This study developed the shape of low depth new shape high performance hybrid composite beam which is taken strengths and compensated the defect of composite beam and hybrid beam. Also, this study performed the monotonic test to evaluate the bending performance of Low depth shape by creating 12 bending specimens. Bending performance test result showed that capacity of the beam was increased stably. Also, it is possible to apply the existing evaluation equation(KBC 2009) of composite beam. Mechanical properties and structural performance of materials are considered when high-strength steel ($F_y=650MPa$) is applied to the bottom plate.
The purpose of this study was to suggest torso patterns that fit the three main body shapes of elderly obese women. To reduce time, costs, and also the trial and error needed to make patterns, the CLO program for 3D test wear was employed. Three virtual models for aged obese women were use, with the YUKA system used to produce torso patterns. 3D simulation of test wear and corrections was done to design optimal torso patterns. The results were as follows: First, for the three models of obese women's body shapes as realized by CLO 3D, Type 1 is lower-body obesity shapes, Type 2 is abdominal obesity shapes, and Type 3 is whole-body obesity shapes. Second, to design the study patterns, actual measurement values, back waist length and waist to hip length, were used. The armhole depth (B/4-1.5), front interscye (B/6+2.3), front neck width (B/12-0.5), front neck depth (B/12+0.5), front waist measurement (W/4+ 1.5+D), front hip measurement (H/4+2+0.5), and back hip measurement (H/4+3-0.5) were calculated using formulas. Third, according to the results of test-wearing the study patterns, reduced front neck width and depth improved the neck fit and reduced armhole depth bettered loose or plunging armhole girth and also reduced the sagging of bust c.. Also, tight sidesfrom aprotruded waist and abdomen improved with the increase of surpluses in the back waist and also back and front hip c. The exterior was enhanced by displacement of back and front darts, which distributed surpluses better.

Regeneration of Periodontium with PRP does not only improve regeneration rate and density of bone but have a possibility to estimate faster healing process for soft tissue. And also, autogenous bone and xenogenic bone graft are effective on regeneration of periodontium. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of autogenous bone and xenogenic bone $(BBP^{(R)})$ grafts with the PRP technique on regeneration of periodontium. 52 Generally healthy Pt. who had pocket depth 5mm at any of 6 surfaces of the teeth were in the study at Dept. of Perio. in Dankook Dental Hospital. Open Flap was treated for 18 infra-bony pockets as control group, autogenous bone with PRP was inserted for 25 infrabony pockets as first test group, and $(BBP^{(R)})$ with PRP was inserted for 22 infrabony pockets as 2nd test group. Then evaluation was made after 3 and 6 months 1. There were significant differences between average probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level of 3, 6 months and minimal and maximal attachment level after 6 months each other. 2. There were significant differences in average probing pocket depth of control group and 2nd experimental group between 1 and 6 months. For clinical attachment level and minimal and maximal proving attachment level, there was a significant difference after 6 month of surgery. 3. There was no significant difference between two test groups for average probing depth, clinical attachment level, and minimal and maximal probing attachment level. As the result, PRP with bone graft could be very effective for regeneration of periodontium and there was no difference between xenogenic bone and autogenous bone.

Earthquake preparedness has become more important with recent increase in the number of earthquakes in Korea, but many existing structures are not prepared for earthquakes. There are various types of liquefaction prevention method that can be applied, such as compaction, replacement, dewatering, and inhibition of shear strain. However, most of the liquefaction prevention methods are applied before construction, and it is important to find optimal methods that can be applied to existing structures and that have few effects on the environment, such as noise, vibration, and changes in underground water level. The purpose of this study is to estimate the correlation between the displacement of a structure and variations of pore water pressure on the ground in accordance with the depth of the sheet file when liquidation occurs. To achieve this, a shaking table test was performed for Joo-Mun-Jin standard sand and an earth pressure, accelerometer, pore water pressure transducer, and LVDT were installed in both the non-liquefiable layer and the liquefiable layer to measure the subsidence and excess pore water pressure in accordance with the time of each embedded depth. Then the results were analyzed. A comparison of the pore water pressure in accordance with Hsp/Hsl was shown to prevent lateral water flow at 1, 0.85 and confirmed that the pore water pressure increased. In addition, the relationship between Hsp/Hsl and subsidence was expressed as a trend line to calculate the expected settlement rate formula for the embedded depth ratio.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of guided tissue regeneration(GTR) technique using chitosan nanofiber membrane and to compare it to the clinical efficacy following GTR using PLA/PLGA(copolymer of polvlactic acid and polylacticglycolic acid) membrane in mandibular class II furcation defects in human. The chitosan nanofiber membranes were applied to the mandibular class II furcation defects of 13 patients(test group) and PLA/PLGA membranes were applied to those of 11 patients(control group). Probing pocket depth, clinical attachment level, gingival recession, plaque index and gingival index were measured at baseline and 3 months postoperatively. Vertical and horizontal furcation defect depth were measured at surgery. Both groups were statistically analyzed by Wilcoxon signed Ranks Test and Mann-Whitney Test using SPSS program. The results were as follows: 1. Probing pocket depth, clinical attachment loss and gingival index were significantly reduced at 3 months postoperatively compared to values of baseline in both groups(p<0.05). 2. Gingival recession and plaque index were not significantly decreased at 3 months postoperatively compared to values of baseline in both groups. 3. No significant difference between two groups could be detected with regard to changes of probing pocket depth, gingival recession, clinical attachment level, plaque index and gingival index at 3 months postoperatively. In conclusion, chitosan nanofiber membrane is effective in the treatment of human mandibular class II furcation defects and a longer period study is needed to fully evaluate the outcomes.
In this study, a series of numerical simulations was conducted in order to design a truncated mooring line with a static similarity to the prototype. A finite element method based on minimizing the potential energy was utilized to describe the dynamics of mooring lines. The prototype mooring lines considered were installed at a water depth of 1,000 m, whereas the KRISO ocean engineering basin (OEB) in Daejeon has a water depth of 3.2 m, which represents 192 m using a scaling of 1:60. First, an investigation for the design of the truncated mooring line was carried out to match the static characteristics of the KRISO Daejeon OEB environment. Then, the same procedure was performed with the KRISO new deepwater ocean engineering basin (DOEB) that is under construction in Busan. This new facility has a water depth of 15 m, which reflects a real scale depth of 900 m considering the 1:60 scaling factor. A finite element method was used to model the mooring line dynamics. It was found that the targeted truncated mooring line could not be designed under the circumstances of the KRISO OEB with any material properties, whereas several mooring lines were easily matched to the prototype under the circumstances of the KRISO DOEB.

It is widely known that the level of fire resistance of wooden structure is determined by a charring rate or charring depth, and these are adopted for fire design. In this study, specimens of domestic larch column with a lamination wooden type were prepared and the fire resistance properties such as the charring depth, load ratio and the specific charring rate suggested by EN Code investigated. Test results showed that as expected, the weakest part was the corner of the column, so that the charring depth of the corner was deeper than the other parts of the column. For the load ratio less than 0.9, it had little effect on the charring depth.

In this paper, we present a depth scaling method for multiview images that could provide an 3D depth that a user prefers. Unlike previous works that change a camera configuration, the proposed method utilizes depth data in order to carry out the scaling of a depth range requested by users. From multivew images and their corresponding depth data, depth data is transformed into a disparity and the disparity is adjusted in order to control the perceived depth. In particular, our method can deal with multiview images captured by multiple cameras, and can be expanded from stereoscopic to multiview images. Based upon a DSCQS subjective evaluation test, our experimental results tested on an automultiscopic 3D display show that the perceived depth is appropriately scaled according to user's preferred depth.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the dispersion degree of particles using a nanoindentation test for titanium oxide nanoparticles/epoxy resin nanocomposites. Thus, the effects of the particle size and weight fraction, dispersion agent, and position of the sample on the modulus and degree of particle dispersion in the nanocomposites were investigated. As a result, the dispersion degree of large particles was found to be better than that of smaller particles in composites. It could be found that the aggregation or agglomeration of small particles with large surface energy occurred more easily in nanocomposites because of the large specific surface area. The moduli of the upper side of the film-shaped sample obtained from a nanoindentation test were low scattering, while the values for the bottom side were high scattering. Thus, the dispersion situation of the nanoparticles on the upper side of film-shaped samples could be considered to be better than that for the bottom side. This could be concluded due to the non-uniform nanoparticle dispersion in the same sample. The modulus obtained from nanoindentation test increased slightly with the content of nanoparticles and increased with the indented depth for the same sample. The latter is presumably due to the increase in the accumulated particles facing the indenter with the indented depth. The nanoindentation test was found to be a useful method to evaluate the dispersion status of nanoparticles in nanocomposites.
