A dynamic lot size model is developed for the deteriorating items. The amount of deterioration during a period is assumed to be proportional to the inventory at the end of the period. It is further assumed that deterioration rates can differ among periods. This new model is shown to be equivalent to the general one by simple transformation of some variables. A numerical example is given to illustrate the derived results.

An order-level inventory model for a perishable product with a time-dependent demand is developed for a fixed planning pe-riod allowing backlogging in all cycles within the said period. The market demand is assumed to decrease exponentially as time elapses. The average system cost is derived and its optimization procedure is illustrated with a numerical example. Sensitivity of the optimal so-lution to changes in the values of different parameters of the system is also analysed.

An order level inventory model is developed for deteriorating items. The demand during prescribed scheduling period is constant and deterministic in which the demand follows power pattern. Deterioration is assumed to be a constant fraction of the on hand inventory. The expression for the optimal order level is developed and an example is given to illustrate the model.

A model for a system whose deteriorating rate depends on the state is introduced. A repairman arrives according to Poisson process and increases the state of the system by the random amount if the state is below a threshold. If the system fails at arrival of the repairman it is assumed that the system is replaced by new one. The stationary distribution function of the state of the system and the expected life length of the system are deduced.

본 논문은 제품 공급자로부터 일정량의 덤이 제공되는 상황에서 퇴화성 제품의 경제적 주문량 결정에 대하여 연구한다. 공급자로부터 제공되는 덤의 크기는 주문량의 크기, 즉 거래단위에 따라 차별적으로 제공된다는 가정하에 최적주문 및 재고정책 결정을 위한 해법이 제시되며 예제를 통하여 덤의 크기에 따른 재고정책의 민감도를 계량적으로 분석한다.

This paper deals with the problem of determining the buyer's economic lot sizing policy for exponentially deteriorating products under trade credit. It is also assumed that the ordering cost consists of a fixed set-up cost and a freight cost, where the freight cost has a quantity discount offered due to the economies of scale. We formulate the mathematical model and the solution algorithm is developed based on the properties of an optimal solution.

Purpose : This retrospective mixed-methods study aimed to explore key considerations for designing effective simulated education in nursing, focusing specifically on the recognition and response to deteriorating patients. Methods : Quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed to assess the clinical judgment and performance of the nursing students. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze quantitative data related to prior knowledge, simulation satisfaction, clinical judgment, and nursing performance during deteriorating patient simulations. Qualitative content analysis was conducted for the reflective journal entries of the participants. Results : Quantitative analysis showed that most participants demonstrated a "being skillful" level of clinical judgment (33.1%) in effective response. At the beginner level, clinical judgment varied across effective noticing(39.7-82.8%), effective interpretating(77.6-82.8%), effective responding(3.4-86.2%), and effective reflecting(90.0-95.4%). Nursing performance in assessing patient respiration or SpO2 after request from a physician ranged from 46.6-48.3%. Qualitative analysis indicated that 48.5% of the participants anticipated a deteriorating condition and initiated appropriate actions, while 70% noticed patient unresponsiveness for the first time. Conclusion : To design an effective simulation program for identifying and addressing deteriorating patient care, a framework for observation and interpretation is essential, along with regular simulated training. It is important to design and assess simulation programs and to conduct thorough interviews with nursing students to gain insight into their clinical decision-making.

최근에 교량구조물의 부식과 노회에 대한 관심이 모아지고 있는 상황에서 부식된 철근의 불확실성은 교량구조물의 안전성 뿐만 아니라 철근콘크리트 부재의 휨강도에 영향을 미치고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이들 불확실성을 고려한 신뢰성 뼈대구조물의 거동과 최적유지관리 시나리오에 대한 검증을 제시하고 있으며, 이들 과정은 부죄된 구조물의 생애주기를 고려한 프로그램에 의해 산출한 값이며 부식구조물의 신뢰성지수 프로파일에 의한 여러 형태의 구조물에 대한 영향을 고려하여 유지관리 효과에 대해 연구 하였다.
