선루 제작시 데크의 전 변형 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control Technology for Global Distortion of the Deck in the Superstructure during Manufacturing Process)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the control technology of global distortion in the deck of superstructures during manufacturing processes. The behavior of global distortion in the deck was evaluated by FEA and verified through comparing with the measured results by 3D measuring instrument. It was seen from the results that the principal factor inducing the global distortion is to be the bending moment associated with the longitudinal shrinkage force and transverse shrinkage caused by welding of stiffeners and flame heating to correct the excessive local out-of-plane distortion. Based on the results, the amount of reverse distortion in the thin deck plate was determined to control the global distortion in the deck plate. The proposed distortion control technology was verified by applying it to the actual structure.

  • There are a lot of problem about waterproofing membrane coating for concrete deck of bridge and waterproofing sheets for concrete of deck of bridge because it couldn't confirm waterproofing's defeat after construction. These problems make a waterproofing material damage and concrete deck of bridge damage. So It needs a lot of money for repair work and reinforcement work. Therefor the structure slab of using waterproofing material protect invasion of water. Also, Concrete deck of bridge need a endurance permeability for the reduction repair payment.   • Most high rise buildings have been constructed with steel structure systems with metal deck floors and concrete topping. Since the mass of the metal deck floor system is relatively thinner than that of the concrete floor system and due to the larger span compared to other floor systems, vibration serviceability problems are frequently occurred. Most of vibration problems are induced by the movement of humans. A walking load function was proposed for the better estimation of composite deck floor vibration based on site measurements in this paper.

  • Planing crafts were specifically designed to achieve relatively high speeds on the water. When a planing craft is running at high speed, dynamic pressure on the bottom makes the boat rise on the surface of the water. This reduces the area of the sinking surface of the boat to increase air resistance. Air resistance means the resistance that occurs when the hull and deck house over the surface of the water come in contact with the air current. In this paper, we carried out a CFD numerical analysis to find optimal deck houses that decreased air-resistance on the water when planing crafts are running at high speed. We finally developed the deck house shape of high-speed planing crafts that optimally decreased air resistance.

  • Recent days composite bridge deck is gaining attraction due to many advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and high durability. In this study, composite sandwich deck models of hat, box, and triangular section type were fabricated by VARTM process. For those models, three point flexural test was carried out both in strong and weak axis. The experimental results are compared with each other to determine efficient section type. Also finite element analysis was performed and compared with experiments to verify analysis model. It has been demonstrated that composite sandwich deck can be used as bridge deck in the new construction and rehabilitation work.

  • E/R bulkhead is watertight bulkhead between engine room and cargo hold. So, it must have sufficient strength about cargo load of aft hold. Especially, partial stringer deck between tank top and $2^{nd}$ deck of engine room must have sufficient strength because it has function of primary supporting member. Generally, cargo hold structure is verified through the direct calculation as finite element analysis of cargo hold, but engine room structure doesn't perform it. Therefore, we have performed finite element analysis of engine room stringer deck which considered cargo hold load. And then, it will be able to apply similar ship design.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a new structural system for precast deck plate bridge. In order to investigate load distribution and composite effects by connecting diaphragms and precast deck plate to main girder with shear keys, computer analysis with F.E.M S/W package program ADINA was carried out. As results of analysis, the following could be concluded : -The distance between diaphragms with6m is suficient for crossing load distribution effects. -The composite effects by connection deck plate to main girder with shear key is reasonable. -The gap between deck plate and main girder under given load is negligible.

  • Composite behavior between FRP-concrete composite deck and girder is investigated by numerical analysis and parametric experiments. Compared to reinforced concrete deck, the weight of FRP-concrete composite deck is about 64$\%$ but the performance of composition is 90$\%$. Therefore the FRP-concrete composite deck has the advantage of longitudinal section stiffness increase in case of composition to the girder. The experiment, according to the variation of stud diameter, stud length and bedding thickness, is carried out. As a result, the static failure strength increases as stud diameter and length increase and bedding thickness decreases.

  • In recent years, efficient commuter transportation has become one of major issues to be taken into account around Seoul metropolitan area. In oder to solve the problems, several countries such as Japan, France and so on gradually operate double deck trains as efficient, reliable and comfortable mass transportation systems. However, the double deck trains have relatively big cross sectional areas and high mass centers that cause unsafe vehicle running performances and interface problems between the vehicles and infrastructures, and do not have enough spaces for electric equipments. Therefore, prior to operate double deck trains on the existing lines in Korea, careful investigations should be performed. For these reasons, we have studied the double deck train system for the existing lines around Seoul metropolitan area as an alternative way to carry heavy transportation efficiently and comfortably.

  • In many countries such as Japan, France and so on, the number of double-deck trains has been dramatically increased for the purpose of public traffic. Several researchers have performed feasiblilty studies related to the operations of double deck rolling stock vehicles in Korea since 2001. In recent years, rolling stock vehicles are required to have light weight to save energy consumption and maintenance costs. For these reasons, the standard EMU vehicle developed by KRRI and Kwan-Ju EMU(Electric Multi Unit) are made of aluminum extruded panels. The concept model of a double-deck rolling stock vehicle investigated in this study is also designed to use AEP(Aluminum Extruded Panel). In this paper, the methods related to the structural strength improvements of the car body are proposed through careful modifications of thicknesses and shapes of AEP.
