웹 기반 학습시스템은 다양하고 방대한 학습 콘텐츠가 운용되고 있다. 그러나 학습자가 학습을 위해 학습 콘텐츠를 선택할 때 이를 자신에 맞도록 효율적으로 구성하기는 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 학습자가 학습을 계획할 때 학습자 프로파일의 학습 히스토리 정보를 기반으로 선호도를 산출하여 학습 콘텐츠를 학습자에게 제안하는 방법을 제시하였다. 학습 선호도 산출은 토픽 선호도 벡터 값으로 산출하여 적용하였다. 학습의 적용 결과로 학습 모집단을 선별하여 학습을 진행하였으며, 학습후의 학습 만족도가 매우 높게 나타남으로서 본 제안방법이 학습자 스스로의 학습 진행에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있음을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 메타버스에서 진행한 취업 면접 훈련 상황에서, 성별에 따른 이모지 사용이 사용자 경험에 주는 영향을 연구하였다. 이를 위해 이모지 사용, 면접관 성별, 그리고 사용자 성별의 2 × 2 × 2 혼합설계 실험을 통해 사용자가 느낀 친밀감, 상호이해, 그리고 대화에의 집중도를 측정하였다. 실험 결과는 이모지의 사용이 보다 긍정적인 사용자 경험을 불러오는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 가상현실의 환경에서 진행하는 훈련과정에서, 적절하게 사용한 이모지가 취업 면접 훈련자의 불안감을 감소시키고, 더욱 긍정적인 능력을 이끌 수 있다는 시사점을 제공한다.

BIM(Building Information Modeling) is considered a new paradigm and a powerful method in building design, construction and maintenance. However, it is still hard to implement environmental performance analysis using BIM in design stages. This study aims to reveal practical problems and evaluate interoperability between building design information and performance analysis with case studies. Three case studies are performed using two environmental analysis programs (IES/VE, EnergyPlus) and BIM-based architectural design programs (Revit, GoogleSketchUp) in this paper.

Time to market and cost-efficient production are some of the challenge that manufacturing industries face. Modern methods of engineering can't help such organizations attain competitive advantage. To help these situations, MEMPHIS (Middleware for Exchanging Machinery and Product Data in Highly Immersive Systems) was introduced as an approach that enables VE (Virtual Engineering) and links engineering applications with VR (Virtual Reality) solutions. Thus an environment is provided to implement virtual design reviews and enable the application of virtual prototyping methods. However MEMPHIS could just handle Product data for virtual design review and simulation. In this paper, we newly define and develop the extended MEMPHIS that enables virtual manufacturing with Process, Resource and Plant data as well as Product data.

Shopping malls in Seoul become important urban public space where teens and youths as well as the elderly come easily and enjoy thorned environment. This study examines design motifs, structures and effects of theme design of three shopping malls-Lotte World, Coex Mall, and Central City-in Seoul, Korea. The study quotes Lynch`s five image elements-paths, nodes, landmarks, districts, and edges in the shopping malls in order to analyze internal structure of the shopping malls and theme design elements. The theme design of the shopping malls was often used the images of "city parks", "future city", "foreign tourist places", "carnival and festival", and "old towns" to evoke nostalgia of the past and fantasy of the future. The study finds that theme design was emphasized at the area of corridors-path, plazas-nodes and special districts such as movie theater and food courts. The study concludes that theme design in the three shopping malls should consider local(Korean) motifs in design properly and consider educative effects of the design on teens and youths. Thus, theme design of the shopping malls should meet multi-functional roles of the spaces aesthetically and socially, The data and analysis of this study can contribute to improve theme design of shopping malls in Seoul, Korea.ve theme design of shopping malls in Seoul, Korea.

Basically, modern architect's translation of relations between architectural space and human beings is focused upon the space and the way the space is experienced. Thus, the architecture is construed not as the finalized and fixed structure but as something undetermined and In progress. Here, we can identify the similarity between current trend and theory on process. Experience argument in this study is based upon such a similarity. And for your understanding of the spatial concept broached in the following experience argument, I've presented the analysis of Ben van Berkel's and Kazuyo Sejima's works that represent user's experiences in discussing art works. Taking a step further, I'll try to provide the true definition of being in progress and the potential of the architecture, thereby seeking the value and meaning of trends in modern architecture. In this regard, this study is aimed to analyze the attributes of experiences in progress identified in the art works of Ben van Berkel and Kazuyo Sejima and to extract and analyze the architectural concepts therein.

This paper considers the problem of robust H$_{\infty}$ control with regional stability constraints via output feedback to assure robust performance for uncertain linear systems. A robust H$_{\infty}$ control problem and the generalized Lyapunov theory are introduced for dealing with the problem, The output feedback H$_{\infty}$ controller makes the controlled outputs settle within a given bound and the control input not to be saturated. The regional stability constraints problem for uncertain systems can be reduced to the problem for the nominal systems by finding sufficient bounds of variations of the closed-loop poles due to modeling uncertainties. A controller design procedure is established using the Lagrange multiplier method. The controller design technique was illustrated on the track-following system of a optical disk drive.ve.

The majority of fixed shading devices are installed in the exterior of a building in order to dissipate the heat absorbing from the sun and to prevent the direct sunlight. In designing external shading devices for windows, many requirements must be considered simultaneously; solar geometry, optimum energy performance, multi-purpose usage and design factors etc.. In order Lo satisfy these requirements, we suggests the folding shading device and its optimum design methodology. Also we analyzed the thermal performance using the IES_VE program according to various operating modes and compared with existing shading devices. The results show that proposed device reduce about $1.90{\sim}22.40%$ in cooling load and about $1.09{\sim}24.22%$ in heating load in comparison with existing ones.

It has been common since ancient times to use fashion accessories to make a positive impression on others and develop personal brands. For this manuscript, I've designed a range of personalized electronic sounds and perfume accessories that use personalized scents and sounds to create memorable experiences. These have built-in auditory and olfactory actuators that can generate unique sound and fragrance signatures from the wearer and the other party. Based on the design explorations, I also discussed the issues of design and implementation of personalized electronic sound and fragrance accessories, as well as issues and additional business opportunities for the use of these personalized electronic sound and odor accessories in everyday life.

수도건설사업은 공용이후단계에서 소요되는 운영${\cdot}$유지관리비용 중에서 기계설비 및 관로시설이 대부분을 차지하는 대표적인 플랜트시설로 구성되므로 일반적인 토목시설물의 LCC모델과 차별화되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수도건설사업에 적합하도록 비용분류구조를 제시하고 이에 따라 수도시설 LCC분석 모델을 개발하였다. 설계VE 활동시 기초가 되는 설계VA의 절차를 실무활용도 측면을 고려하여 개선된 설계VA절차를 제시하였다. 제시된 설계VA 절차와 LCC분석모델을 사용하여 실제 건설사업의 설계VE활동에 있어 송수관로의 적정 선형 선정에 적용하였다. 제안된 수도건설사업의 설계VA모델은 향후 수도건설사업의 경제적${\cdot}$가치혁신적 대안선정과 유지관리비 예산 추정 및 적정예산 배정에 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
