In a situation where there are multiple diverse datasets, it is essential to have an efficient method to provide users with the datasets they require. To address this suggestion, necessary datasets should be selected on the basis of the relationships between the datasets. In particular, in order to discover the necessary datasets for disaster resolution, we need to consider the disaster resolution stage. In this paper, in order to provide the necessary datasets for each stage of disaster resolution, we constructed a disaster type and disaster management process ontology and designed a method to determine the necessary datasets for each disaster type and disaster management process step. In addition, we introduce a method to determine relationships between datasets necessary for disaster response. We propose a method for discovering datasets based on minimal relationships such as "isA," "sameAs," and "subclassOf." To discover suitable datasets, we designed a knowledge exploration model and collected 651 disaster-related datasets for improving our method. These datasets were categorized by disaster type from the perspective of disaster management. Categorizing actual datasets into disaster types and disaster management types allows a single dataset to be classified as multiple types in both categories. We built a knowledge exploration model on the basis of disaster examples to ensure the configuration of our model.

Sensor dataset for autonomous driving is one of the essential components as the deep learning approaches are widely used. However, most driving datasets are focused on typical environments such as sunny or cloudy. In addition, most datasets deal with color images and lidar. In this paper, we propose a driving dataset with multi-spectral images and lidar in adverse weather conditions such as snowy, rainy, smoky, and dusty. The proposed data acquisition system has 4 types of cameras (color, near-infrared, shortwave, thermal), 1 lidar, 2 radars, and a navigation sensor. Our dataset is the first dataset that handles multi-spectral cameras in adverse weather conditions. The Proposed dataset is annotated as 2D semantic labels, 3D semantic labels, and 2D/3D bounding boxes. Many tasks are available on our dataset, for example, object detection and driveable region detection. We also present some experimental results on the adverse weather dataset.

Ship collision accidents not only cause loss of life and property damage, but also cause marine pollution and can become national disasters, so prevention is very important. Most of these ship collision accidents are caused by human factors due to the navigation officer's lack of vigilance and carelessness, and in many cases, they can be prevented through the support of a system that helps with situation awareness. Recently, artificial intelligence has been used to develop systems that help navigators recognize the situation, but the sea is very wide and deep, so it is difficult to secure maritime traffic datasets, which also makes it difficult to develop artificial intelligence models. In this paper, to solve these difficulties, we propose a method to build a dataset with characteristics similar to actual maritime traffic datasets. The proposed method uses segmentation and inpainting technologies to build a foreground and background dataset, and then applies compositing technology to create a synthetic dataset. Through prototype implementation and result analysis of the proposed method, it was confirmed that the proposed method is effective in overcoming the difficulties of dataset construction and complementing various scenes similar to reality.
Recently, Cloud Computing and Big Data has become a buzzword in the field of IT. In this paper, as part of special efforts to support small businesses (SMB) in these situations, we designed the basic prototypes ver. 0.1, 0.2, and 0.5 for Hadoop cluster based on private cloud infrastructure and implemented the part of basic prototypes. And we verified the performances of the basic prototypes using ASA Dataset.
Communication systems, such as Switching System, are operated in the restricted conditions that the suggested events must finish in the time-constraints. Therefore, the data in the systems requires not only rapid access time, but also completion in the restricted time. Many existing data systems have been developed and used in the communication environments. But, the system construct a structural scheme and provide users with basic data services only. In recent, as the complexity of data in the communication area is rapidly increasing, it requires the data system which can represent the unstructured dataset and complete the data access in this dataset on the restricted condition. In this paper, we propose the data model which is suitable to the unstructured multi-dataset environment. The data model supports the rapid data access for unstructured dataset and enables users to easily retrieve data needed at the execution. In addition to, we define the several algorithms to clarify the structure of our model.

In recent years, visual-inertial odometry(VIO) algorithms have been extensively studied for the indoor/urban environments because it is more robust to dynamic scenes and environment changes. In this paper, we propose loosely coupled(LC) VIO algorithm that utilizes the velocity vectors from both visual odometry(VO) and inertial measurement unit(IMU) as a filter measurement of Extended Kalman filter. Our approach improves the estimation performance of a filter without adding extra sensors while maintaining simple integration framework, which treats VO as a black box. For the VO algorithm, we employed a fundamental part of the ORB-SLAM, which uses ORB features. We performed an outdoor experiment using an RGB-D camera to evaluate the accuracy of the presented algorithm. Also, we evaluated our algorithm with the public dataset to compare with other visual navigation systems.
In virtual endoscopy, it is important to produce high quality perspective images in real-time. However, it is more significant to devise a navigation method that can make a virtual camera move through in human cavities such as colon and bronchus without collision and let the user control the camera intuitively. We propose an efficient navigation method, which generates 2D depth map during rendering the current frame, then determines position and direction of camera using the depth information. It offers collision-free navigation and allows us to control the camera as we want. Also it does not require preprocessing step and additional data structures.
The Entry-Descent-Landing process of a lander involves many environmental and technical challenges. To solve these problems, recently, terrestrial relative navigation (TRN) technology has been essential for landers. TRN is a technology for estimating the position and attitude of a lander by comparing Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) data and image data collected from a descending lander with pre-built reference data. In this paper, we present a method for generating descent dataset and extracting landmarks, which are key elements for developing TRN technologies to be used on Mars. The proposed method generates IMU data of a descending lander using a simulated Mars landing trajectory and generates descent images from high-resolution ortho-map and digital elevation map through a ray tracing technique. Landmark extraction is performed by an area-based extraction method due to the low-textured surfaces on Mars. In addition, search area reduction is carried out to improve matching accuracy and speed. The performance evaluation result for the descent dataset generation method showed that the proposed method can generate images that satisfy the imaging geometry. The performance evaluation result for the landmark extraction method showed that the proposed method ensures several meters of positioning accuracy while ensuring processing speed as fast as the feature-based methods.

Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) is a satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) that provides approach procedure with vertical guidance-I (APV-I) level corrections and integrity information to Korea territory. KASS is used to monitor navigation performance in real-time, and this paper introduces the design, implementation, and verification process of mission monitoring (MIMO) in KASS. MIMO was developed in compliance with the Minimum Operational Performance Standards of the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics for Global Positioning System (GPS)/SBAS airborne equipment. In this study, the MIMO system was verified by comparing and analyzing the outputs of reference tools. Additionally, the definition and derivation method of accuracy, integrity, continuity, and availability subject to MIMO were examined. The internal and external interfaces and functions were then designed and implemented. The GPS data pre-processing was minimized during the implementation to evaluate the navigation performance experienced by general users. Subsequently, tests and verification methods were used to compare the obtained results based on reference tools. The test was performed using the KASS dataset, which included GPS and SBAS observations. The decoding performance of the developed MIMO was identical to that of the reference tools. Additionally, the navigation performance was verified by confirming the similarity in trends. As MIMO is a component of KASS used for real-time monitoring of the navigation performance of SBAS, the KASS operator can identify whether an abnormality exists in the navigation performance in real-time. Moreover, the preliminary identification of the abnormal point during the post-processing of data can improve operational efficiency.

Recently, methods of using machine learning in artificial intelligence such as autonomous navigation and speech recognition have been actively studied. Classical image processing methods such as classical boundary detection and pattern recognition have many limitations in order to recognize a specific object or area in a digital image. However, when a machine learning method such as deep-learning is used, Can be obtained. However, basically, a large amount of learning data must be secured for machine learning such as deep-learning. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the machine learning for area classification when the amount of data is very small, such as aerial photographs for environmental analysis. In this study, we apply a transfer-learning technique that can be used when the dataset size of the input image is small and the shape of the input image is not included in the category of the training dataset.
