of the HAp crystals was well controlled by the reaction parameters such as temperature, pH value, and the molar ratio of EDTA/Ca.
