  • This paper proposes a conceptual taxonomy of architectures far workflow management systems. The systematic classification work is based on a framework for workflow architectures. The framework, consisting of generic-level, conceptual-level and implementation-level architectures, provides common architectural principles for designing a workflow management system. We define the taxonomy by considering the possibilities for centralization or distribution of data, control, and execution. That is, we take into account three criteria. How are the major components of a workflow model and system, like activities, roles, actors, and workcases, concretized in workflow architecture? Which of the components is represented as software modules of the workflow architecture? And how are they configured and operating in the architecture? The workflow components might be embodied, as active (processes or threads) modules or as passive (data) modules, in the software architecture of a workflow management system. One or combinations of the components might become software modules in the software architecture. Finally, they might be centralized or distributed. The distribution of the components should be broken into three: Vertically, Horizontally and Fully distributed. Through the combination of these aspects, we can conceptually generate about 64 software Architectures for a workflow management system. That is, it should be possible to comprehend and characterize all kinds of software architectures for workflow management systems including the current existing systems as well as future systems. We believe that this taxonomy is a significant contribution because it adds clarity, completeness, and "global perspective" to workflow architectural discussions. The vocabulary suggested here includes workflow levels and aspects, allowing very different architectures to be discussed, compared, and contrasted. Added clarity is obtained because similar architectures from different vendors that used different terminology and techniques can now be seen to be identical at the higher level. Much of the complexity can be removed by thinking of workflow systems. Therefore, it is used to categorize existing workflow architectures and suggest a plethora of new workflow architectures. Finally, the taxonomy can be used for sorting out gems and stones amongst the architectures possibly generated. Thus, it might be a guideline not only for characterizing the existing workflow management systems, but also for solving the long-term and short-term architectural research issues, such as dynamic changes in workflow, transactional workflow, dynamically evolving workflow, large-scale workflow, etc., that have been proposed in the literature.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the trends and risk of bias of research using time series analysis on health and welfare in Korea and to suggest a direction for future health and welfare research. The database searches identified 6,543 papers. Following the process for screening and selecting, a total of 91 papers were included in the systematic review. There has been a steady increase in the number of articles using time series analysis from 1987 to 2013. Time series analysis was applied in medicine and health science journals. The main goals were explanation and description. Most of the subjects were heath status and utilization of healthcare services. The main model used in the time series analysis was ARIMA followed by time series regression. The data were gathered from various sources, including the national statistical office and government agencies. For assessing risk of bias, some studies were found to have inadequate sample sizes or showed no time series graphs and plots. These findings suggest greater widespread utilization of time series analysis in the field of health and welfare and to use the appropriate analysis methods and statistical procedures to obtain more reliable results to improve the quality of research.

  • A conjunctive Boolean text query refers to a query that searches for tort documents containing all of the specified keywords, and is the most frequently used query form in information retrieval systems. Typically, the query specifies a long list of keywords for better precision, and in this case, the order of keyword processing has a significant impact on the query speed. Currently known approaches to this ordering are based on heuristics and, therefore, cannot guarantee an optimal ordering. We can use a systematic approach by leveraging a database query processing algorithm like the dynamic programming, but it is not suitable for a text query with a typically long list of keywords because of the algorithm's exponential run-time (Ο(n2$^{n-1}$)) for n keywords. Considering these problems, we propose a new approach based on a property called the join sequence separability. This property states that the optimal join sequence is separable into two subsequences of different join methods under a certain condition on the joined relations, and this property enables us to find a globally optimal join sequence in Ο(n2$^{n-1}$). In this paper we describe the property formally, present an optimization algorithm based on the property, prove that the algorithm finds an optimal join sequence, and validate our approach through simulation using an analytic cost model. Comparison with the heuristic text query optimization approaches shows a maximum of 100 times faster query processing, and comparison with the dynamic programming approach shows exponentially faster query optimization (e.g., 600 times for a 10-keyword query).

  • Agriculture is usually the basis of a society, as well as the solution of dietary life. However, compared to other fields in which information-oriented system is rapidly accomplished, information system of agriculture certainly has slow growth since agriculture deals with a living thing. In addition, since government bodies related to filming have faced the difficulty of information system, they have tried establishing independent information system. The current agriculture-informationizing system can be considered as Agricultural Outlook Information System, Integrated agricultural marketing Information System and Outlook & Agricultural Statistics Information System but these systems are not effectively operated contrary to rut expectation, which$\sim\sim\sim$. Actually, there are some problems of bothinvestment duplicated and management by each independent government body, as well as Korea Rural Economic Institute-Commodity Model improper to real situation. In this paper, Agricultural Outlook Information, Integrated agricultural marketing Information, and Outlook h Agricultural Statistics Information System independently operated are integrated; Circulation Control, Technical Support, and integrated Database system are established; new integrated agricultural information system and various kinds of measures for activation of this system are suggested.

  • We propose an automatic detection and classification system of sewer damage database based on artificial intelligence and deep learning. In order to optimize the performance, we implemented a robust system against various environmental variations such as illumination and shadow changes. In our proposed system, a crack detection and damage classification method using a deep learning based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is implemented. For optimal results, 9,941 CCTV images with $256{\times}256$ pixel resolution were used for machine learning on the damaged area based on the CNN model. As a result, the recognition rate of 98.76% was obtained. Total of 646 images of $720{\times}480$ pixel resolution were extracted from various sewage DB for performance evaluation. Proposed system presents the optimal recognition rate for the automatic detection and classification of damage in the sewer DB constructed in various environments.

  • The purpose of this paper is both to analyze research trends and to predict industrial flows using the meta-data from the previous studies on data quality. There have been many attempts to analyze the research trends in various fields till lately. However, analysis of previous studies on data quality has produced poor results because of its vast scope and data. Therefore, in this paper, we used a text mining, social network analysis for time series network analysis to analyze the vast scope and data of data quality collected from a Web of Science index database of papers published in the international data quality-field journals for 10 years. The analysis results are as follows: Decreases in Mathematical & Computational Biology, Chemistry, Health Care Sciences & Services, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Medical Information Science. Increases, on the contrary, in Environmental Sciences, Water Resources, Geology, and Instruments & Instrumentation. In addition, the social network analysis results show that the subjects which have the high centrality are analysis, algorithm, and network, and also, image, model, sensor, and optimization are increasing subjects in the data quality field. Furthermore, the industrial connection analysis result on data quality shows that there is high correlation between technique, industry, health, infrastructure, and customer service. And it predicted that the Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, and Health Industry will be continuously developed. This paper will be useful for people, not only who are in the data quality industry field, but also the researchers who analyze research patterns and find out the industry connection on data quality.

  • It becomes easy and generalized to track the cellular phone users and vehicles according to the Progress of wireless telecommunication, the spread of network, and the miniaturization of terminal devices. It has been constantly studied to provide location based services to furnish suitable services depending on the positions of customers. Various vehicle tracking and management systems are developed to utilize and manage the vehicle locations to relieve the congestion of traffic and to smooth transportation. However the designed previous work can not evaluated in real world, because most of previous work is only designed not implemented and it is developed for simple model to handle a point, a line, a polygon object. Therefore, we design a moving object query language and implement a vehicle management system to search the positions and trajectories of vehicles and to analyze the cost of transportation effectively. The designed query language based on a SQL can be utilized to get the trajectories between two specific places, the departure time, the arrival time of vehicles, and the predicted uncertainty positions, etc. In addition, the proposed moving object query language for managing transportation vehicles is useful to analyze the cost of trajectories in a variety of moving object management system containing transportation.
