Today, importance is being placed on interior design and thus the scope of interior design market became very large. Management environment of an interior design office, however, often faces manu difficulties to meet a variety of customers' demand, so that expert and reasonable management ability is required. Accordingly, this study was conducted to provide basic materials on management environment for maximizing profit generation of an interior design office by investing real management situation on the subject of persons participating in management of an interior design office. As a result of investigation of 80 interior design offices which was registered in Daegu, design ratio of most of the offices was found to be less than 20% due to building owners' lack of recognition of and insufficient legal systems, and in spite that there was a department or staff fully in charge, top management makes an estimate. With regard to importance of interior design, it was found that they regarded reliability with customers as most important, and give priority to practical ability and human nature in employing a new comer. It was revealed that most offices have neither department taking fully charge of marketing, nor positive publicity, and in outside activities, the major of management have high relation with sales.

최근 건설산업에서 관리에 대한 중요성이 증대됨에 따라 포괄적 건설관리에 대한 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 건축 설계업무능력 향상을 위한 설계업무 프로세스 개선방안을 제시하는 것을 주목적으로 하였다 제시되는 의사결정 정보 흐름을 중심으로 한 설계업무 프로세스 개선방안은 건축 설계 시 각 참여팀 간의 원활한 의사소통과 정보의 추적 뿐 아니라 전체 프로세스에 대한 관리를 원활하게 하기 위한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과로 제시한 개선방향은 다음의 세 가지 요소로 된다. (1) 세분화되고 명확한 업무 정의, (2) 정보흐름 중심의 업무 정의, (3) 설계관리에 대한 업무 강화.

This paper describes an information model, devised to manage roadway design information and to improve the collaboration among the multidisciplinary design teams. An analysis concerning the workflow, the rules and the functions of current roadway design was conducted. A process model based on the result of the analysis was developed by utilizing IDEF0 methodology. The process model reflects the interdependencies among multidisciplinary design disciplines and is capable of managing communication processes. This paper also discusses the design information hierarchy and the component representation schemes for systematic design information management. It is anticipated that the proposed information model would be able to improve the overall process of design of roadway construction projects by managing design information and helping the participants communicate and share information of the project effectively.

Faced with increasing competitive pressures to reduce time-to-market, many business organizations have recognized that shortening the design cycle by taking full advantage of their intellectual property is inevitable in maintaining their market share. This paper describes a knowledge management system for machine tool design. Product structuring, change management, and complex design knowledge management are possible through the developed system. The system can speed up the design process by making necessary data instantly available as it is needed and keeping track of all the relevant design information and knowledge including individual decisions, design intentions, documents, and drawings.

디자인 경영 분야에서 푹 넓게 나타나고 있는 개념상의 혼란은 과연 무슨 이유 때문인가\ulcorner 나날이 더해 가는 디자인 경영의 중요성에 비추어 이 문제에 대한 명확한 해석이 필요한 시점이다. 이 연구에서는 1950년대 초반 디자인 경영이라는 용어가 영국에서 처음으로 사용되기 시작한 이래로 현재까지 40여 년 동안 이 분야에서 나타난 개념상의 변화를 관련 문헌의 주석을 통해 고찰하였다. 그것은 곧 전문 서적 이야말로 그 시대의 학문적 상황과 요구를 반영하는 지적 소산이라는 인식을 바탕으로 하는 것이다. 즉 1970년대까지는 산업 디자인 위주로 디자인 경영의 개념이 형성되었고, 1980년대부터는 디자인의 여러 분양에서 나름대로 디자인 경영이 자리를 잡게 되었다. 이어 1990년대에는 경영 전략적 가치를 중심으로 디자인 경영에 대한 새로운 개념이 형성되고 있다. 그 결과로 디자인 경영에서의 강조점이 협의의 디자인-광의의 디자인-전략적 경영으로 바뀜에 따라 그와 같은 개념상의 혼란이 초래되었음이 명확히 밝혀졌다. 이것은 곧 디자인 경영이 기업 경영에서 본질적인 요소의 하나로 점차 중요한 위상을 점해 가고 있음을 나타내 주는 것이라고 할 수 있다.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a CAD object management system for the design library in VHDL design environment. For the efficient manipulation of design objects, the library is managed independently of the underlaid CAD system. Management and revision of design objects can be performed by a batch script of server commands or through the user interaction in the X/MOTIF graphic environment. Through the library server, design management tasks can be efficiently performed, such as configuration of design objects, version control, and management of attributes and methods for versions. Experimental results show that the proposed system is a viable tool for the management of design data in VHDL design environment.

The problem of managing digital design data including drawings, specifications and other technical data in building design and construction units is a real challenge, especially when there is a need to structure the design information across building design companies. The main difficulty in this information management is the shortage of unified rules (or standards) on how the digital design data should be gathered, archived, and preserved in the most efficient way for building design and construction units. The most important issue, which addressed in this work, is the standardized reference of all design data definitions.

감성과 창의성이 중요시 되는 21세기 경영환경에서 디자인은 경영전략의 핵심요소로 널리 인식되어 감에 따라 전세계적으로 디자인과 경영이 결합된 디자인 경영의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 급변하는 기업환경은 대기업보다는 기업운영에 탄력적인 중소,벤처기업들에게 보다 유리한 경영환경으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 디자인 경영은 다양한 분야의 지식을 통합하여 바람직한 해결안을 창출해내는 디자인 분야의 특성에 비추어 볼 때, 경영의 통합적 접근방식이 매우 효과적인 경영운영방식으로 그 중요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 벤처중소기업의 최고경영자들은 디자인 경영의 혁신을 위해서 적극 참여하는 것은 좋지만 전문성을 인정하고 디자인 경영을 확실하게 이끌 수 있는 전문가를 확보하고 전사적인 차원에서 교육을 통해 누구나 자발적으로 혹은 창의적인 아이디어를 이끌어 내도록 노력 할 수 있는 환경과 기회를 마련해주는 것이 중요하며, 이를 위한 자신만의 디자인 경영프로세스를 구축하는 것이 주요하다. 이를 위해 대전지역의 중소벤처기업들이 기업의 핵심역량 강화와 디자인을 경영 수준에서 전략적으로 활용하고 디자인 경영에 대한 인식을 제고시켜 기업들의 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 디자인 경영의 활용 및 추진 방안을 제시하고 한다.

This report is to do design management for constructability review of high quality exposed concrete, which is used increasingly in recent. To secure systematic management at design phase, we reviewed each definition and work at each design phase, we define high quality exposed concrete, a part of architectural concrete, as "an exposed concrete which has well ordered joint & is in pursuit of smooth surface." We reviewed requirements and influential factor to obtain High quality finishing surface and compared construction process of high quality exposed concrete with that of other finishing method. Management method at each design phase for constructability review to meet additional works and requirements is presented.
