분리장치의 형상에 따른 미립자 유동특성 (Flow Characteristics of Fine Particles for Separated Device Shapes)

  • Recently high speed mixer, which is mixing, grinding, dispersion for liquid-liquid material, has been widely used several industries such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, electronic material. This high speed mixer has a core element part called particle separation device. Particle separation device, which makes mixed liquid and liquid material using shear forces from a rotor and a stator, is a decisive factor in the distributed parts. In this study, we examined the velocity distribution of the two models of particle separation device using computation fluid dynamics, so that we were able to see the difference of the velocity distribution according to the shape. Also, by experiment, we observed that the use of rotor-screen type is deemed more suitable in case of accurately considering the effect of improving of the dispersibility through the circulation of the future.

  • 가속도추종 유로개방장치는 고속 비행체의 가압식 연료탱크에서 연료가 쏠림현상으로 인해 단절되는 것을 막아 연속적으로 흐르게 한다. 기개발된 이 유로개방장치를 실제 고속으로 시험하는 것은 까다로운 시험조건과 비용문제로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 저속 항공기에 탑재해 기본적인 역중력 시험(Negative-g test)을 수행하고 RecurDyn으로 해석한 결과와 비교하였다. 그리고 고속비행체의 비행궤적에 따른 유로개방장치의 동역학적 거동을 RecurDyn으로 알아보았다.

  • We investigate micro-tip properties as Ni-Co plating and CMP processes for MEMS probe card and units. The micro-tip are fabricated by using Ni-Co plating machine, lapping machine, and chemo-mechanical polisher. In order to get high conductive and reliable micro-tip, we control Co contents and thickness by CMP speed. We have found that about 20-25% of Co contents are required and have to lapping speed of 30 rpm. Also, we investigate photolithography and Ni-Co plating processes conditions for the one-step and the three-step micro-tips.

  • Seawater flow characteristics around a manganese nodule mining device in deep sea were analyzed through numerical investigation. The mining device influences the seawater flow field with complicated velocity distributions, and they are largely dependent on the seawater flow speed, device moving speed, and injection velocity from the collecting part. The flow velocity and turbulent kinetic energy distributions are compared at several positions from the device rear, side, and top, and it is possible to predict the distance from which the mining device affects the seawater flow field through the variation of turbulent kinetic energy. With the operation of the collecting device the turbulent kinetic energy remarkably increases, and it gradually decreases along the seawater flow direction. Turbulent kinetic energy behind the mining system increases with the seawater flow velocity. The transient behavior of nodule particles, which are not collected, is also predicted. This study will be helpful in creating an optimal design for a manganese nodule collecting device that can operate efficiently and which is eco-friendly.

  • High speed rotating machines can be very sensitive to rotating mass unbalance that is a major source of harmful vibration for many types of rotating machinery. So, the balancing procedure is needed for all high-speed rotating system. To save the time and cost of off-line balancing, many researchers have developed the on-line balancing devices and methods. In this paper, an active balancing device, which is an electro-magnetic type, is developed and the active balancing algorithm using influence coefficient method is also proposed. The active balancing experiment for flexible rotors during operation is performed by an active balancing device. As a result, controlled unbalance responses are below the vibration limit at all rotating speed ranges with critical speed.

  • 고속열차의 설계 및 운행기술이 발전하면서 고속철도의 운행속도가 빠르게 증속되고 있다. 반면 증속 시 발생하는 소음으로 인해 고속철도 연변의 주거지역 등에서는 많은 소음문제가 발생하고 있으며, 고속철도 소음에 대한 민원도 지속적인 증가추세에 있다. 향후 고속철도가 원활히 설계속도대로 운행되기 위해서는 고속철도의 방사소음특성에 적합한 소음예측기술 및 저감기술이 개발되어야 한다. 이와 같은 요구에 부합하기 위해, 400 km/h 고속철도 인프라 연구가 수년에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 이 연구를 통해 신뢰성을 갖는 고속철도 소음예측평가 기술이 개발되었고, 현재 소음저감기술의 단점을 극복하기 위한 핵심방음장치가 개발되었다. 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 고속철도 환경소음을 줄이기 위해 개발된 선로 변 벽체 상단에 설치되는 상단장치의 소음성능평가 및 풍압안전성 검증에 관한 것이다.

  • For the purpose of the acoustic performance evaluation of noise reduction device(NRD) installed at the top of noise barrier for further decreasing of noise level of 400km/h class high-speed railroad(HEMU), the acoustic performance test method using speaker instead of really running railway vehicle was suggested in this paper. For this, noise source location and frequency spectrum of HEMU was analyzed through the field noise test. These data were used for the determination of speaker's installation positions and frequency correction values applied to the speaker noise source. And, 400 meters long NRD was installed at the site where HEMU will be running at a speed of 400km/h. Finally, the outdoor speaker test with and without NRD showed that this NRD could decrease noise level even more than 3dB(A). In the future, the acoustic performance results of NRD conducted with speaker test will be compared with that of field test for HEMU running at a speed of 400km/h.

  • DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) is the data storage media devised to make high storage density and high data input/output possible. Therefore higher rotational speed and better accuracy in optical pick-up are required compared with the existing optical storage device. These operational functional requirements are concerned with abilities of optical storage device. Especially, High rotational speed is deeply concerned with the noise and vibration of optical storage device, is important problem in development of optical storage device so much. This paper propose a new concept ROM media of optical storage device named as Cylindrical ROM media, and evaluate this by means of Axiomatic approach and empirical data.

  • The conventional motor in a crane has a tan generator to feed back the number of turns. The tan generator is contacted to a motor shaft through the coupling. Don has been often generated because the coupling has worn out while the motor is turning. In this paper, we design the speed-measurement device of motor in a un. The device is composed of PIC16F84 controller, photo-sensor, and analog-to digital converter. The photo sensor measures the turn of a motor without contact so the device decreases the probability of errors. And The device can acknowledge the turn direction of the motor with a gin81e senor and two color reflectors.

자기유변유체를 이용한 회전 각속력 제어 (Control of Rotational Angular Speed using Magneto-rheological Fluid)

  • 본 연구에서는 가해지는 자기장에 따라 항복응력이 변하는 자기유변유체를 이용한 제동 장치를 개발하였다. 현재 선진국을 중심으로 활발히 연구되어지는 자기유변유체는, 유체에 가해지는 자기장의 변화에 따라 유체의 항복응력이 변하는데, 이러한 성질을 이용하여 제동력의 정확한 제어가 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 제동 장치를 이용하여, 외부에서 회전체에 가해지는 토크가 변동할 경우에 회전체의 회전 속력를 일정하게 유지시키는 기능을 구현하였다. 회전체의 회전속력을 측정하여, 비례-적분 피드백 제어를 사용하여 구현하였다. 우선, 실험과 시뮬레이션 결과의 비교를 통해 개발된 제동 장치의 매개변수값을 구하였고, 이 값들을 이용하여 비례-적분 피드백 제어 시뮬레이션 결과를 예측하였다. 또한 초기 각속력이 있는 자유낙하실험, 수동 크랭킹 실험들을 수행하여, 개발된 장치를 통하여 회전체의 회전속력을 일정하게 유지할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 속력 제한 기능은 개발된 제동 장치의 응용의 한 예로서, 회전체의 적절한 물리량을 측정한 후. 적절한 피드백 제어를 가하면, 얼마든지 원하는 다른 기능을 구현해 낼 수 있다.
