플라워디자인 산업 활성화를 위한 팟캐스트 콘텐츠의 가능성 연구 (Exploring the Potential of Podcasts in Flower Design Industry)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 최근 급속히 성장하고 있는 팟캐스트를 플라워 디자인 산업에서 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지에 대한 가능성을 탐색해보려는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 글로벌 팟캐스트 플랫폼 차트 순위에 올라있는 외국의 플라워 팟캐스트 사례를 선정하고 콘텐츠의 장르, 내용, 구성요소, 진행방식 등을 살펴보았다. 그리고 팟캐스트 운영 목적, 호스트와 수용자 사이의 소통유형, 수용자 상호작용, 산업 연관성, 미디어 확장전략 등을 분석하여 시사점을 얻고 국내에서의 플라워 팟캐스트의 가능성이 무엇인지를 도출해내고자 하였다. 외국의 플라워 팟캐스트를 분석한 결과, 운영자들은 팟캐스트를 통해 풍부한 경험과 지식을 바탕으로 청취자 커뮤니티를 구축하여 교육, 마케팅 등에 활용하고 있었으며 팟캐스터들은 콘텐츠 제작을 통해 전문성향상과 인적 네트워크 구축으로 산업계의 리더로 활동하거나 지속가능한 플라워산업과 같은 여론을 주도하였다. 팟캐스트 콘텐츠는 재가공되어 다양한 미디어에서 유통됨으로써 플라워 디자인 문화의 확산에 활용되었다. 외국 사례분석을 통해 국내 플라워 팟캐스트 콘텐츠의 가능성은 다음과 같이 제시되었다. 팟캐스트는 플라워 디자인 산업 관련 커뮤니티 형성에 기반이 될 수 있을 것이다. 플라워 디자인 전문가들은 팟캐스트를 다양한 콘텐츠의 원천 자산으로 활용할 수 있으며 업계 내의 청취자들은 플라워 비즈니스에 대한 실제적 지식을 얻는 통로로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 인기있는 플라워 팟캐스트가 등장할 경우 플라워 디자인 문화를 크게 확산시켜 산업의 활성화에 기여할 수 있다. 1인 미디어를 적극적으로 활용해야 하는 환경에서 플라워 팟캐스트는 여기에 대응하는 출발점이 될 수 있을 것이다.

한국과 미국의 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영현황 비교 분석 (Comparison Analysis on Operation Characteristics of Design Consultancies between Korea and America)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영현황을 미국의 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영현황과 비교해 보고 향후 디자인컨설팅 산업이 질적인 성장을 이루기 위한 방안들을 모색해 보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 분석을 위해 우리나라 109개 디자인컨설팅기업과 미국의 97개 디자인컨설팅기업을 대상으로 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영특성에 대한 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 수집된 자료에 대한 비교분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 디자인컨설팅기업의 운영특성인 클라이언트기업과의 장기적인 파트너쉽 관계형성, 다학제적 조직구성, 결과중심의 보상체계 운영, 클라이언트기업의 전략적 수준에서의 디자인컨설팅서비스 제공, 능동적인 디자인비즈니스의 실행, 기업간의 융합 네트워킹, 디자인서비스의 전문화 등 7가지 분야에 있어서 한국의 디자인컨설팅기업이 미국의 디자인컨설팅기업에 비해 전반적으로 낮은 수준으로 유지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 우리나라의 디자인컨설팅산업이 질적 성장을 거두고 안정적인 산업구조를 이루기 위해 7개 분야의 운영특성에 대한 지속적인 노력이 요구된다고 할 수 있다.

학제간 팀별 설계프로젝트 기반 산학공동 공학설계교육 (Industry Joint Engineering Education Via Interdisciplinary Team-based Product Development Project)

  • The paper addresses an issue of industry-joint engineering education paradigm with the purpose of setting a new standard for engineering education by development and support of competitive curriculum for the interdisciplinary team-based product development, a specialized and innovative engineering education program. In the department of MSDE (Mechanical and System Design Engineering), students are educated via three major courses for targeting engineering design, Creative Engineering Design (freshman), Design Process (Senior), and Creative Product Development (Junior). All these courses are based on personal tool exercises for design software and hardware and team-project group activities of the students with other team members. This paper will briefly discuss the main focuses of these courses and case studies of the teaching results targeting the development of telecommunication device.

NCS 기반 SW 신자격 설계를 고려한 자바프로그래밍 강의 설계 (Java programming lecture design considering NCS-based SW Qualification Design)

  • As the NCS(National Competency Standards) classification system continued to be developed and supplemented, NCS became widespread. Qualifications were redesigned to actively reflect industry demands, reduce the burden of redundant acquisition of unnecessary qualifications, and to evaluate objective capacities of the workforce. In addition to the learning modules to be developed in the future, previously developed NCS-based learning modules and lectures should be reorganized based on the new qualification design. In this paper, the Java programming subject designed based on NCS was redesigned according to SW new qualification design. Since the redesigned Java programming subjects consider the qualification design direction or qualification roadmap, not only can they be recognized as a test subject in qualification assessment through course evaluation, but also can be used as individual qualification data.

건설공사의 추락재해예방을 위한 설계안전기법의 효과성 분석 (Effectiveness of Fatal Fall Accident Prevention through Design for Safety in Construction Industry)

  • Construction industry is considered as one of the most high-risk industries for work-related injuries and fatalities, accounting for more than half of fatalities in Korea. Advanced countries have recognized the critical role of designers in preventing construction accidents and have established regulations on design for safety. In line with this, the Korean government have also implemented regulations that require owners and designers to review the safety of design outcomes. However, it has been observed that designers face challenges in identifying hazards and integrating design solutions at the design stage mainly due to their shortage of required knowledge and skills. This study aimed to examine design solutions that can be applied to prevent fall accidents in the construction industry, and to establish a relationship between these solutions and fatal fall accidents occurred over the past three years in Korea. This study also analyzed the relationships of four variables (construction type, cost, work type, and fall location) with design solutions. The results indicated that all four variables have significant relationships with design solutions, with fall location showing the strongest relationship. The design solutions and their relationships with fatal fall accidents identified in this study can be utilized in identifying hazard and integrating design solutions to ensure design for safety.

문화산업에 대한 재인식과 디자인 정책의 역할 연구 (A Study on New Appreciation of Cultural Industry and the Role of Design Policies)

  • 21세기를 사는 우리에게 디자인은 더 이상 산업적 부가 가치로서 생산과 소비를 활성화하는 행위가 아니라 보다 넓은 사회적 문화적 실천행위로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 문화생산의 주체적 발신자로서 디자인 역할의 확대와 디자인 그 자체가 문화로서의 자족성을 가져야 함을 주장하는 것이다. 연구문제는 문화산업의 중심에는 무엇보다도 디자인 행위가 있어야 할 것이라는 가정으로부터 출발한다. 연구의 범위는 거시적으로 문화산업과 디자인 정책에 대한 문헌연구 및 현황과 사례분석, 그리고 미시적으로 한국 미국 영국이라는 3개국 디자이너의 정책인식에 대한 비교조사 및 분석으로 진행하였다. 조사의 방법은 한국 미국 영국에서 양적연구(quantitative research)로서 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 디자인 정책의 과거 사실뿐만 아니라 현재의 현상에 대해서도 설명하고자 질적연구(qualitative research)로서 심층면접(intensive interview)을 병행하였다. 설문조사는 3개국의 디자인 전문가를 대상으로 비교하였으며, 심층면접은 한국에서 의사결정권을 가진 관리자급의 디자인 전문가 및 정책담당자들을 대상으로 하였다. 조사를 위한 설문지가 적절하게 설계되었는지를 알아보기 위해, 3차에 걸친 예비조사(pilot study)와 사전검사(pre-test)를 실시하였다. 연구문제 검증에서도 확인하였듯이, 한국이 20세기의 꽃으로 등장했던 문화산업 등에서 도구적 이성의 견제 없는 질주가 여전히 역사성을 넘어서지 못하고 현재성을 지니게 된다면, 우리는 정신의 시대에 진입하지 못하고 낙후된 주변국이 될 수밖에 없을 것이다. 21세기 문화산업에서 우리가 판단하게 될 디자인의 가치는 계몽의 원리에 대한 '역사성'과 '현재성'의 변증법에 달려있는 것이며, 새로운 철학, 새로운 문명, 새로운 세계를 열어가는 것이다.

한국적 디자인을 기본으로 한 패션문화상품 셔츠디자인 개발 (Development of Korean Cultural Shirt Design as a Fashion Culture Product)

  • The MICE industry is a new industry that combines corporate meetings, intensive tours, conventions and exhibitions. The convention (the international conference itself) is a conception born from the interpretation of multiple industries such as conferences, incentive tourism, exhibitions and fairs. It is therefore necessary to develop products that can contribute to the revitalization of the MICE industry. We will participate in globalization era trends by developing original design with unique color sense as well as traditional beauty and elegance that can represent the Korean Wave in order to develop high value-added fashion cultural products. We examine the formative characteristics of Chogakbo and apply them to the harmony of geometrical characteristics and colors. The morphological characteristics and sewing method of the Korean traditional 'fo' were also used for shirt designs. It is a fashion cultural product that applies to the Korean Cheokagbo design as well as maintains a basic aloha shirt design that can be worn by everyone (regardless of gender and age) to make it globally acceptable. We used a simple and interesting geometric configuration of the surface represented by the surface composition of the patchwork as well as proposed a design costume by 3D clothing simulation work. The research results can be used as basic data for the domestic fashion market and cultural goods market.

Green Supply Chain Management to Promote Environmental Awareness of Consumers in the Fashion Design Industry

  • Purpose: Using green supply chain management (GSCM), the current study focuses on the fashion design industry as a central player in promoting an eco-conscious consumption culture by creating awareness of the need to produce and consume eco-friendly fashion products instead of only capitalizing on the shifting consumer tastes, preferences, and expectations. Research design, data and methodology: This study selected a PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) checklist as a research methodology. The purpose is the detailed and disinterested evaluation of all the published information related to the topic of the research. Results: This study suggests brief solutions of the GSCM based on the five categories of sustainable fashion activities that contribute to the development of eco-friendly fashion designs and marketing strategies. This strategy employed by firms to promote sustainable production and consumption is a major factor in enhancing consumers' environmental awareness. Conclusions: The study delves into how brands in the fashion design industry provide a platform for collective action by investing in educational campaigns and transparent communication, collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize awareness of the need for eco-conscious consumption and the availability of green fashion products. Practitioners should consider developing a comprehensive framework to assess the feasibility of different awareness strategies and purchase stimulation approaches.

전산해석을 이용한 산업용 오일펌프 성능개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Improvement of Industrial Oil Pump Using Computational Analysis)

  • Recently, interest in the circular economy has emerged in the industry. As a result, interest in Re-manufacturing, which makes old equipment similar to new products, is growing. In the machine tool industry with many aging equipment, the Re-manufacturing industry is essential, and among them, research on the performance improvement of gear type oil pumps was conducted. The purpose was to achieve the target performance of flow rate and volume efficiency by changing the shape of the gear pump housing clearance and inlet/outlet, and Computational Fluid Analysis and Central Composite Design were conducted using ANSYS CFX 2022 R2 and MINITAB®. The level of each determined factor was determined. 20 design points were derived, and the Flow Rate at each design point was calculated, and the Theoretical Flow Rate was calculated to obtain Volumetric Efficiency. The optimal design point was obtained when the Flow Rate was 140 lpm and the Volumetric Efficiency was maximum, the optimal design point was obtained when both were maximum, and the Surface Plot for each factor was obtained to identify the tendency.

지속가능 패션 실용화를 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 개발 (Developing Design Education Program concerning Sustainable Fashion)

  • Sustainability has been a big issue over the whole global industry lately and is an important fashion trend that reflects the modern phase of the time. The concept of sustainable fashion includes physical fashion products made from eco-friendly or recycle materials as well as ethical value such as corporate social responsibility for environment, labor or working condition. Fashion companies of advanced countries who are aware of the geo-environmental and ethical issues found that generating profits by setting trends and pursuing external beauty can no longer be the ultimate goal of fashion companies, and started to recognize the importance of sustainable fashion as a future-oriented trend. Not only fashion industry but also governments of advanced countries have been playing a leading role to educate the people regarding the importance of sustainable fashion and making large investments to foster industry specialists in educational institution. The aim of this study is to propose sustainable fashion design education program that fits the domestic university curriculum and government-leading education program in order to set the foundation for sustainable fashion industry. Thus, this study investigates successful cases of foreign government-led sustainable fashion education that can be introduced to improve domestic sustainable fashion education. The empirical study of the research is developing 12-15 week university level education program to foster specialists in sustainable fashion. The survey carried out by the students who participated in the program shows the change of perception on sustainable fashion. Developed university level program can be spread to municipal corporation, school of continuing education, and etc. in order to derive participation and problem perception of the citizens on sustainability. Developing systemized sustainable fashion design education program would be the first step of sustainable fashion by educating students who will take the leading role in the future fashion industry. Moreover, it can strongly influence future customer education as well as a special education inducing interest on sustainability in everyday life. A follow-up study is expected to serve as a foundation for sustainable fashion to take root successfully in the fashion industry.
