Infrastructure asset management is a methodology for programming infrastructure capital investments and adjusting infrastructure service provision to fulfil established performance, considering the life-cycle perspective of infrastructure. In this study, the methodologies for infrastructure asset management system implemented in sewer management system, bridge management system, pavement and highway management system, and embankment dam management system are described with focus on the system in U.S. As the major methodology to support the decision-making for asset mangers to better allocate the limited funds to the area needing it the most. various demand forecasting methodologies used in wastewater, water, transportation, electricity, and construction are also introduced for their applicability towards infrastructure asset management.

This study investigates the impact of website contents on Internet auction success. Based on the marketing concepts of stimuli, consumer behavior, and product involvement, the research model presents the theoretical relationships between the key factors of website contents and Internet auction performance. This study examines particularly four dimensions of website contents including transaction features, auction-specific features, seller's reputation, and information quality, which are deemed to have significant impact on the Internet auction performance, Each dimension of website contents is hypothesized to have a unique impact on a bidder's decision-making, which may vary depending on the bidder's level of involvement in the product. While transaction and auction-specific features serve as necessary components for successful auctions, a seller's reputation and information quality, as parts of satisfactory requirements, acutely affect bidders' decisions, especially those with high involvement to buy the product through a particular auction site. The outcomes of the analysis, in general, support the proposed model. The study results also provide meaningful Implications on ways in which auction websites can be improved for both sellers and auction service providers.

To keep the online medical records available to anyone without constraint of time and space, introducing EMR (Electronic medical record), which is a clinical support management system. The purpose of this study is to develop interface standard of clinical test device. Integration and sharing of medical information is faced with enormous obstacles because medical organizations and associated companies are separately developing the interface. I hope that multi-function management system with workstation concept is operated to efficiently transmit clinical device result data based on this study. Transfer of precise medical result data available for decision making will improve quality of health care service.

Recently firms become largely changed because of rapid technological innovation and serious global competition. It induces job stress of workers and finally leads to job burnout. This study aims to find the effects of job demands and job resources on job burnout. Job demands contains role ambiguity, role conflict, role overload and job characteristics. Job resources contains job control and feedback, involvement in decision making, learning opportunity and social support. The result reveals that job demands raises job burnout and job resources decreases job burnout. And it reveals that the effects of job demands and job resources on job burnout differs slightly according to job categories.

Due to change in management environment and paradigms, companies need to the open management system that provides information for real-time costing, customer satisfaction, decision making support, responsibility management etc. We are not ready to implement this system yet. But we must introduce a new management system, i.e., ABMS(Activity- Based Management System) on the basis of the ARC(Activity-Based Costing) by development of production/information technique. This paper realizes foundational concepts of Activity and ABC, reestablishes the concept of ABC correctly and expands ABC for ABMS. Thus this paper is useful for ABMS modeling, leading competitors, total productivity improvement and strategic management for the best quality and service.

Over the past 60 years, Korean numerical weather prediction (NWP) has advanced rapidly with the collaborative effort between the science community and the operational modelling center. With an improved scientific understanding and the growth of information technology infrastructure, Korea is able to provide reliable and seamless weather forecast service, which can predict beyond a 10 days period. The application of NWP has expanded to support decision making in weather-sensitive sectors of society, exploiting both storm-scale high-impact weather forecasts in a very short range, and sub-seasonal climate predictions in an extended range. This article gives an approximate chronological account of the NWP over three periods separated by breakpoints in 1990 and 2005, in terms of dynamical core, physics, data assimilation, operational system, and forecast application. Challenges for future development of NWP are briefly discussed.

In order to provide continuous Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) services, the operation organization should continuously and systematically perform operations, maintenance, and technical activities. All subsystems of KASS, all Line Replacement Units (LRUs), and Software Replacement Units (SWRUs) should be operated and maintained continuously. In order to effectively manage these activities, it is necessary to develop an Operation Management Tool (OMT). For this purpose, operation management, operation organization, and operation activities were defined. The defined requirements were divided into general, function, interface, and database for OMT development, and functions and decision-making procedures consisting of site/asset/trouble/work order/schedule management were designed. The OMT developed by reflecting the site and asset information as well as the design content met predefined requirements. The OMT will be actively used in actual KASS operation and will evolve by continuously reflecting the additional requirements of operators. Through this tool, KASS will support continuous service provision.

본 논문에서는 교차로와 같은 교통집중 구간에서 교통약자를 대상으로 하여 교통신호 변화를 사전에 미리 인지하고 대응할 수 있는 교차로 신호 사전예보 시스템을 제안하였다. 또한, 제안 시스템의 정보연계 절차를 설계하고 무선통신의 운용 가능성을 검증하기 위해 PHY 기반의 무선통신 시뮬레이터를 설계하였다. 결과적으로, 본 논문에서 설계한 시뮬레이터를 기반으로 교차로 채널환경에 따른 성능분석을 수행함으로써 교통약자에 대한 차량 IT 기반의 의사결정 지원을 위한 교차로 신호 사전예보 시스템의 서비스가 가능함을 확인 하였다.

전통적인 BI(Business Intelligence) 시스템은 제 시간에 더 나은 의사결정을 위한 도구로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 급증하는 데이터에 대한 효율적 분석을 위해 데이터 웨어하우스를 구축하는 일은 시간이 오래 걸리고 복잡하다. 특히, 데이터 웨어하우스 구축에 요구되는 ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) 프로세스는 BI 플랫폼이 클라우드 환경으로 전환되면서 훨씬 더 복잡해졌다. 이러한 ETL 이슈를 극복하기 위해 MongoDB와 같은 NoSQL 데이터베이스에 기반한 다양한 BI 솔루션들이 제안되었다. 한편, 의사 결정권자는 IT 부서나 BI 전문가 의 도움 없이 데이터에 쉽게 접근할 수 있기를 원한다. 최근, 이러한 BI 이슈들을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 셀프서비스 BI가 등장하였다. 본 논문에서는 귀농 귀촌인의 재배 작물 선택을 지원하기 위해 MongoDB 클라우드를 데이터 웨어하우스로 하는 농업 데이터 기반의 셀프서비스 BI 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 의사 결정권자에게 통찰력을 제공하기 위해 MongoDB 차트를 이용한 데이터 시각화 기능, 고급 데이터 검색을 위한 리포팅 기능, 실시간 데이터 분석을 위한 모니터링 기능을 지원한다. 의사 결정권자는 다양한 방식으로 데이터에 직접 접근할 수 있고, 제안 시스템의 기능들을 활용하여 셀프서비스 방식으로 데이터를 분석할 수 있다.

무선인지 기반의 시스템에서, 주 사용자를 위한 주파수 할당을 보장하면서도 부가 사용자에게도 끊김없는 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 부가 사용자의 멀티미디어 데이터의 전송 시 무선 링크의 빈번한 변경 때문으로 인한 데이터 전송 지연과 손실이 발생할 경우 QoS 저하를 피할 수 없게 된다. 부가 사용자에게도 끊김없는 서비스를 유지하기 위해서는 효율적인 주파수 자원 관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 다기준 의사 결정 방법에 근거한 주파수 선정 방법을 제안한다. 제안되는 주파수선정 방법은 퍼지 집합 이론을 활용하며 주파수 선택을 위한 결정 프로세스에 기존의 전파 수신 감도 이외에 셀 부하, 데이터 전송률, 가용 대역 등을 고려한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 제안된 방법이 수신 신호 세기만을 사용하는 기존의 방법보다 우수함을 보인다.
