This study is to develop design sensitivity analysis method based on continuum theory for the actual buckling load of vehicle passenger compartment with respect to sizing design variables. For nonlinear structural analysis, both geometric and material nonlinear effects are considered. The total Lagrangian formulation for incremental equilibrium analysis and one-point linear eigenvalue problem for buckling analysis are utilized. Numerical methods are presented to evaluate design sensitivity expressions, using structural analysis results from FEM code. Optical design of vehicle passenger compartment with buckling constraint solved using Gradient projection method.

The objects of this thesis are to examine the ways of applying the postmodern theory into the contemporary de-signing based on the korean culture and history. As the results of this study Ⅰfound the expressions of the postmodern design has much value to communicate because of the importance of the aesthetics. One of the most important postmodern design concepts, the historical allusion is also accepted as an aspects of new "ism" after modernism. In applying the historical motives the problem is that we must understand the meaning of ways of life and culture included the external ornaments. Finally if we consider not only the hardware aspacts but also the software aspects - society, history, region and culture - we can make our postmodern design lan-guages.

The paper proposed a basic architecture of an agent system to support exchange and sharing of design informations by means of ACL(Agent Communication Language) which can represent design informations and knowledges. Based on the architecture of the agent system a ship initial design agent system was implemented in order to show the effectiveness of the agent-based system. The basic architecture of the agent consists of an ACL handlerand CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) objects for the exchange of ACL messages in the heterogeneous and distributed environment. The ACL handler can process expressions of knowledge and manage communication messages among the agents. The paper mainly focuses on the implementation of the ACL handler. The ACL handler consist of a KQML(Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language) handler that manages KQML messages, a conversation module, and a content handler that handles message contents. The conversation modulo implements conversation policies and checks all messages if they are allowable and meaningful messages based on the conversation policies. The implemented agent-based system was applied to the ship initial design to show the handling procedure of the agent system.

In this paper, using an adjoint variable method, we develop a design sensitivity analysis(DSA) method applicable to heat conduction problems in steady state. Also, a topology design optimization method is developed using the developed DSA method. Design sensitivity expressions with respect to the thermal conductivity are derived. Since the already factorized system matrix is utilized to obtain the adjoint solution, the cost for the sensitivity computation is trivial. For the topology design optimization, the design variables are parameterized into normalized bulk material densities. The objective function and constraint are the thermal compliance of structures and allowable material volume respectively. Through several numerical examples, the developed DSA method is verified to yield very accurate sensitivity results compared with finite difference ones, requiring less than 0.25% of CPU time for the finite differencing. Also, the topology optimization yields physical meaningful results.

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 수학영재 학생들이 GrafEq를 활용한 디자인 활동을 하는 과정에서 나타나는 사고의 특성 알아보고자 함이다. 사전조사를 통해 GrafEq를 사용해 본 경험이 없고, 디자인 활동에 필요한 부등식의 영역을 학습한 과학 고등학교 학생 8명을 선발하여, 2인 1조로 4개의 팀으로 나누어 각각 6차시에 걸쳐 실험을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 논리적 사고 및 수학적 추상화, 직관적 구조적 통찰, 유연한 사고, 발산적 사고 및 독창성, 패턴의 일반화 및 귀납적 추론과 같은 특성들이 나타났으며, 이를 통해 GrafEq에서의 디자인 활동은 학생들에게 다양한 사고를 자극함으로써 학생들의 인지적인 발달을 촉진시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to delineate and analyze the expression of the kidult and its characteristics and thereby provide data to be used for fashion design in various manners as well as to suggest creative and varied possibilities of fashion design. As a way to study, the author of this paper organized the general terms, concepts and definitions concerning the kidult in the previous papers and journals. The data was collected from the collections represent the characteristics of kidult especially from 2006 to 2015. The results are as follows: Firstly, The characters stimulating the innocence of children were used the most for infantile expression. Parody used characters in the movie or famous logos. Deformation was used to create designs by way of distortion and deformation. Exaggeration thereby showing visually strong impression and inducing surprise and unexpectedness. Depaysement was useful to let us describe concepts and enhance our infinite creativity and interests about objects using surrealistic. Secondly, Infantile characteristics used the images of toys with infantile imagination and sense of humor. Fantasy introduced objects or expressed a dream-like feeling. Unexpectedness used two-faced ideas or conflicting ideas to express conflicts, collision and an interchange with heterogeneous things, avoiding the limit of size and the simplicity of materials. Parody used jocular expressions, satire and ironic expressions to express the original image in a fun manner. Exaggeration transformed changed the structure to restructure objects in a subjective and creative manner, thereby expressing creative patterns using various subject matters by way of special modeling or distortion and transformation.

본 논문은 지붕형 페찬 프리즘 설계 데이터 산출 프로그램에 관한 것이다. 우선 지붕형 폐찬 프리즘 설계 변수를 설정하였고, 이들 사이의 관계식을 유도하였다. 이 식들에 의해 우리는 face-length 와 유효 입사빔의 직경이 주어질 때 지붕형 폐찬 프리즘 설계를 위한 수치 데이터들이 출력되는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 실제 이 프로그램을 상용 사이즈가 아닌 프리즘에 적용한 결과 아주 빠른 설계 데이터를 산출할 수 있었고 이에 의해 실제 지붕형 폐찬 프리즘의 3D 구조를 쉽게 획득할 수 있었다. 이는 제품 개발에 필요로 하는 지붕형 폐찬 프리즘의 구조적인 데이터를 신속하게 확보할 수 있다는 것을 의미하며, 보다 빠른 속도로 스코프 관련 신제품 개발을 할 수 있게 되었음을 의미한다.

The purpose of this study is to create knit ruffles that represent the aesthetic and artistic values of painted works of art that rhythmically express flower petals and add an artistic impression on the knit ruffle designs. This study is based on the artistic life of Georgia O'Keeffe and changes in her artistic background, and the world of paintings. The relevant data was gathered from domestic and foreign references, academic journals, and the internet. The characteristics of Georgia O'Keeffe paintings were examined. Her paintings typically include a series of various motifs, symmetry, balance, and harmony of detailed realistic expressions and abstract elements, repetition, and the principles of contrast and emphasis in shaping. The decoration techniques used on fabrics were applied using the knitting machine which controls the tension to develop a variety of textures, apart from the previous standardized knit textures, through various knitting techniques. A gradation effect was then applied by piece-dyeing the knitted materials in various colors to express asimilarity to the original colors in O'Keeffe's works with delicate color expressions. After the piece-dyeing, the decorative knitted materials were trimmed on a model to re-create the natural curves of flower petals. This study aims to converge works of art with fashion designs to develop various creative knitted fashion and to impart an artistic sense in the fashion design industry.

The purpose of this study focusing on the gather decorations shown in the modern fashion was to review needlework techniques and design features of gather decorations and thereupon, analyze the aesthetic characteristics of gather decorations shown in designers' works to examine the gather decoration trend in today's fashion. First, the decorative features of gather decorations different from the conventional costumes are shirring, lace and trimming combined or shirring repeated. Second, in view of sensualism, the gather decorations seem to play a role of enhancing the exposure as a mode of expression, while the indirect exposure or beach is mixed with the materials to widen the range of gather decoration expressions. Third, in terms of history, the conventional decorative techniques are combined with new techniques and materials to create a fantastic and romantic mood different from the conventional costumes. Fourth, in view of rhythms, the wave line of the rim for gather decorations serves to express some vivid effects; on the human body, its monotonous plane repetition will turn into a new expression or a voluminous physical sense of motion. However, since expressions or meanings of the gather decorations are much diversified, they should not be regarded as simple decoration details. Our modern designers searching for new expression of creases use unique structural forms to explore the possibility of creative gather decorations. In all, since gather decorations seem to be significant as unique details conducive to a structural pragmatism and aesthetics, it is deemed necessary to continue to develop gather decorations.

본 연구는 국내 4개의 브랜드체험관을 분석하여, 브랜드체험관에서의 BI 표현 요소를 분석하고 브랜드체험관에서의 BI 표현 개선 방향을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 1차적으로 문헌연구를 통해 현재 브랜드마케팅과 시각적 경험적 BI 요소의 이론적 배경을 고찰하고 이를 분석할 공간 표현 특성에 대해서 조사하였다. 2차로 이를 토대로 추출된 분석 기준을 가지고 국내의 4개 브랜드체험관을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 브랜드체험관은 BI 표현 개선을 위해 자사의 브랜드 이미지를 체험관에 명확하게 표현해야 하고 다양한 콘텐츠와 상황을 통해 이미지를 효과적으로 전달할 체험 전략이 필요하다. 또한, 단기적인 체험이 아닌 지속적인 관계를 이어 갈 장기적인 체험 콘텐츠도 필요하다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 앞으로 브랜드체험관의 BI 표현 연구를 위한 참고자료로 사용될 것을 기대하며, 이후 진행될 다른 분야의 BI 연구에도 도움이 되기를 바란다.
