To investigate the national science and technology policy direction in the field of construction machinery, an analysis was conducted on projects selected as national research and development (R&D) initiatives by the government. Assuming that the project titles contain key keywords, text mining was employed to substantiate this assumption. Project information data spanning nine years from 2014 to 2022 was collected through the National Science & Technology Information Service (NTIS). To observe changes over time, the years were divided into three-year sections. To analyze research trends efficiently, keywords were categorized into groups: 'equipment,' 'smart,' and 'eco-friendly.' Based on the collected data, keyword frequency analysis, N-gram analysis, and topic modeling were performed. The research findings indicate that domestic government R&D in the construction machinery field primarily focuses on smart-related research and development. Specifically, investments in monitoring systems and autonomous operation technologies are increasing. This study holds significance in analyzing objective research trends through the utilization of big data analysis techniques and is expected to contribute to future research and development planning, strategic formulation, and project management.

This study was conducted to explore the latest trends in domestic research related to career development for nurses and present a theoretical approach and practical direction of career related papers in the field of nursing and health care. The subject of the study was articles regarding career development of nurses published in domestic journals from 2008 to 2017. The final 29 papers were found after searching the RISS and KISS databases for 'nursing', 'nurse', 'career', 'career development', 'career development program', and 'career management.' To analyze the overall trends, the analysis was reviewed by year, source, research design, and subjects, and content analysis was used to identify trends by topic. The results of content analysis were divided into career development and career development results as the upper categories. The subcategories of career development were divided into organizational career management, personal career management, and career performance. The subcategories of personal career management consisted of career exploration, career planning, career plateau, and career interruption. Organizational career management consisted of CLS development and application, CLS awareness survey, and career development model building. Career performance consisted of career commitment, organizational commitment, turnover intention, change after CLS application, career satisfaction, and career withdrawal intention. The most frequently discussed topics were career commitment among career performance. Therefore, the direction of nursing research related to career development requires integrated research that meets personal and organizational needs, and diversity in subject, research design and research theme is required.

The possibility of technological development and commercialization of gene therapy has been increased along with the success of Human Genome Project. A lot of gene-therapy-based R＆D and clinical trials have been advanced. The US and EU have led the global technological development, and Korea is in early stage although many institutions and firms have participated in this area.

Radiopharmaceuticals are constantly being studied in the field of tumor diagnosis and therapy. As a result, many patents have been registered related to the development of radiopharmaceutical therapy. In this study, effective patents related to radiology and nuclear medicine filed during the past 10 years were collected from various countries like Korea, United States, Japan, Europe etc., and the application trends and growth stages were analyzed through statistical analysis. From the analysis results of 47,991 patents related to radiology and nuclear medicine, only 6,268 registered patents were found valid, and 80% of those were related to radiopharmaceutical development. In addition, we analyzed the patent of major competitors and used them to analyze the trends in radioisotopes and medicinal research. Among these, all the top 10 major applicants have found to be concentrating on radiopharmaceutical development.

In this study, social network analysis was performed to compare and analyze changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 in a situation where the damage to the tourism industry due to COVID-19 is increasing. Using Textom, a big data analysis service, data were collected using the keywords "travel destination" and "travel trend" based on the collection period of 2019 and 2020, when the epidemic spread to the world and became chaotic. After extracting a total of 80 key words through text mining, centrality was analyzed using NetDraw of Ucinet6, and clustered into 4 groups through CONCOR analysis. Through this, we compared and analyzed changes in domestic tourism trends before and after the outbreak of COVID-19, and it is judged to provide basic data for tourism marketing strategies and tourism product development in the post-COVID-19.

Since the third artificial intelligence boom was triggered by deep learning, it has been 10 years. It is time to analyze and discuss the research trends of deep learning for the stable development of AI. In this regard, this study systematically analyzes the trends of research on deep learning over the past 10 years. We collected research literature on deep learning and performed LDA based topic modeling analysis. We analyzed trends by topic over 10 years. We have also identified differences among the major research countries, China, the United States, South Korea, and United Kingdom. The results of this study will provide insights into research direction on deep learning in the future, and provide implications for the stable development strategy of deep learning.

The purpose of this study was to analyze recent research trends of mathematics textbooks to provide implications for textbook research and development. For this purpose, 90 out of 1121 research papers published between 2006 and 2011 in seven prestigious domestic journals were selected. The papers dealing with only Korean mathematics textbooks were analyzed by school levels (i.e., elementary or secondary), mathematics content areas, analytic methods, and implications. The papers comparing our mathematics textbooks with foreign counterparts were analyzed by reasons for the comparison, school levels, subjects for analysis, and implications. The results of this study urge us to pay more attention to secondary mathematics textbooks, least studied content areas, and various but inconsistent analytic methods. This paper also suggests close connections between textbook analysis and textbook development.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to derive clues about the development direction of research ethics and areas of interest which has recently become a social issue in Korea by confirming overseas research trends. Research design, data and methodology: We collected 2,760 articles in scienceON, which including 'research ethics' in their paper. For analysis, frequency analysis, word clouding, keyword association analysis, and LDA topic modeling were used. Results: It was confirmed that many of the papers were published in medical, bio, pharmaceutical, and nursing journals and its interest has been continuously increasing. From word frequency analysis, many words of medical fields such as health, clinical, and patient was confirmed. From topic modeling, 7 topics were extracted such as ethical policy development and human clinical ethics. Conclusions: We founded that overseas research trends on research ethics are related to basic aspects than Korea. This means that a fundamental approach to ethics and the application of strict standards can become the basis for cultivating an overall ethical awareness. Therefore, academic discussions on the application of strict standards for publishing ethics and conducting researches in various fields where community awareness and social consensus are necessary for overall ethical awareness.

Long-term trends and distribution patterns of water quality were investigated in the Asan coastal areas of Yellow Sea, Korea from 1975 to 2005. Water samples were collected at 3 stations and physicochemical parameters were analyzed including water temperature, salinity, suspended solids(SS), chemical oxygen demand(COD), dissolved oxygen(DO) and nutrients. Spatial distribution patterns were not clear among stations but the seasonal variations were distinct except COD, SS and nitrate. The trend analysis by principal component analysis(PCA) during twenty years revealed the significant variations in water quality in the study area, Annual water qualities were clearly discriminated into 4 clusters by PCA; year cluster 1988-1991, 1994-1997, and 1992-1993/1998-2005. By this multi-variate analysis we can summarize the annual trends as the followings; salinity, suspended solids and dissolved oxygen tended to increase from late 1980's, increased pH and COD from 1992, and decreased salinity and increased nitrogen and COD from 1990 due to the runoff frow agricultural lands causing eutrophication.
