Development of Intelligent Fault Diagnosis System for CIM (CIM 구축을 위한 지능형 고장진단 시스템 개발)

  • This paper describes the fault diagnosis method to order to construct CIM in complex system with hierarchical structure similar to human body structure. Complex system is divided into unit, item and component. For diagnosing this hierarchical complex system, it is necessary to implement a special neural network. Fault diagnosis system can forecast faults in a system and decide from the signal information of current machine state. Comparing with other diagnosis system for a single fault, the developed system deals with multiple fault diagnosis, comprising hierarchical neural network (HNN). HNN consists of four level neural network, i.e. first is fault symptom classification and second fault diagnosis for item, third is symptom classification and forth fault diagnosis for component. UNIX IPC is used for implementing HNN with multitasking and message transfer between processes in SUN workstation with X-Windows (Motif). We tested HNN at four units, seven items per unit, seven components per item in a complex system. Each one neural network represents a separate process in UNIX operating system, information exchanging and cooperating between each neural network was done by message queue.

  • This study was written in order to help understanding of visible diagnosis of appearance(形). Visible diagnosis of appearance(形) is a very important factor of diagnosis and a first step of visible diagnosis. appearance(形) is closely connection with spirit(神), so is house of spirit(神). If we make a visible diagnosis of appearance(形), we know the prosperousness of energy and the relative seriousness of an illness. Spirit(神) is understood by appearances and movements of patient, and influenced by seasons, lands, human's relationship and the grade of age. By visible diagnosis of appearance(形), we can conclude existence or nonexistence of spirit(神), As comparing spirit(神) with appearance(形), we can decide good or bad prognoses. One man's own appearance(形) is determined by the five human type(五形人). There are very various points of changing form. As divided into principal groups, there are three main groups, that is, sky(天), earth(地) and man(人). The age and sex belong 治 the factor of sky(天), a direction and configuration of the ground(地形) belong to the factor of earth(地), the five human type(五形人) and white fatness(肥白) and black emaciation(黑瘦) belong to the factor of man(人).

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the relevance of Sasang constitution, Qi Blood pattern identification, and tongue diagnosis in subjects complaining of fatigue.Methods Seventy-three subjects who complained of fatigue were assessed using the Chalder Fatigue Scale, tongue diagnosis, pattern identification questionnaire and Sasang constitution diagnosis. The association of tongue diagnosis with Qi Blood pattern identification and Sasang constitution was evaluated.Results 1. There was no significant association between tongue diagnosis and Sasang constitution.2. Tongue color, which is one of the diagnostic indicators in tongue diagnosis, was redder in the Qi stagnation group than in the Qi deficiency and Blood deficiency groups.Conclusions Tongue diagnosis can be utilized in future if proper research regarding Sasang constitution and Sasang constitution pattern identification is conducted.

  • Maxillofacial images must be examined to find pathologies not identified during clinical examination. Unicystic ameloblastoma (UA) extending to the mandibular body and ramus was neglected on initial panoramic radiographic examination. After orthodontic therapy, a huge lesion was observed clinically and through imaging exams. After the conservative surgery, no recurrence was observed during five years of follow-up. This case emphasized the need for careful evaluation of patient images focusing on the oral diagnosis before any dental treatment planning, including orthodontic therapy.

  • The purpose of this study is to consider ways to stabilize the naval unit diagnosis system that has been implemented for five years. Check the historical process and theoretical background of the naval unit diagnosis system. This is to confirm the future direction of the naval unit diagnosis system research. Therefore, the importance of this system is confirmed and the direction of development is explained through application method. In particular, the study suggested the scientific development of analytical methods, the development of analytical programs, the development of leadership diagnostic programs, the increase of personnel in the unit diagnosis team, and the acquisition of expertise and reliability. In order for the naval unit diagnosis system to develop, internal and external continuous research is required.

  • Objective : The chonguinyoung pulse diagnosis method is convenient than twelve meridian pulse diagnosis method The $\ll$Maek-bup(脉法)$\gg$ are founded at Mawangtweo(馬王堆) of the han dynasty tomb in 1973, but it could diagnosis the exsitance of illness of twelve meridian also . Methods : In accordance to $\ll$Naekuoung(內經)$\gg$ inyoungmaek(人迎脈) in could be taken at the which is the pulse point of carotid artery on the line of foot yangmyoung stomach meridian (足陽明胃經) and chongumaek (寸口脈) at the taeyoun acu-point (太淵穴) pulse point on the line of hand taeyeun lung meridian (手太陰肺經). Results : Chonguinyoung pulse diagnosis method could be emphased on the point of diagnosing sick person and healthy person by the balance of yin (陰) yan (陽) composition in the body. Conclusion : Chonguinyoung pulse diagnosis method could be the indication of improvement and progress of disease also it could be adapt to diagnosis of twelve meridian and it is impossible to making choice of acupuncture, medication, moxibustion, vene-section and strengthing-eleminating treatment method (補瀉方法).

  • An expert system for stroke diagnosis was designed in this study. The causes of stroke in the central nervous systems are very diverse, symptoms may not appear in the early stage, so diagnosis ran be difficult. Also, doctors who treats patients with stroke must have expert knowledge for the quick and correct impending diagnosis. Therefore, an expert system for assisting the impending diagnosis of stroke has needed to be developed. In addition, the diagnosis system can be used as an simulator for medical students who study neurology. In this study, and diagnosis expert system was developed. It serves a pathological data bus provided by an interface. An inference engine makes an impending diagnosis of stroke possible. We implemented the system using Windows2000 Server, IIS5.0 and ASP.

  • A Neural networks has been used for a expert system and fault diagnosis system. It is possible to nonlinear function mapping and parallel processing. Therefore It has been developing for a Diagnosis system of nuclear plower plant. In general Neural Networks is a static mapping but Dynamic Neural Network(DNN) is dynamic mapping.쪼두 a fault occur in system a state of system is changed with transient state. Because of a previous state signal is considered as a information DNN is better suited for diagnosis systems than static neural network. But a DNN has many weights so a real time implementation of diagnosis system is in need of a rapid network architecture. This paper presents a algorithm for RCP monitoring Alarm diagnosis system using Self Dynamic Neural Network(SDNN). SDNN has considerably fewer weights than a general DNN. Since there is no interlink among the hidden layer. The effectiveness of Alarm diagnosis system using the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by applying to RCP monitoring in Nuclear power plant.

  • Pulse diagnosis, the most popular diagnostic tool in traditional Korean medicine, had had many forms but had been fixed on using wrist pulse and placing internal organs on Cun, Guan and Chi(寸 關 尺). Wang Shuhe(王叔和) suggested placing six viscera(六腑) on Cun, Guan and Chi based on relationship between external and internal meridian vessel, and Zhang Jiebin(張介賓) criticized his suggestion and insisted that pulse diagnosis should be based on the organ system. But the origin of pulse diagnosis which can be found in "(Huangdi's) Internal Classic(黃帝內經)" is a tool mainly for diagnosis of not internal organ system but meridian system. Most of material about pulse diagnosis after Ming dynasty(明代) reinterpreted pulse diagnosis in the aspect of organ system, So there has to be additional discussion about it.

  • Increasing of number of people who suffered from long term chronic diseases which required frequent daily health monitoring and body check up in conjunction with the trendy uses of mobile phones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) in various ubiquitous computing had make portable healthcare system a well known application today. A mobile phone based portable healthcare monitoring system with multiple vital signals monitoring ability at real time in WSN and CDMA network is developed. This system carries out real time monitoring and local data analysis process in the mobile phone. Any detection of abnormal health condition and diagnosis at earlier stage will reduce the risk of patient's life. As an extension to the existing model, a pre-diagnosis management system (PDMS) is designed to minimize the time consuming in pre-diagnosis process in the hospital or healthcare center. An alert is sent to the web server at the healthcare center when the patient detects his health is at critical state where the immediate diagnosis is needed. Preparation of diagnosis equipments and arrangement of doctor and nurses at the hospital side can be done earlier before the arrival of patient at the hospital with the help of PDMS. An efficient pre-diagnosis management increases the chances of diseases recovery rate as well.
