First, generally the more business employ the financial and non financial outcome analysis for evaluation process, the higher the success rate of new product development becomes in the domestic restaurant market. Second, the study shows that the financial outcome tends to be considered more than non financial outcome on deciding success of the new product development. Third, it is indicated that although detailed plans have a large impact on the outcome of new product development, communication between departments within a company is not a considerably important factor for deciding success of the new product. Fourth, 'market environment' has significant influence on deciding adoption level of financial and non financial outcome analysis, organizational resources and culture.

A numerical study is performed to predict the effect of operating conditions on the thermal response of electronic assemblies during infrared reflow soldering. The multimode heat transfer within the reflow oven as well as within the electronic assembly is simulated, and the predictions illustrate the detailed thermal responses. Parametric study is performed to determine the thermal response of electronic assemblies to various conditions such as conveyor speed, exhaust velocity, and component emissivity. The predictions of the detailed electronic assembly thermal response can be used in selecting the oven operating conditions to ensure proper soldering and minimization of thermally-induced electronic assembly stresses.

Homogeneous charge compression ignition (HCCI) was the best concept able to provide low NOx and PM in diesel engine emissions. This new alternative combustion process was mainly controlled by chemical kinetics in comparison with the conventional combustion in internal combustion engine. In this paper, detailed kinetic reaction mechanisms of diesel surrogate was investigated to understand the diesel HCCI engine combustion. It was tested two existing mechanisms and two new mechanisms for the comparison of experimental result. The best mechanism for diesel surrogate was suggested through this comparison.

In aviation, it is important to analyse and classify human error in detail. Because human error has been implicated in 70 or 80% of aviation accidents in literature review. But, there is little detailed classification and research of human error. In this study, Objectives are to establish human error model by classifying types of human error in detail and also to analyse human factors by using the established model. Analysis of the data uses Korea Aviation Incidents Reporting System(GYRO). The resulting from actual analysis, there is a some difference between flight steps for human error occurrence and types of human error are different according to the aviation personnel(pilot, ATC controller).

The wavelet transform is a popular tool for studying intermittent and localized phenomena in signals. In this study the wavelet transform of cutting force signals was conducted for the detection of a tool failure in turning process. We used the Daubechies wavelet analyzing function to detect a sudden change in cutting signal level. A preliminary stepped workpiece which had intentionally a hard condition was cut by the inserted cermet tool and a tool dynamometer obtained cutting force signals. From the results of the wavelet transform, the obtained signals were divided into approximation terms and detailed terms. At tool failure, the approximation signals were suddenly increased and the detailed signals were extremely oscillated just before tool failure.

Activation energy asymptotics (AEA) for Linan#s premixed-flame regime is revisited in this paper. First, the detailed AEA procedure for the premixed-flame regime is demonstrated, so that the practitioners of AEA could easily apply the method to their own problems. In addition, the controversies surrounding the premixed-flame regime, namely the closure controversy and fast-time instability paradox, are explained. Finally, the limitation of AEA, mainly arising from the wrong prediction of fuel leakage through the reaction zone, is examined and the Zel#dovich-Linan kinetics is introduced as an alternative to meet the needs of modern combustion analysis, where the detailed chemical structure of flame is demanded.

A detailed geothermal characteristics survey with numerical simulations of the heat transfer in a site for ground source heat pump system is necessary for deploying a shallow geothermal utilization system. Density, specific heat, thermal diffusivity, and thermal conductivity are measured on 91 core samples from a 300 m deep borehole in KIGAM(Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources). The heat flow is estimated from the thermal gradient and average thermal conductivity and the correlation between fracture system and hydraulic conductivity is analyzed. From the obtained ground information of the study site the performance of the ground heat pump system can be analyzed with some detailed numerical simulations for seasonal heat pump operation skill and optimal system design techniques.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a CD-ROM title for the prevention of sexual harassment and violence in middle school students. Method: The process for developing the CD-ROM title consisted of 10 steps proposed by Alessi and Trollip. Results: This CD-ROM title was composed of 4 domains, 11 subjects, and 31 detailed subjects. The 4 domains were: 1) understanding of sexual harassment and violence, 2) cases of sexual harassment and violence, 3) prevention and coping strategies, and 4) sexual knowledge. The subjects included texts, and the detailed subjects included graphics, animations, videos, and pictures. Conclusion: This CD-ROM may reduce the occurrence of sexual harassment and violence and accommodate enriched humanity in middle school students.

Inventory survey is process collecting data about cut slope. It's different from inspection. It contains not only basic information about cut slope, especially location, GPS positioning, height, length, weathering, joint direction, water conditions but also level of danger and damage. Collected data are being used get at status about cut slope along national roads. And It helps judging about priority of detailed investigation. According to results of analysis, we found better method about maintenance of cut slope. Later on, if inventory research is finished, we will understand characteristics of collapse slopes.

Who understand the detailed situation to take part in making decisions concerning management actively, the role of the accounting dept. through the use of the control counting on the detailed tasks and analysis of cost price and the accountants' opinion about it.
